Spear Wolverhampton is a partnership between Spear and Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Tabernacle Baptist Church is a large and lively multicultural and multi-generational church located in the heart of the diverse and multi-religious Whitmore Reans area of Wolverhampton. Their mission statement is ‘Love God, Love People, Share Jesus, Make Disciples’ and their current text is “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful”. They want to see people’s lives transformed by Jesus. They run monthly evangelism in the community, meet in 8 house groups during the week and run discipleship and other training programmes.

The successful candidate would be employed by Tabernacle Baptist Church with Spear Wolverhampton as a key missional activity. Role Responsibilities

Spear Programme

• Support in group coaching sessions of up to 12 young people. Coaching them around skills and mindsets to support them in returning to work or education and equipping them with the skills to stay there.
• You’ll be given all the training needed to deliver Spear through our professional coaching methodology.
• This coaching continues for Spear Career – the 6 months’ worth of follow-up support. You will oversee a caseload of trainees and support them in work, beyond the initial Foundation Phase of the programme.
• Lead weekly 1:1s with a cohort of young people to monitor their progress and support them in their journey to employment.
• As part of this you will help trainees evaluate their progress and determine their work readiness throughout the programme – coaching them through challenges, creating moments of breakthrough and setting goals.

Relationship Management 

• You’ll build relationships with relevant professionals at local organisations, and communicate directly with young people, to encourage referrals to the Spear programme.
• You will support with job fairs, mock interview days and welcoming external visitors to the centre.

Church Community 

• The Spear Coach is directly employed Tabernacle Baptist Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church team and immersed in an exciting faith community.
• Help to raise the profile of the Spear programme within the church and build a network of supporters and volunteers from the congregation.
• Other relevant ad hoc church responsibilities from time to time.

About the role

Reporting in to the Government and Multi-Lateral Funding Manager, the Government and Multi-Lateral Funding Advisor will drive substantial growth in income and impact outcomes by actively engaging and cultivating strong relationships with existing and new Institutional funding partners, co-creating and bidding with our Multi-Country Cluster (MCC) and Global Programmes teams.

Would you like to help send donated medicines around the world to those who do not have access to live-saving medicines? IHP is recruiting a Logistics Officer to become part of our growing logistics team who coordinate the safe and responsible donation of medical products to where the needs are greatest, so that people don’t suffer needlessly from treatable illnesses.

As a Logistics Officer you will play an integral role in IHP’s work arranging the shipping of donated medicines and medical supplies, for example our essential health packs and antibiotics, ensuring their secure transportation to disaster hit and vulnerable communities such as Sudan and Gaza.

We’re looking for an Individual Giving Manager (9-month maternity cover) to achieve BMS’ fundraising strategy and goals by stimulating new and repeat donations from individual givers and leading creative innovative fundraising campaigns. Yeldall Manor is a Christian recovery centre for men overcoming drug and alcohol addiction. We’re looking for a caring, motivated person to help maintain a clean, comfortable, homely environment while supporting residents as they rebuild their lives.

In this rewarding position, you will help ensure the cleanliness of our buildings while working alongside our male residents who are recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. Although you will sometimes carry out practical cleaning tasks yourself, a key part of your role is to support, motivate and guide residents as they take responsibility for the majority of the cleaning as part of life in community.

You will need strong interpersonal skills, a calm and encouraging approach, and the confidence to set and uphold consistent standards. As a CQC‑registered centre, excellent hygiene is essential, and we aim to maintain a warm, family‑style atmosphere where everyone feels valued and at home.

Yeldall Manor is a Christian organisation, and every member of staff plays a part in supporting residents on both their recovery and spiritual journeys. This role therefore has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate be a committed and practising Christian (in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010).

We are looking for a Strategy, Partnership, Policy and Communication Lead to join the International Emergency Services (IES) team!

Location: London/hybrid (office based until after probation period)

About the Role

This pivotal role strengthens the organisations global humanitarian presence by ensuring IES remains a credible, connected, and influential actor within the international humanitarian system.

You will provide high level external engagement, shape strategic partnerships, guide policy development, strengthen communications, and align IES’s work with global humanitarian priorities. This is a highly collaborative role requiring excellent strategic thinking, organisational representation and relationship-building skills.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 5 years in a field-based humanitarian position.
• Minimum 5 years in strategic planning and partnership development.
• Degree in Humanitarian/Development Studies, International Relations or related field.
• Training in partnership development, donor engagement and strategic planning.
• Experience working with international donors and humanitarian organisations.

Knowledge of:

• UN coordination architecture, clusters and INGO networks.
• Donor landscape (institutional, governmental, philanthropic).
• Policy frameworks: CHS, Sphere, IHL, safeguarding, accountability.
• LRRD/nexus approaches, and global trends in climate, conflict, displacement, localisation.
• Strategic communications and crisis communication principles.
• Project cycle management, monitoring, indicators, due diligence, and MoUs.
