Job description

We are expanding our Money Advice team and have a number of vacancies for Debt Caseworkers and Debt Relief Order Approved Intermediaries to deliver advice and support to clients over the telephone and by webchat. Experience of money advice would be an advantage, including training to Approved Intermediary level, however, this is also an opportunity to be a trainee caseworker for highly motivated individuals without previous experience of delivering money advice, but who can show a willingness and ability to learn and develop quickly.

An ability to understand and deal with complex information is essential and the successful applicant will have excellent organisational and time management skills. The role involves managing a caseload, meeting targets and working to a high quality standard. The successful candidate would be based in either our National Debt Advice Helpline or our National Debt Relief Order Hub.

There will be an occasional requirement to work until 8.00pm during the week and Saturday mornings.

If you are an experienced debt adviser who can confidently provide complex debt advice and ongoing casework we would love to hear from you. Being an approved DRO intermediary and holding the IMA Certificate of Money Advice Practice (CertMAP) is desirable. If not, we can support your ongoing professional development.

Alternatively, this role is also available as a trainee position. If you have recent experience delivering generalist advice, combined with some knowledge of debt advice, you will benefit from our accelerated training programme. We are committed to equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality debt advice that meets both auditing standards and funder requirements.
