Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director of Operations (International Development Charity)

Civitas Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic major UK charity who strive to create a just world, free from poverty. An exciting opportunity exists for a Temporary Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director of Operations to join the team. The postholder will play a key leadership role, ensuring the organisation operates effectively and sustainably. You will also lead on lead on financial management, HR, operations, IT security, GDPR compliance, and fundraising oversight. This is a temporary, hybrid role in London, day rates are open to negotiation dependant on candidate experience.

Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in charity oversight ideally within an international setting. You will have proven experience in financial management within a charity or non-profit with multi-country.  A strong understanding of donor-funded projects, fundraising, financial reporting and compliance is essential for this role. You will also have knowledge of security and cyber-security protocols as well as experience in data management and compliance with data protection laws.
