Who We Are
The CO Research Trust (formerly known as the Gas Safety Trust) is the leading carbon monoxide (CO) research charity, established in 2005.
Our vision is a world where people are not exposed to CO. We fight CO poisoning in all settings through funding ground-breaking scientific research.
We have a small, friendly team who work to deliver the goals of the Trust and work closely with the board of Trustees.
The Role
The CO Research Trust is seeking an organised and proactive Stakeholder Manager to help coordinate engagement across our growing network of partners, researchers and organisations working to improve carbon monoxide safety.
This role will act as the main point of contact for our stakeholder community, helping to organise meetings, maintain relationships, and ensure insights from across the sector are captured and shared.
This is a part-time, term-time only role (39 weeks per year), making it particularly suitable for someone returning to the workplace or looking for a role that fits around childcare or other commitments.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for members of our stakeholder groups

Coordinate and organise stakeholder meetings, including agendas, papers and presentations

Prepare meeting minutes and maintain action logs, ensuring follow-up on agreed actions

Prepare briefings and responses to parliamentary consultations

Maintain stakeholder contact lists and communication channels

Share insights and feedback from meetings with partners

Support the annual stakeholder satisfaction survey and contribute to the Trust’s impact reporting
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised and able to coordinate multiple meetings and stakeholders

A confident communicator with strong written skills

Comfortable working with a range of organisations and professionals

Proactive, reliable and able to follow through on actions
Experience in stakeholder engagement, administration, project coordination or working in a charity, research or policy environment would be beneficial.
Role Details

Part-time: Approx. 3 days per week (20 Hours per week)

Term-time only: 39 weeks per year
