About this job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced individual with experience in project management who also loves working directly with the people we support. The ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences and deliver the project objectives will be essential for this role.

This is a ‘time-limited’ ‘test and learn’ externally funded project. The ‘Community Connections project’ – will help people living with and affected by MS to navigate support services ensuring that they have access to the support they require, at the time of their choice, and is delivered in a way that best suits their individual needs.

This is a fixed-term project until March 2026.This is a full time role comprising of 35 hours per week.

Working closely with people affected by MS, Key external partners, our funder Wales and West Utilities, the Service and Support Team, the Cymru Director, and the wider MS Society teams. You will be outcome-focused and deliver tangible results. You will need to forge strong partnerships with key stakeholders and represent the MS Society at key meetings and events in the project area.

This role can be based anywhere in Wales but there will be an expectation of travel throughout Wales and the project area (Wales, Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire, and Wiltshire), the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced business development professional with an excellent track record of securing corporate partnerships. You’ll be an enthusiastic, proactive and relationship-focussed individual confident to work towards driving growth within the charity. About The Role

You will develop our data and analytical capabilities, to give us a more in-depth understanding of our visitors and supporters, enabling their supporter journey to maximise income and engagement.

As our Senior Data Executive you will work in partnership with colleagues across WWT to:

• Improve our data warehouse, helping us get the most out of our data
• Ensure we have the data and processes to optimise our visitor and supporter journeys.
• Evaluate the impact of campaigns in the short and long term
• Analyse patterns of giving from members, visitors and other donors
• Create and manage data metrics, dashboards and reporting mechanisms through Power BI

We are a small team so you’ll be able to get involved in a lot of different projects.

This is a fixed term, project funded position for 18 months. The role is based at WWT Slimbridge but is suitable for hybrid working, with a minimum of two days a month in the office.

Key Fundraising Responsibilities

• Develop communications content that will invigorate our existing donors and inspire new ones leading to increased giving by individuals to IPWSO.
• Focusing in particular on our website and social media channels, communicate our achievements, impacts and needs with a view to influencing IPWSO’s online supporters to make donations and engage in fundraising initiatives.

About this role

This new role, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, is an exciting opportunity to join our team who have been supporting adults with learning disabilities for almost 40 years. As we look to the future, we need to consider new opportunities to build partnerships and collaborations to build a strong, resilient network of third-sector organisations in Swindon and the surrounding area.

Main responsibilities

• Work with the trustees, staff, volunteers and members to develop and deliver against a Strategic Business Plan.

• To act as the lead relationship manager with partners on behalf of The Open Door Centre.

• Take responsibility for diversifying fundraising, grants and income streams in line with the strategy and business development plan, be proactive in developing new leads and connections.
• Explore and develop joint grant bids by liaising with external partners to support grant applications that align with our strategic aims.
• Develop, monitor and maintain key systems and processes, such as effective funder reporting and review meetings, and monitoring and reporting on fundraising KPIs.

Skills, competencies and experience

Other information

About Us

Founded in 2007, KHULA Education is an award-winning South African NGO working in partnership with rural schools and underserved communities in deep rural South Africa to ensure children and youth can access a quality education and economic opportunity.

Over the past 17 years, KHULA has transformed schools that were previously failing into schools that compete at the national level; supported hundreds of young people to access tertiary education opportunities; and helped hundreds more on the path to employment. About the Role

We are seeking to recruit a creative and ambitious Fundraising and Communications Officer.

As our reach and impact has increased significantly in recent years, so has our income, and this new role has been created in response to that demand.  This is an exciting opportunity for a fundraiser who wants to widen, or consolidate, their knowledge and experience of fundraising, in an international context, as well as gain communications experience.

We are a very small team so the role will cover a breadth of funding streams, with a particular focus on Trusts and Foundations, High Value Donors, and Events, both special and community.  It is therefore important that you have excellent writing and interpersonal skills, and solid experience of crafting successful funding applications.  You will also need excellent planning and organisational skills.

The role can, to some extent, be shaped by the skills and experience of the successful candidate, but it is likely to include the following responsibilities.

 Key Responsibilities

• Steward, retain and grow the support of our existing donor portfolio: KHULA has an existing portfolio of donors including trusts, foundations, corporates, major donors, individual and regular givers, the majority of whom are based in the UK or South Africa. Alongside the Director of Fundraising and Communications, the post holder will be responsible for managing these relationships, including bespoke reporting for trusts and major donors and taking responsibility for their own portfolio of donors.
• Donor prospecting and new business: researching and generating new donor leads as well as acting on opportunities provided by our Board and others, converting prospects into supporters of our programmes.
• ​​External communications: working alongside the Director of Fundraising and Communications, assisting in the creation of our quarterly e-newsletter and the Annual Report, managing our social media channels, in addition to other ad hoc external communications.

Person Specification

Experience of working in a smaller charity and team is beneficial as this is a very hands-on role, covering a wide range of responsibilities.

BMS World Mission is looking for a Social Media and Email Communications Manager to join their Communications and Fundraising Department. BMS is a Christian mission organisation founded in 1792, today we are working in around 30 countries over four continents. We are passionate about making Jesus known across the world and transforming the lives of those we serve.

So, we're going to experiment. Definitely for nine months. Who knows, maybe it will work out longer but nine months seems like a good amount of time to grow a social media and email strategy from conception to being out in the wild.

We know enough to know what we don't know (and we've commissioned a detailed social media and email audit report to tell us the rest) and we dream plenty big enough to know there's so much more we could do. We just need to find the right person to be our experimenter-in-chief. Could it be you?

We are looking for a new member of the digital communications team to lead on managing the Academy’s social media channels and setting the standard for digital multimedia content across the Academy for up to 10 months.

The role

This is a key role in the digital communications team, with oversight of the Academy’s externally facing social media channels. As you further develop these channels and lead on the delivery of content through them, you will play an important part in positioning the Academy as a thought leader and engaging new and existing audiences with our work.

You will co-ordinate with colleagues across the directorate to ensure our social channels are used effectively. You will also provide expertise and guidance to colleagues, own systems and workflows, own and develop content templates, and ensure quality control for our social content. You will run social media campaigns and activity, writing excellent copy, creating high quality visuals and evaluating success.

As you will lead on the production of digital content for the Academy, you will continue to develop guidelines and documentation for colleagues and suppliers, who you will work with as needed. You’ll enjoy creating graphics and some video content too. You’ll report on analytics regularly for departmental performance metrics, and you’ll use insights and evaluations to continuously optimise outputs and performance.

We have an opportunity for a Digital Officer to support the day-to-day running of the College website. You will work closely with staff, members and volunteers to produce, manage and improve content for the website. As part of a small and busy team, this role would suit someone who enjoys collaboration and working with a range of stakeholders.    

We are going through an exciting period of digital transformation and this role will work on a variety of digital projects to support this area of work. The role will also provide support on a project to move our website onto a new content management system (CMS.)    

You’ll have experience of website editing and using CMSs, with strong technical knowledge. In addition, you will be comfortable scoping and testing new website developments, working alongside our web developers. The Communications Planning Manager leads the organisation’s internal and external communication planning and is the key partner and first point of contact for colleagues briefing in marketing and communication activities.
