Essential
· Passion for animals and enthusiasm for improving their lives, with evidence to support this.
· Minimum five years’ experience in project management, campaigns, lobbying or animal welfare law enforcement, investigations, or relevant experience, with a proven successful track record.
· Excellent communication skills - able to comfortably liaise with a wide range of people from supporters, journalists, internal teams to government officials including at in-person meetings and in delivering presentations to small and larger audiences.
· Adept at using a range of different communication channels for promotion of campaigns, including working with colleagues to develop website content, direct mail, email, social media, blogs and articles.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in tailoring messages for different audiences.
· Ability to plan, prioritise, work under pressure and to deadlines.
· Public affairs experience and/or ability to understand government & political process decision-making and ability to draft written responses to government/regulatory consultations with support from internal team.
· Experience in researching and writing evidence-based reports.
· Hard working, motivated and with a can-do attitude.
· Robust and able to handle sensitive, sometimes distressing information regarding animal welfare.
· Ability to manage staff, contractors and volunteers as required.
· Sound ability to use a variety of IT applications, including MS Teams.

Desirable

Men's Minds Matter brings psychological clinical expertise and lived experience to suicide prevention and intervention. In 2021, we launched the MMM model of psychological entrapment and suicidal crises (PESC-M), which now underpins everything we do. This is the first model of its kind, and we believe it has the potential to save many lives.
Our model underpins everything we do from training workshops, research, campaigning, and intervention development across multiple platforms. We are looking for someone as dedicated as we are to oversee our business development and help grow our future financial sustainability.
You will be working alongside our directors to secure funding to these projects whilst co-ordinating our business activities and business development.

Skills and Experience:
Essential
· Substantial experience of working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders in the public and voluntary sectors including participation in external forums.
· Experience of fundraising, building partnerships and generating sustainable funding streams.
· Experience of partnership working or initiative with demonstrable ability to engage and galvanise people to participate in it.
· Strong knowledge of the mental health sector and/or suicide prevention.
· Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills, facilitation skills, and a demonstrable ability to network effectively.
· Track record of devising and delivering strategic programmes of work

Main aims of the role:

Job Description
Communications:
- Develop, contribute to and implement impact-driven and strategic communications campaigns that build Kineara’s fundraising capacity and raise awareness of the issues
- Develop brand identity for Kineara’s new charitable arm, ensuring it is consistent across all activities in the organisation, while maintaining Kineara’s overall ‘look and feel’ to ensure coherence in branding, colours, messaging, style and approach.
- Oversee the creation, development, distribution of compelling, impact-driven story-telling about Kineara’s work and beneficiaries using interviews, blogs, case studies, etc.
- Use a range of platforms to distribute print and electronic content including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, leaflets, posters reports, e-newsletters, and Kineara’s website
- Work closely with IT and business managers to ensure smooth running of internal communications

About the role:
We are seeking a part-time Office Administrator for 2 days/week, initially for one year with a possibility of renewal. The hours can be worked flexibly with prior agreement of the Director. Hybrid-working arrangements (from home and on site) will be considered.
Main responsibilities:
Administration:
