We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take up a fixed-term, maternity cover role as Centre Leader at our
IntoUniversity centre in Weston-super-Mare. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including
managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting
IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery. A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children
and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young
people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Equation, a Nottinghamshire based, award winning and innovative charity dedicated to preventing and responding to domestic and sexual violence and abuse. 

We are looking for a part time Intervention Worker to join our Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme Service – the Your Choice Project (voluntary perpetrator programme). 

Our Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme Service aligns with the Respect Standards – a framework for safe, effective, and survivor-focused work with perpetrators of domestic abuse in the UK.  Due to specific requirements of the role (in line with Respect Standard B6) we are looking to recruit a male candidate to this post. 

The Intervention Worker will be responsible for delivering sessions (group and one to one as may be required) with people who recognise that they are or have been using power and control to abuse their partner, ex-partner or family member and who want to address this behaviour.  The Intervention Worker will undertake such sessions in a way that prioritises the safety of those at risk from domestic violence and abuse.

We are looking for someone who has experience of providing group work and/or one to one counselling and an understanding of: 

• Domestic violence and abuse and its effects on survivors 

• Why some people use abusive behaviours in relationships 

• The range of models used in addressing abusive behaviour 

• Safeguarding procedures in relation to children and vulnerable adults.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Compliance, Risk and Audit to join the wider Compliance, Audit and Risk team at SIG! You will have the overall responsibility of keeping participants, residents, and staff safe. The team manages the development, monitoring, and reporting of several areas including but not limited to accidents, incidents, and near misses (AINMs), safety reviews, safeguarding, whistleblowing, complaints, policy and procedure, health and safety, internal audit, business continuity planning and data protection.

As The Head of Compliance, Risk and Audit, you are the lynchpin of the wider team, linking strategic vision with solid and accountable implementation. You will be responsible for developing the team in the broad space of compliance as well as in their own areas of specialism, ensuring that a transparent and accountable compliance framework is implemented and embedded in line with regulatory and legislative change.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. At least 2 days per week in central office (Islington) and our services which are in and around London, Brighton & Hove, Kent, Havering, Bedford, Luton, Nottingham, and Liverpool.
The additional 3 days can be worked from home. You may at times be required to visit a service more than 2 times within a week.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who is methodical and detail oriented in their approach, who is a compassionate leader, able to set an example of our values (Ambition, Empowerment, Transparency, Inclusivity). OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Line Management and leadership throughout employee lifecycle this includes; Recruitment, Onboarding, Inductions, training, support and supervision, relations, wellbeing support, and other areas.
• Formalise Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) to monitor objectives.
• Provide both line management and professional consulting using best available forums and mechanisms, including meetings, support effective teamwork and communication. Facilitate a culture where constructive challenge is welcomed, and conflict is managed supportively in line with relevant policies and procedures.
• Deputise for the Director as required.

Safeguarding, Audit, and Compliance

• Oversee the compliance audits across departments and services, providing support, and follow up with operational teams on a regular basis.
• Oversee the Safeguarding infrastructure, deputising for the designated safeguarding lead (DSL) as necessary. Oversee complaints and other processes and develop these to ensure they are safe, fair, equitable, and fit for purpose.
• Support services with commissioner led quality assurance framework (QAF) inspections and those registered with the CQC to maintain their portfolios and ensure they are ready for inspection at any time to retain their registrations.
• Promote and support a positive whistleblowing culture, assist Champions, People and Culture, managers and the audit and compliance team on concerns raised and ensuring the whistleblower is protected.

Reporting and Analysis

• Attend and develop AINMs review meetings for maximum impact in terms of positive safety culture. Ensure the lessons learned from AINMs reviews, safety reviews, and safeguarding concerns are shared and feedback loops are closed.
• Review the collation and analysis of AINMs and Safeguarding alerts, developing the Audit and Compliance team, as well as other operational teams in reflection and root cause analysis

Data Protection

• Monitor the use of external data protection and compliance partners to ensure we maintain ICO requirements and maintain our Data Security Protection Toolkit Certification.
• Monitor and ensure integrity in document control, policy, and procedures as they are developed, reviewed, and published.
• Understand and support an Information Security infrastructure alongside additional teams in the organisation and support Managers and teams with training and challenges where necessary.

Other responsibilities than those described above may be required to be undertaken from time to time and will be expected to be performed to as long as it is within the capability and level of the position. Please refer to JDPS attached for more info

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in complaints and incident handling, safeguarding, data protection, and audits
• Proven experience in governance systems and structures which can include auditing, risk management, investigations, complaint handling, policy, procedure, and report writing
• Experience and/or ability to coach, develop, and manage direct reports
• Background in health, social care, criminal justice, and/or supported housing systems
• IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, and ability to confidently use and utilise Microsoft programs
• Adequate understanding of the importance and mechanics of document control and writing policy and procedure
• Working knowledge of health and safety processes and procedures
• Ability to write reports in a clear, readable format

• Knowledge of the ISO9001 QMS System

Role Overview: 

The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. You will develop and execute multi-channel strategies delivered across the funnel from enhancing brand visibility and generating leads, nurturing leads to conversion, right the way through to supporting customer retention and advocacy. • Membership engagement and growth: Developing and executing strategic marketing and sales strategies to drive member engagement, growth and retention with our flagship membership and subscription services.

• Marketing analysis and segmentation: Conducting market analysis/research within existing and untapped markets to uncover insights to segment audiences and tailor marketing messaging and activities effectively to drive conversions.

Essential experience and skills

About the Role

WISH2 is one of three components of the FCDO-funded WISH Dividend programme, which follows on from the Women’s Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) programme (August 2018 - March 2024). It will be implemented alongside two other components, which will focus on 1. Policy and Systems, i.e. a demand-led, flexible technical assistance programme on SRHR and Demographic Transition and 2. Evidence and Learning, i.e. a Third Party Monitoring and verification, evaluation and learning support. As for WISH 2, it will aim to support targeted countries on comprehensive SRHR including support for service delivery and technical assistance, and will be implemented through two consortium structures, called Lots. MSI-led Lot 1 will focus on West and Central Africa (namely in DRC, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Chad and Mauritania) and IPPF-led Lot 2 on East and Southern Africa. Lot 1 consortium partners will be MSI, Ipas, Options, Sightsavers, RAES and WILDAF-AO. The programme should start in May/ June 2024 and last 60 months.

As a core member of MSI’s WISH2 Lot 1 Management Team, the Project & Communications Officer (PCO) will contribute to the fulfilment of the MSI-led consortium’s mission under the programme, taking responsibility for providing administrative support and ensuring good communication about the project with external and internal stakeholders, to ensure the smooth implementation of the project -

• Contract management, including compliance, and due diligence;
• Administrative support to the management team, coordination of all WISH 2 Lot 1 Management Team meetings and consortium meetings to ensure strong collaboration, communication and learning through meetings, workshops, country visits, etc;
• Technical support with creation and maintenance of shared systems, and ways of working to ensure best practice and the achievements of the project are documented; and communications, reporting and compliance requirements are adhered to;
• Communications support and materials production, i.e. support the Project Director and Deputy Project Director with the development and implementation of a WISH2 Lot 1 communications and visibility strategy, increasing knowledge and awareness of the project and ensuring compliance with FCDO communications requirements. This will include support to the development of a range of communications materials and their dissemination.

Purpose of the role

This role will provide oversight, coordinate and manage  the editorial process of publishing Field Exchange that includes tracking ideas, soliciting and securing submissions of Field Exchange content, critically appraising potential content, discussing, brokering and supporting content development with authors, coordinating input from the Field Exchange Editorial Team, liaising with copy editors and designers and ensuring content deadlines are scheduled and are adhered to, as well as ensuring quality, relevant and timely curated content is produced and disseminated. This position will also take a lead role in implementing the Field Exchange Strategy 2024-2029.

Key Responsibilities

Content development

• Actively seek opportunities for FEX content across a broad range of technical areas, leveraging and developing internal and external contacts and networks.
• Seek and secure a spectrum of contributors, prioritising country stakeholder lead and co-authorship. And including Francophone representation (in collaboration with FEX francophone lead).

FEX strategy implementation
