ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Careers Adviser to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Careers Team. In this key position, you will work across multiple sites within our Essex academies, supporting students to make informed, ambitious, and aspirational decisions about their futures.
As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with the Strategic Careers Lead and fellow advisers, providing expert guidance and helping to shape and deliver a high-impact CEIAG programme. You will also be a valued colleague within a supportive and collaborative team, where you will always have someone to bounce ideas off and share good practice.
Whether it’s further education, apprenticeships, traineeships or employment, you will play a vital role in guiding students towards the post-16 and post-18 pathways that best suit their individual goals and aspirations.
Your contribution will be central to raising aspirations, inspiring ambition, and ensuring every student, regardless of background or ability, is fully aware of the range of opportunities available to them. Together, we aim to deliver a high-quality, inclusive CEIAG programme from Year 7 to Year 13 that empowers all students to succeed.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning high-quality careers education with each academy’s Careers Lead, aligned to statutory guidance and academy improvement plans
- Delivering careers assemblies that broaden students’ understanding of post-16 and post-18 options
- Providing impartial, personalised career guidance through one-to-one meetings and group sessions
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of guidance meetings and actions on Unifrog
- Tracking and reporting on students’ aspirations and progression
- Supporting students with post-16 and post-18 choices, including referring those with specific needs (e.g., SEND) to specialist services
- Liaising with external agencies, networks, and partners to strengthen the Higher Education and Careers programme
- Engaging parents and carers in the careers guidance process and attending parents’ evenings
- Organising meaningful employer encounters that inspire students and expand their understanding of the workplace
- Attending results days and enrolment days
- Supporting wider team members by sharing best practice and offering shadowing opportunities
- Acting as a point of contact and mentoring new team members to aid their development
- Providing careers-related evidence and supporting academies during Ofsted inspections
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- A Diploma in Careers Guidance or Qualification in Careers Guidance to Level 6
- Experience in supporting or managing staff members to help them achieve their professional goals
- Proven working knowledge of Ofsted careers education assessment criteria for the personal development strand
- Experience of planning and organising events
- Proven experience in delivering impartial, personalised career guidance through one-to-one meetings, group sessions and assemblies
- Experience of successfully motivating students to plan and achieve their career goals
- A proactive approach, and efficient time management and prioritisation skills
- An ability to work independently and flexibly within the Academy structure
- Experience of developing and delivering CEIAG within an education setting.

We deploy teams of vets and vet nurses, send equipment and supplies to help struggling organisations on the front line of animal welfare, and train vets at our international training centres in India, Thailand, Malawi, Cambodia, and the Galápagos Islands. Our Mission Rabies project runs mass canine vaccination and community education in the world’s worst hotspots for the disease. Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the wider WVS team to produce engaging and informative content for social media, including producing day to day content plans and supporting on campaigns.

About the role
In this role, you will help Scope speak up for disabled people in Parliament and across UK politics. The role builds strong relationships with MPs, peers and other political groups. It also helps Scope share clear messages about what needs to change for disabled people.

The role of a Children and family Worker will support children and young people under the age of 18 on a one-to-one basis in a confidential space. The role will deliver a wide range of interventions/ education though activities, such as games, arts and crafts and emotional wellbeing resources. The role will utilise a young person-centred approach, empowering them to explore situations which they feel they have little control over to support them to lead a safe, happy, and healthy life.
The role will work in partnership and liaise with other young people services throughout Buckinghamshire, to provide holistic support to young people accessing the service. We need to record information about what we do, so enjoying a bit of admin work and attention to detail is important, but most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with young people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives. You will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required so must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car. About the role:
- To holistically support CYP affected by parental substance misuse, using a range of interventions including group work, 1:1 work, whole family interventions, safety planning and safeguarding working closely and proactively with the family unit to support positive and sustainable outcomes.
- Identify families in conjunction with other agencies, who will benefit from a Think Family / Whole family approach, negotiating participation and engagement with the programme of care.

As an Outreach Worker in Complex Needs, you will be responsible for a caseload of clients who are residing in the Emergency Bed Spaces in London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) along with clients in TA and some who may be rough sleeping. Ensuring delivery of a high-quality service to individuals experiencing rough sleeping. We work in a compassionate and trauma informed way, ensuring we are promoting client independence and in a client-led manner. Your skills will be vital in supporting operational effectiveness and the team to engage with people who need help most.
You will work closely with the hostel services, local authority partners, statutory and voluntary services, and key stakeholders to ensure an integrated, person-centred approach to tackling rough sleeping. LBTH prides itself in great partnership relations across the numerous stakeholders supporting our clients, that is key to Tower Hamlets’ approach.
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Caseload: Caseload of clients who are allocated daily. Providing a person-centred approach to working with clients through: Support needs assessments, Risk assessments, referrals to services, and updating relevant parties on progress of client cases
- Shifts: Planning and conducting outreach shifts on early/mid/late basis on the streets of LBTH to identify and support clients who are rough sleeping. Duty shifts at least once a week supporting clients who arrive for support, manning the team inbox, responding or forwarding messages to the appropriate team members.
- Partnership working: Collaborate with local authority teams, hostels, external agencies, and community partners to provide coordinated, high-quality support to rough sleepers. Attending, organising and chairing Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Meetings, external partner shifts
- Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to ensure a holistic and inclusive response to homelessness in the borough.
- Service development: Work closely with managers and stakeholders to ensure that KPI targets and service standards are me and positive outcomes for people experiencing rough sleeping.

Step Forward is seeking an experienced Therapeutic Service Lead to join our multi-disciplinary team supporting young people aged 11–25 with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

The senior campaigns adviser will play a pivotal role in delivering our 2020–2030 strategy. To improve the lives of people affected by kidney disease, we must ensure the condition is firmly on the UK’s health and life sciences policy agenda. In this role, you will help make that happen by developing and delivering powerful, engaging campaigns that mobilise supporters behind our key policy asks.
We are looking for an experienced campaigns professional who is energised by the opportunity to grow and inspire a committed supporter base. You will be a natural relationship-builder with a flair for crafting creative, compelling communications, and you will bring hands-on experience of running effective digital campaigns.
