Group Support Co-ordinator
Pay grade: NJC Grade Point 24 - £33,024 per annum pro-rata based on a three-day working week comprising 21 hours per week (£18,797).

Duties and responsibilities
Service Development
Consultation and Outreach
- Consult with current and potential group participants and draw on existing service data analysis to inform the content, locations, timings and other details of a groups programme for people affected by self-harm, following on from previous pilot groups run in 2023 and 2024
- Analyse consultation and service data and in collaboration with team members decide on groups programme themes
Community Connections and Groups Development
- Connect with and become a member of a range of relevant community networks in the local area to both share service information and learning, and learn about range of wider community support available
- Connect with and build a database of potential facilitators and venues
- Develop a rolling groups calendar with a core ongoing peer support group and time-limited specialist groups
- Build on existing processes and further develop processes and procedures to ensure robust record keeping, partnership agreements and safeguarding processes are in place that are GDPR compliant
- In collaboration with other Self Injury Support services, explore areas of overlap, potential for shared learning and joint working
- In collaboration with other Self Injury Support services, develop processes and procedures to support inclusivity and accessibility, including the administration of an accessibility fund for participants
Service Delivery
Groups Promotion and Delivery
- Handle groups logistics such as booking specialist facilitators, venues, refreshments and materials in line with budget
- In collaboration with the Communications Officer develop print and digital promotional materials and develop a dissemination plan
- In collaboration with other Self Injury Support services, conduct outreach work to promote the groups programme to other relevant community groups and organisations
- Respond to group programme enquiries and bookings, keep accurate, GDPR compliant records of participants, send information to participants in a timely manner
- Administer the accessibility fund with support from the Finance Administrator
- Support the delivery of groups in collaboration with other Self Injury Support team members
- In collaboration with the Self Injury Support safeguarding team, ensure all safeguarding concerns are addressed promptly and recorded in line with organisational policy
- Take part in personal reflective practice and professional development training as needed
Review and Evaluation
- Plan appropriate evaluation and monitoring of the groups programme which encompasses the experiences of participants and facilitators and aligns with wider organisational service monitoring
- Present evaluation findings in reports for the board of trustees and funders as needed

Job Description
Communications:
- Develop, contribute to and implement impact-driven and strategic communications campaigns that build Kineara’s fundraising capacity and raise awareness of the issues
- Develop brand identity for Kineara’s new charitable arm, ensuring it is consistent across all activities in the organisation, while maintaining Kineara’s overall ‘look and feel’ to ensure coherence in branding, colours, messaging, style and approach.

As Project Officer, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of all types of datasets available within the Diocese, including demographic data, attendance records, retention statistics and financial records, whilst identifying and implementing appropriate tools and methodologies for collecting and analysing new data insights.
An integral member of the Strategy Team and reporting to the Strategic Programme Manager, you will lead data analysis work for projects as needed, providing statistical expertise and composing narrative insights for project reports to inform decision making, support funding cases and investment requests.
Acting as a point of contact between the project office and other stakeholders, you will provide coordination and support as needed to ensure the smooth implementation of projects. You will also assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and documenting minutes, ensuring timely progress and effective communication within the team and with external partners.
In addition, you will represent the Strategic Programme Manager at project reviews, contributing to discussions and decision-making processes as needed.
Educated to degree level in a related subject or with equivalent experience, you should have familiarity with a variety of ways of presenting complex data clearly and be able to manage and organise a range of datasets from multiple sources to enable analysis, presentation and the identification of synergies.
Your enquiring mind and careful approach to manipulating and mining data to create insights and information, along with your ability to interpret data through an understanding of the project’s context, will ensure you are able to frame the questions that matter.
A high degree of IT literacy including use of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools and a working knowledge of databases, along with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills and a creative ability to deliver insights in clear and accessible written, verbal and visual media formats are essential.
Experience of using Business Intelligence tools and familiarity with basic project management principles would be desirable, as would being sympathetic with the mission and ethos of the Christian Church, the Church of England, the Diocese of Canterbury and the vision and values of our church schools.

We’re looking for a Country Manager who is, at heart, a peacebuilder. You will be someone willing to lead by your example, coaching, inspiring and giving technical support as you spend time with peacebuilding teams across the north of CAR, including three Hub Peacebuilding Managers in local offices in the borderlands, up to eight programme officers and over 300 local peacebuilders who form our Advisory Groups.
Living in Bangui, you’ll report directly to the Regional Director and work collaboratively as a key part of the Regional Leadership Team to shape the strategic direction of Concordis’ future work across the Central African region.
The needs in CAR are immense, and we need you to have the vision and motivation to look beyond programme delivery, as important as that is, and to identify new opportunities and new funding for additional programming. You’ll support the team as they design, develop and source funding for new work that will a deliver measurable change for peace.
You will be someone who is curious and keen to spend time with people in the borderlands, where conflict is fought and felt. You will also have the confidence and ability to be part of high-level meetings with ministers and ambassadors, amplifying voices that are often ignored by decision makers, leading to evidence-based, conflict sensitive policy making.
Role Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for technical peacebuilding aspects of Concordis’ work in CAR
- Responsible for leading on all aspects of peacebuilding in delivering an ambitious but realistic borders programme to time and to budget, meeting all contractual requirements of the donor
- Responsible for providing managerial oversight in developing and delivering strategic work plans in accordance with donor log frames to achieve delivery of all activities and outcomes, reporting on these to the donor
- Develop opportunities to use the significant flexibility built into this contract to maximise impacts for peace, beyond pure contractual terms, negotiating these with the donor
- Visionary leadership with the staff team, key stakeholders and international donors to identify gaps in peacebuilding provision and to develop opportunities for future work that will meet identified needs, be locally owned and deliver measurable impact
Influence policymaking and advocacy
- Represent Concordis in CAR with high-level engagement with local, national, regional and international decision makers, using evidence from the programme to influence policymaking
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers, then use this access to amplify voices that are often ignored, engaging with Government officials, Diplomatic staff, Regional bodies that support Central African countries (eg COMIFAC, ECCAS, CEMAC, OFAC etc), UN and multilateral agencies and humanitarian and developmental staff
- Participate actively in regional conferences and negotiations to ensure that the voices of people in the borderlands are heard, and that locally-led and conflict sensitive solutions are reflected in strategic decision-making
Responsible for strategic programme development
- Building and maintain relationships that may lead to new funding opportunities from bilateral, multilateral and other institutional donors
- Provide strategic support to fundraising providing timely information to support the development of new bids and engaging directly with donors
Leadership responsibility in the Regional Team
- Member of the Central African Regional Senior Leadership Team and will lead the CAR Country Senior Leadership Team supported collaboratively by the CAR Finance Manager
- Responsible for line managing three Peacebuilding Hub Managers
- Responsible for giving coaching, mentoring and technical support to the peacebuilding team in CAR, inspiring them in their roles and focusing their efforts to deliver rapid and sustainable results, whilst ensuring that staff development needs are met
- Promote clear lines of communication between staff members and offices, across the Central African Regional programme and with staff in the UK. Lead or participate in a system of team meetings, one-to-ones and informal gatherings
- Responsible for ensuring that staff development needs are met including training and appraisals
- Responsible for ensuring that CAR project staff understand and adhere to staff safety, security policies and plans and that such plans are kept up to date. Closely monitor the security dynamics in target areas and report to the Regional Director on significant changes in the security context
- Work collaboratively with finance staff to manage project resources, prepare project budgets, review and monitor spending and submit regular reports to the donor
- Work with Regional Head of MEAL to prepare regular donor reports to the donor

About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Reprieve team as our Head of Digital and Mass Engagement covering parental leave. With the support of the Deputy Director of Development, you will lead our fast‐moving and creative Mass Engagement Team, who power fundraising across multiple channels. Our Mass Engagement work is at a pivotal moment. Reprieve’s income from the general public through regular and individual giving, generated largely by email fundraising, has experienced a drop, with many of our supporters understandably reassessing their charitable giving in the face of the economic crisis.
In response to this new context, Reprieve is launching its new strategy and investing creatively to ensure sustained engagement and growth of our incredible community of supporters. Salary, contract and location
