CoramIAC is a Voluntary Adoption Agency which specialises in Intercountry Adoptions.
CoramIAC - Intercountry Adoption Centre, have been working with families adopting from across the world for over 26 years. CoramIAC is a charity, not-for-profit and an accredited, legally registered adoption agency. We run outstanding services to support children and families affected by adoption. With the majority of our adopters being from the global majority, adopting from countries where they have connections. We have a diverse staff team. We have had four consecutive outstanding judgements from Ofsted.
About the Role
As one of three Adoption Assessment Caseworkers providing administrative support to the Coram IAC Adoption Assessment Team, you will play a key role in delivering effective and efficient administrative and business support throughout all stages of the assessment process for prospective adoptive parents seeking to adopt internationally. The postholder will be accountable to the Assessment Team Manager and Senior Social Workers.
We are looking for a team-focused individual who thrives in a small, busy, and developing agency environment. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and able to work flexibly and creatively to meet the demands of the role.
Previous administrative experience is essential, ideally within a social care or related setting. Strong IT skills and confidence in using a range of computer systems are also required.
