In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of live products and partnerships, acting as the escalation point for complex delivery issues and ensuring strong audit trails, regulatory boundaries, and continuous improvement. About the Role 

As a Family Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in delivering our therapeutic programme. Working alongside the Therapeutic Programme Manager and Family Caseworker, you will help plan, prepare and facilitate meaningful therapeutic sessions for children and their families. This may include leading group sessions supported by Teaching Assistants or collaborating with teaching staff involved in each child’s care.

The Bishop's Office staff team comprises the Bishop's Chaplain, the Bishop's Adviser, the Executive Assistant, the Diary and Hospitality Manager, and the Correspondence and Administrative Assistant.

The team is based in the delightful surroundings of The Old Deanery in the City of London close to St Paul's Cathedral. The Old Deanery contains the offices of the Bishop of London and the Archdeacons of London, Charing Cross and Hackney and the staff work together to ensure a warm and generous welcome to all visitors.
There will be some flexibility to work remotely but because of the nature of the role please expect to work from The Old Deanery for the majority of the time.

Policy & Public Affairs Intern

• Working with the communications team, help to develop content to communicate key messages, including webinars, podcasts, newsletter content and social media.  

Public Affairs  

• Develop a database of contacts and stakeholders to help communicate our key messages.  

• Represent the BES, alongside other members of the Policy & External Affairs team, at meetings with external partners, workshops, parliamentary receptions and conferences, building relationships and forging effective partnerships.  

• Help with policy event management including policy roundtables, expert workshops, policy training and other online and in-person events.   

Support   

• Provide support to the BES Policy Committee and our national Policy Groups in England, Wales and Scotland. This includes organising meetings, as well as producing relevant papers, agendas and minutes.

The Role

As our Head of Fundraising & Business Development, you will lead efforts to secure and diversify funding, building a sustainable resource base to support our global mission.

Leading the Fundraising and Business Development Team, you will drive the implementation of our resource mobilisation strategy, focusing on increasing non-ODA income and expanding flexible and programmatic funding.

This is a pivotal role in our Campaigns and Communications Team, reporting to the Head of Campaigns and Communications. About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Mentor to join our team based in RBKC to support our residents who have multiple and complex needs which could include mental health, substance use, homelessness, and/or offending backgrounds. You will support in providing our residents with the support needed to help them overcome their personal barriers, and achieve their goals in a person centred approach. You will work within a residential setting, creating a safe and comfortable space which our residents can call their homes during their time within the service.

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Create tailored support plans through one to one sessions, group sessions, and multi agency meetings
• Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to their needs
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular welfare checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies

Key Purpose / WHY?

The Carers Services Manager will play a vital role in leading a team to assist unpaid carers to connect with their communities and access the support they need within Herefordshire. The role will support the Herefordshire team, who deliver the ‘what matters’ assessment to carers and provide bespoke, person-centered information, advice and guidance to people accessing our services. Support includes but is not limited to; one-to-one support, events and activities, as well as signposting and referring to relevant agencies for additional support helping people on their caring journey. The role will work alongside internal teams and external partners to create community connections, develop an outreach support program, linking people to community resources with a focus on preventing the need for escalation to statutory services.

Key accountabilities & responsibilities

1. Service Leadership and Delivery

· Oversee day to day delivery of our commissioned Information, Advice and Guidance service for unpaid Carers in Herefordshire

· Facilitate the application, review and distribution of small grants to unpaid carers across the region as required

· Monitor service quality and delivery and report monthly Key Performance Indicators and quarterly monitoring reports to Local Authority Commissioners. Ensure reporting demonstrates the scale, impact, and quality of our services.

· Meet with commissioners to review service performance quarterly

· Ensure the service is visible and accessible to carers from all communities

· Support carer self-identification and address barriers to engagement, including those faced by underrepresented groups of carers

· Help raise the profile and recognition of TuVida to assist with recruitment, service-user and partner engagement and financial sustainability by contributing to social media presence and the website

2. Service Development

· Work collaboratively with senior colleagues, identifying opportunities for sustainable growth, and working to execute commercial opportunities, including

supporting and/or leading on tendering,

· Bidding, and negotiating new business as well as business retention strategies and mobilisation of new business.

3. Team Management

· Lead and develop a team to deliver person-centered outcomes for unpaid carers across Herefordshire providing practical support and guidance as required

· Provide exemplary leadership and management for the team, including regular team meetings, 121’s and objective setting, caseload management, performance reviews and promoting professional development and well-being

· Create development plans for team members, identifying training needs and growth opportunities within the team and wider organisation

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with the Head of Leisure, you will take ownership of promoting Enable’s Leisure sites and facilities, driving both revenue growth and brand recognition. The service supports long term street homelessness and have faced significant challenges including with their mental health, substance use, and alcohol dependency, and struggled to sustain engagement with support services. That's why they're here, to make a change and gain the support they need to enable greater independence and recovery.

In this role, you will identify individual resident needs, and provide person centred, tailored support to residents to help them overcome their personal challenges and achieve their goals. You will do this through a combination of producing tailored support plans, activities, and partnership working. You will play a crucial role in continuing the high quality support which is provided during the day, ensuring a safe, respectful, and responsive environment for residents. You will be expected to remain awake, alert, accessible, and actively engaged throughout the shift. There is a focus on welfare checks, providing resident support, and completing administration tasks, ensuring clear handovers are prepared for the day staff and managers. 

You will support us continue to work in a trauma informed way, and create a psychologically informed environment, which supports us in creating a safe, respectful, and responsive environment which puts our people and communities at the forefront. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support residents who may be facing challenges through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins.

• Monitoring residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular welfare checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies.
• Complete all routine night duties and any tasks handed over by the day shift or service manager. Prepare regular handovers for the day staff.
• Planning activities to engage residents with other people, communities, and opportunities during the evening which may include movie nights and games nights.
• Be a valued and reliable member of the team, completing handovers for day colleagues for a seamless service.

Our residents are at the forefront of our service delivery, so building trusting and professional relationships is key. Teamwork is essential and having previous knowledge of the needs our residents may have. Each support plan is tailored to the individual, so you'll help deliver care that truly meets their needs. . A self motivated individual who can stay engaged during the shift, able to be proactive in managing your own time during busy or quiet periods to ensure productivity. You will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and will have alignment with our SIG values.
