At Single Homeless Project (SHP), our Lewisham Vulnerable Adults Accommodation Service (LVAAS) provides safe accommodation and specialist support for adults experiencing multiple disadvantage, including rough sleeping, mental ill-health, substance use, offending, street activity, antisocial behaviour and exclusion from essential services. As Team Manager, you will play a key role in helping the service remain steady, responsive and ambitious for people who may have been let down by systems before.

Working closely with the Service Manager, you will support the day to day leadership of the service, guiding frontline staff, volunteers and peer mentors to deliver support that is trauma-informed, strengths-based and focused on recovery, safety and move on. You will help maintain clear standards across safeguarding, risk, housing management, support planning, partnership working and service performance, while creating a team culture where staff feel equipped, accountable and able to do challenging work well.

This is a varied and purposeful leadership role, with space to shape practice, strengthen partnerships across the Lewisham pathway and contribute to continuous service improvement. About you:

• You bring experience of leading, supervising or coordinating staff in supported housing, homelessness, health, social care or a similarly complex frontline setting.
• You understand that people’s lives do not fit neatly into boxes, and you are confident supporting teams to work with trauma, mental ill-health, substance use, rough sleeping, offending and complex risk.
• You lead with both heart and backbone — able to support, coach and encourage staff while holding clear standards around safeguarding, housing management, recording and service delivery.
• You can stay calm and purposeful when situations escalate, helping others think clearly, respond safely and keep the person at the centre of the work.
• You know that no service can do this work alone, and you are confident building strong relationships with partners, commissioners, statutory services and community organisations to create better routes forward for clients.

Job Purpose

To lead and oversee the delivery of TLC: Talk, Listen, Change’s charitable income generation and fundraising function, driving sustainable income growth through a diverse portfolio of opportunities including commissioning, grant applications, charitable trusts and foundations and fundraising activity. The Head of Development will carry out a mixed role, primarily consisting of informing the strategy, supervising the team and supporting them to secure income - while also directly creating some high-value / high-stakes submissions themselves. The role will play a key part in shaping and delivering the organisation’s growth ambitions, ensuring a strong and balanced pipeline across statutory, commissioned and voluntary income streams. As part of TLC’s Senior Leadership Team, the postholder will act as a senior advisor on charitable income generation opportunities and contribute to the wider strategic direction of the organisation. 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Contribution

•  Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team of TLC: Talk, Listen, Change, contributing to organisational strategy, growth and long-term sustainability.
• Work alongside the Group Director of Partnerships and Development and other senior leaders to shape and deliver TLC’s development and charitable income generation strategy.
• Act as a senior advisor on development, funding and growth of charitable income sources for the organisation.
• Take a lead role in fostering a culture of ambition, collaboration and continuous improvement. 

Development and Income Generation

• Lead the team to deliver focused and successful development activity across TLC, ensuring a strong and sustainable pipeline of opportunities across: Tenders / commissioning (including pre-market engagement such as soft market testing, actual submissions including PQQs, ITTs, framework applications and presentations / interviews) Charitable trusts and foundations, Grants, Fundraising, Corporate relationships
• Work closely with our: Group Head of Marketing and Communications to create and run exciting, engaging campaigns and projects which grow awareness of and support for TLC, ultimately leading to increased income, Director of Finance To ensure budgets are accurate and bids appropriately costed, Director and Heads of Services To ensure we can deliver safely, securely and effectively,  Director of Partnerships and Development To ensure strategic alignment and relationships.
• Ensure a detailed understanding of all tender specifications including a thorough assessment of the implications and requirements of TLC within each opportunity.
• Ensure all submissions are high quality, aligned to TLC values and priorities.
• Work closely with service leads and partnerships colleagues to identify, scope and develop new opportunities. 

Leadership and Management

• Provide strong leadership to the Development team, including line management of Development Managers.
• Support a high-performing, collaborative team culture aligned to TLC behaviours and values.
• Ensure effective performance management, supervision, and development of staff (including one-to-ones, appraisals and team meetings).

Performance, Planning and Delivery

• Lead the development and delivery of a clear development plan aligned to organisational strategy.
• Monitor and report on development and fundraising performance, ensuring a data informed approach to decision-making.
• Provide delegated budget management for development and fundraising activity.
• Ensure smooth transition from development activity to service mobilisation, working closely with operational teams.

External Relationships and Profile

• Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, funders and partners with regard to charitable income generation opportunities.
• Represent TLC at external forums, networks and events, contributing to sector influence and profile. Governance and Ways of Working

Job Title: Duty Independent Gender Violence Advocate (Duty IGVA)

Location: The Gaia Centre (Lambeth, London)
Salary: £23,085.69 per annum (Inclusive of London Weighting, which may not be applicable depending on your home location and any agreed permanent homeworking arrangement)

Contract type: Part Time, Permanent 

Hours: 30 hours per week. As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota. Operating hours of the service 8am- 6pm Monday- Friday with the expectation to work on some days 8- 4pm or 10- 6pm to cover duty shifts.

We are recruiting for a Duty Independent Gender Violence Advocate (IGVA) who will be working closely with survivors of domestic, and other gender-based abuse to provide high quality independent support, guidance and advice to survivors across all risk levels and their children.

In this role the Duty IGVA is a part of a busy team. The Duty IGVA will be the first point of contact for survivors who have been referred to the Gaia Centre by other professionals. The Duty IGVA also will be responsible for processing any self-referrals of individuals contacting the service and wishing to access support. The Duty IGVA will be responsible for responding to daily enquiries from partnership agencies, public and impacted individuals over the phone and email.

In some circumstances the Duty IGVA will be contacting survivors directly to assess their level of risk and needs to ensure eligibility. The Duty IGVA will be responsible for carrying out and implementing safety plans and needs assessments. The Duty IGVA will ensure an effective handover of the case to the relevant team for ongoing support.

The Duty IGVA will empower survivors by providing them with emotional, practical and personal welfare support. The Duty IGVA will ensure that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options. The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors.

The job involves informing survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety. The jobalso  involves working in a fast-paced environment.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.

We have a Housing Management Apprenticeship opportunity available for an 18 month fixed term contract in Bristol.

What you’ll be doing

Working as a Housing Management Apprentice Worker, you will complete practical work experience and academic learning to build the knowledge, skills and experience to develop a career in the housing and homelessness sector.

As an Apprentice Worker you will:

• Work as part of a team to support with general housing management and operations of accommodation services.
• Work alongside colleagues, students and volunteers working together directly with residents to support and empower people to recover from homelessness and rebuild their lives.
• Develop the skills to support housing and tenancy management functions and assist with lettings and property maintenance processes.  
• Supporting with void management, repairs reporting, rent and arrears processes.
• Gain practical experience and the skills required for future employment in housing management.
• Learn how to deliver day-to-day services while collaborating with colleagues and external partners.
• Have opportunities to shadow experienced staff and receive on-the-job training.
• Complete the practical element of your apprenticeships with meetings and event attendance as well as formal learning while completing a Level Housing and Property Management Qualification
• Complete on and off the job learning, shadowing and development opportunities.
• Receive support and supervision from an Apprenticeship Advisor as well as a direct line manager, every step of the way.

Where you’ll work

Our level 2 pathway provides semi-independent accommodation and housing related support to people who may have complex needs, including multiple challenges such as physical and mental health issues, substance use and a history of trauma. We are dedicated to providing a safe, high quality and inclusive service to people while they are living in supported accommodation, and a positive move-on into independent housing.

Our residents are male and female living in shared and self-contained properties.

What we’re looking for

Our Apprentice scheme is specifically designed for people with lived experience, and we can only offer places to the people the programme is designed for.

You may have personally experienced homelessness (spent time sleeping rough, or lived in a hostel, refuge or supported accommodation), you may have experienced domestic abuse, mental health struggles, substance misuse problems or had contact with the criminal justice system and have used recovery services as a result.

We’re looking for people with motivation to build a career in housing and homelessness, who can bring:

• Learning and reflections gained through lived experience and recovery.
• Ability to demonstrate how personal lived experience has shaped your approach to support and wellbeing.
• Good communication and listening skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
• Some experience through volunteering or working in a similar setting.
• Basic admin and IT skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.

Founded in 2012, Bristol Avon Rivers Trust works across the Bristol Avon catchment to restore rivers for wildlife, people and the local economy.

About the Role

Help shape the future Bristol Avon Rivers Trust (BART).

This is much more than a fundraising role.

You'll have the opportunity to design and lead BART's long-term fundraising strategy, creating entirely new income streams that will support restoration of rivers, education, community engagement, project development and organisational resilience.

What You'll Be Doing

You will:

• Develop and implement BART's Fundraising and Philanthropy Strategy.
• Diversify unrestricted income from individuals, trusts and foundations, philanthropy, corporate partnerships, legacies and other voluntary income streams.
• Develop a compelling organisational Case for Support aligned to BART's Five-Year Strategy.
• Work with the CEO and Leadership Team to establish fundraising priorities and KPIs.
• Lead fundraising campaigns, communications, and supporter engagement initiatives.
• Manage and develop BART's supporter journey using our Beacon CRM system.
• Work closely with our Trust Administrator, who provides administrative support to the organisation, including support for CRM administration and fundraising processes.

About You

We're looking for someone who is ambitious, entrepreneurial and excited by creating something new.

You'll ideally have:

• At least five years' experience in fundraising or philanthropy.
• Experience developing fundraising strategies and delivering income growth.
• Knowledge of trusts, foundations, philanthropy, individual giving or corporate fundraising.
• Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Strong planning and project management skills.
• Experience using CRM systems (Beacon experience welcomed but not essential).
• Excellent written communication, storytelling and bid-writing skills.
• The ability to translate complex environmental work into compelling fundraising propositions.
• A passion for rivers and their recovery and creating meaningful impact.

Bristol Avon Rivers Trust

The Advocacy Director holds primary responsibility for delivering ECC’s advocacy strategy internationally and within the UK. This strategy aims to ensure states’ legal obligations on casualty recording are recognised and upheld globally, and that casualty data is used effectively to shape policy responses to conflict.

ECC’s advocacy work is focused primarily within the human rights and humanitarian multilateral fora in Geneva, but also incorporates work with New York-based UN targets within the security field. In parallel, as a UK-based organisation, we seek to influence domestic decision-makers including those within the FCDO, MoD, and parliament.

The Advocacy Director will be ECC's most senior external face after the Executive Director. As a key figure within a small organisation, the Advocacy Director will lead advocacy activity directly, building and stewarding relationships with state delegations, UK parliamentarians, UN officials, and civil society partners. The role requires exceptional political judgment, fluency across both multilateral and Westminster environments, and the credibility to represent ECC at the most senior national and international levels.

Note: This role is being advertised at the same time as the Executive Director role, as both functions were previously filled by the same person. This is an exciting opportunity for a new leader to guide the organisation through its next phase of development, building from a position of strength. The organisation is in the first year of a clear and ambitious three-year strategy, with a strong core team of staff and a healthy financial position.

The outgoing Executive Director was previously also the organisation’s Advocacy Director, and continued to deliver both functions within one role. For this reason the Board of Trustees is advertising the position in two configurations. Applicants are welcome to express an interest in either:

• Option A — Part-time Executive Director. A 0.6 FTE part-time post which is a leadership and management role only, and does not include delivering the advocacy activities of the organisation. These will be undertaken by a separate part-time Advocacy Director, who carries the advocacy responsibilities covered by the associated Advocacy Director job description.

• Option B — Full-time Executive Director. A single full-time post in which the successful candidate takes on both the part-time Executive Director role and the responsibilities of the part-time Advocacy Director role being advertised concurrently. The successful candidate must meet the person specification requirements of BOTH roles.

South East London Mind's Queer Minds Programme delivers peer-led mental health support for LGBTQIA+ people (aged 18+) in Lambeth and Southwark through two monthly peer support groups, a trans drop-in, events with partner organisations, psychoeducational workshops, and outreach activities.

The Programme Lead and Facilitator is responsible for coordinating and delivering the various strands of the programme, ensuring all services meet the contractual obligations of its funders. The role requires someone who is forward-thinking and adaptable, proactive in responding to the evolving needs of the group’s members and wider LGBTQIA+ community. They should be experienced in co-creative approaches to mental health and project management, working closely with programme participants to shape varied and meaningful initiatives. They will also bring creativity and flexibility, ensuring services remain impactful and grounded in lived experience while seeking relevant partnerships to enrich the programme’s offerings.

They will work collaboratively with participants, sessional facilitators, volunteers, community groups, and partners to deliver supportive spaces that foster connection, shared experience, and improved mental health and autonomy. The role includes building and maintaining strong partnerships, developing grassroots collaborations, and identifying outreach opportunities to increase the programme’s reach and profile. The post holder will work closely with the Peer Support Manager to deliver against objectives, maintain stakeholder relationships, and meet reporting requirements.

As an integral member of the fundraising team, the Fundraising Administrator will support the delivery of a range of successful fundraising activity based around the centre, in order to maximise income for Maggie’s.   

As Fundraising Administrator, you will welcome and support visitors within the centre in their fundraising for Maggie’s as well as in the local community and ensuring they are motivated, informed and supported.  

This is a demanding role in a fast-paced environment where priorities change frequently.  

There will be a requirement to work irregular hours as well as some local travel.
