The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We have c.£145m committed now to projects that are already underway and aim to commit and spend another c.£80m by 2029. It really matters that this money is spent effectively: every project we complete gives us more information on what works to prevent violence affecting young people. We’re looking for a new Assistant Director for Finance and Planning who will be accountable for the financial planning to ensure this money is spent well and implementing processes to ensure we get full value from the endowment.
Key responsibilities

Job Title: CEO
Salary: Actual salary is £36,000 per year. (FTE £45,000)
Contract/ Hours: 4 days per week / 0.8FTE. The normal working week is 30 hours.
Annual Leave: FTE annual leave entitlement is 23 days pro rata plus public and bank holidays.
Pension: Pension contributions of 5% per month will be paid by NUM and 3% per month will be deducted from salary.
Base/ Location: Must be UK-based. NUM is a national organisation with workspaces in Manchester and Glasgow and CEO will be required to travel throughout the UK and internationally.

National Ugly Mugs (NUM) was established in 2012 as a pilot project of the UK Network of Sex Work Projects. It is now the largest sex worker-serving violence prevention and survivor support service in the UK, with a mandate to ‘end all forms of violence against sex workers.’ All of our services are delivered with, by, and for sex workers and our work is grounded within three principles: 'Sex Workers' First; 'Quality Support'; and 'Learning and Innovation'. We support over 9,800 members, 85% of whom are active adult industry workers, with the remainder comprising a range of frontline practitioners and delivery partners. Role Purpose:
The main purpose of the CEO is to provide inspirational leadership to NUM and ensure long term sustainability through innovation, strategic planning, effective governance, funding, and sound delivery of services. The CEO will take a lead role in the national policy advocacy work NUM carries out to achieve its objectives.

Intelligence Analyst (Project Officer)

You will be part of a cross-functional team that is responsible for identifying relevant data or trends from our web scraping partners, our own data warehouse (TA Hub), and other intelligence sources that can be used in investigation and ultimately utilised by our commercial partners and law enforcement agencies.
Human traffickers leave traces in the recruitment of victims, the exploitation of those victims in supply chains, and in the flow of money. This role will focus on the latter two areas, using data to identify opportunities to disrupt criminal money flows, and assess human trafficking risks in supply chains. Our intelligence products facilitate partner organisations to act in terms of proactively mitigating risk, safeguarding, asset freezing, and ultimately prosecution of offenders.
This role will have a particular focus on understanding supply chains and using intelligence to understand how traffickers infiltrate legitimate businesses. Understanding how human trafficking and modern slavery fits into a wider narrative on human rights will be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
· Analysing and improving human trafficking data collection, visualisation, and dissemination.
· Assisting with the analysis of gathered intelligence, transforming data into actionable insights, and strategic recommendations for businesses, as well as banks.
· Collaborating with global businesses to assess their human rights risk, from a human trafficking perspective, and deliver intelligence-led advice and expertise.
· Collaborating with financial institutions, investigating the relationships between illicit transactions and human trafficking to enhance the possibility of prosecution.
· Working closely with our Prevention Team to support the development of highly relevant, specific campaign content that reaches vulnerable, at-risk communities on the ground with safety information to avoid harm/exploitation.

Criminal Justice Drug and Alcohol Worker

The Role
Based within the Northallerton Hub, and taking a multi-disciplinary approach, working with partner agencies such as Police, Probation, Prisons and other stakeholders, you will provide a targeted approach for people using the North Yorkshire Horizons service, from harm reduction, brief interventions through to structured treatment, ensuring that every recovery journey is tailored to each individual's priorities. This ambition will be achieved through working across a variety of criminal justice settings, such as probation offices and the secure estate.
In addition to delivering a range of PSI interventions, the post holder will also facilitate court imposed Drug Rehabilitation Requirements (DRR’s) and Alcohol Treatment Requirements (ATR’s) and oversee the prescribed treatment for a caseload of people within the Criminal Justice system.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with Police, Probation, Prisons and other appropriate partners and stakeholders within office based, community and outreach settings.

About the Role
We are now recruiting for a dedicated Through-the-Gate Project Worker to join our Criminal Justice and Detention Services team. This role will provide specialist support to migrant women being released from prison or detention into the London area and beyond.
The Through-the-Gate Project Worker will act as the main point of contact for referrals for women being released from prison or immigration removal centres. The role will involve managing a caseload of up to 15 migrant women who are in contact with the criminal justice system and / or under immigration restrictions, helping them to prepare for release and supporting them to resettle in the community afterwards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with statutory, partner and other voluntary organisations to maximise provision of support for women being released from prison/detention. The post-holder will also work as part of Hibiscus’ Safe Homes for Migrant Women project team, to improve provision of safe and secure housing for Black and minoritised migrant women.

About You
We are particularly keen to attract talent from Black and minoritised communities and those with lived experience of immigration and/or the criminal justice system.

We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive the next phase of the The Area Leaders Programme (ALP), scaling from a successful pilot in four Local Authorities to broader implementation across England and Wales.

The global and anonymous nature of the internet and digital communication presents numerous significant opportunities for wildlife criminals and challenges for those dedicated to stopping them. IFAW pursues a multipronged strategy to tackle wildlife cybercrime that includes working with policymakers, law enforcement agencies, the private sector, civil society organisations, and the general public in order to disrupt the ability of criminals to use the internet and its support systems for the trafficking of wildlife throughout the supply chain. By reducing incentives to participate in the illegal wildlife trade, IFAW improves the conservation status of wildlife in priority habitats and the welfare of individual animals while supporting the development of international best practices in a large, complex and constantly evolving sector.
The Program Manager, Wildlife Cybercrime will lead IFAW’s sub-program focusing on wildlife cybercrime and deliver its strategy, under the Wildlife Crime strategy. The position will contribute to IFAW remaining a recognised leader and convener in this field and strengthening IFAW conservation programs’ impacts as well as programs implemented by governments, NGOs or other organisations, such as the Coalition to end wildlife trafficking online. The position will provide support to program and country project managers and staff and will be responsible for ensuring both internal and external projects are implemented in compliance with the highest standards and are in line with IFAW internal procedures and with those of any external funding partners.
In recognition that this is a niche and growth area for IFAW, the Program Manager, Wildlife Cybercrime will actively participate in the identification and winning of new funding opportunities and in generating and participating in connections with other potential funders or supporters as required.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IFAW’s sub-program focusing on wildlife cybercrime, including but not limited to developing and implementing strategies, contributing and reporting against IFAW programmatic objectives, expanding and strengthening external networks, coordinating cross-regional work, and managing and delivering both internal and external projects to a high standard, according to work plans and institutional strategies, on time and within budget.
- Ensure IFAW remains a recognised leader in wildlife cybercrime by ensuring the organisation's work evolves to reflect new challenges and opportunities for growth through innovation and collaboration.
- To act as a thought leader for IFAW and contribute to the development and utilisation of international best practices for tackling wildlife cybercrime.
- Provide support to the strategic direction and evolution of the Wildlife Crime Program, including but not limited to the identification, winning, and implementation of new projects.
- Identify and create opportunities for cross-programmatic work and collaborate to ensure IFAW priorities are considered in the policy sphere.
- Act as a spokesperson for the cybercrime portfolio, representing the organization to, and building positive relationships with, NGO’s, politicians, Government officials, business representatives, other key contacts, and all media platforms.
- Oversee the development and utilization of IFAW internal Monitoring and Evaluation systems to record data from wildlife cybercrime activities.
- Work with Institutional Giving, other program relevant colleagues, and Development to identify and win funding opportunities.
- In collaboration with IFAW Financial colleagues, utilize IFAW tools and systems to manage budgets as necessary, including having oversight and authority over the Global Cybercrime budget.
- Work closely with IFAW Communications team to develop and implement a project Communications Plan that communicates the full range of IFAW activities relating to wildlife cybercrime.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- BS/BA degree preferred. MS/MA degree in biological, social science, public policy, economics, forensic science, criminology or related field ideal.
- High level of professionalism – the mix of dependability, initiative, industry, and ability to make sound judgments within agreed guidelines that will earn respect and achieve success in chaotic, fast-moving, and high-pressure environments. Ability to both work unsupervised and as part of a team, as well as manage and mentor a team, including without direct authority, to meet deadlines and deal with a demanding and complex workload, and flexible working hours.
- Demonstrated experience leading a dispersed team and influencing activities without direct management authority. Preferred minimum of 5 years of working experience in project management.
- Experience handling several projects at any one given time across multiple time zones, including scheduling and budgeting, ability to plan effectively, and attention to detail.
- Preferred minimum 2 years of working experience on wildlife crime and, if possible, including wildlife cyber-enabled crime-specific issues. Expertise in OSINT, digital forensics, and the management of sensitive information, including e-evidence and collaboration with law enforcement, are a plus.
- A demonstrable network or evidence of collaborative working with other NGOs in conservation, animal welfare, organised crime, or corruption-related communities. Existing relationships with other key stakeholders in conservation, such as private sector, law enforcement agencies, IGOs, and governmental institutions, are a plus.
- Strong writing, media, and verbal communication skills, including developing professional reports and grant applications to funding partners. Demonstrable experience participating and speaking at public events and in the media. Track records in successfully leading restricted funding proposals.
- Team player who understands when and how to involve senior management in making decisions and understands and can work within a matrix management system.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Fluency and competency in any other language is a plus.

Together Women Leeds provides holistic wraparound support to women and girls and specialises in supporting women involved with the CJS, through 1:1 Keywork, group programmes and access to specialist gender-specific support via TW Women’s Centres.

Experience of working in the women’s sector or the criminal justice system is desirable, but not essential – most importantly we’re looking for an outstanding manager.
At Together Women, staff wellbeing is a priority. With the support of a Deputy Manager, you will ensure our talented staff team are effectively managed, supported and encouraged to develop within their roles, enabling them to provide high quality, trauma-responsive support.
You will be responsible for the management of a range of services, ensuring high quality standards are consistently met and partnerships are established and maintained. You will lead the strategic development and operational effectiveness of numerous services, including the West Yorkshire women’s contract supporting other districts. The Leeds centre is funded via a range of commissioners both statutory and non-statutory, and you will lead on the contract and performance management including relationships with commissioners. Alongside the Director of Services and wider management team you will also contribute to the effective leadership of the organisation, ensuring our operational and strategic objectives are met.
Key Accountabilities:
Service Delivery and Management
- Lead the operational management of TW services in Leeds ensuring intensive high-quality, trauma responsive support is provided to women and girls accessing the services
- Develop and manage a service plan for Leeds that incorporates key milestones and ensures delivery of project outputs and outcomes
- Monitor delegated budget responsibility, ensuring that the services operate within the agreed budget
Staff Management
- Line manage direct reports and ensure that all staff receive regular support, supervision and performance review, case management, training and development in line with TW policies and procedures
- Deliver team meetings, reflective practice, and staff learning and development opportunities
- Effectively manage a dispersed team ensuring team cohesion and consistency in approach and practice.
Communication/Contracts and Partnerships
- Take overall responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective partnerships and referral pathways
- Lead on the contract and performance management including all relationships with commissioners
- Organise and attend external meetings/events as appropriate, actively participating and disseminating information to colleagues. This includes sitting on steering groups and attending multi-agency panels to discuss the needs and challenges facing TW customer group, develop robust sector-wide responses, inform, and improve internal services to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Design and deliver training for professionals in the region to improve responses to women and girls affected by the social justice system
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Ensure that all project staff maintain accurate, confidential customer records, following TW policies and procedures, and contribute to the maintenance of the projects’ monitoring and recording systems
- Produce monitoring and evaluation reports in line with funder and other key stakeholder requirements
Funding
- Identify relevant fundraising opportunities and support TW senior management team to prepare funding applications, identify commissioning opportunities, which support the long-term sustainability of existing and new services
- Attend meetings with potential new funders to secure new funding streams, ensuring that the project outcomes are achievable and measurable
- Work with colleagues within TW and/or external partners to establish new services/projects when funding applications are successful
