This is an exciting time to join Dementia UK. We're making significant investment in our fundraising programme as part of an ambitious new five-year strategy, creating new manager roles that will play a pivotal part in growing sustainable income and helping more families access specialist dementia support.
As Manager, In Memory Giving, you'll lead the In Memory programme. You will deliver inspiring campaigns, appeals and experiences to reach new audiences to Dementia UK, and deliver inspiring stewardship and appeals to provide exceptional supporter experience to drive long-term sustainable income. You'll recruit and manage an In Memory Giving Executive (coming in Year 2 of the Fundraising Strategy), and work with the Legacy & In Memory Senior Manager to build a culture where people can thrive and work collaboratively across the organisation to maximise impact.
You'll bring experience of managing successful fundraising campaigns, with expertise across a range of channels and products. You'll be confident in writing operational team plans, managing annual budgets, and supporting the Legacy & In Memory Senior Manager in projecting medium and long-term income. You'll understand your audiences and know how to create sensitive and tailored campaigns to inspire action and build long term return on investment.
You'll be a collaborative manager, able to build strong relationships with the Individual Giving, Legacies & In Memory team, stakeholders across Dementia UK and with external partners. You'll be confident participating in and leading cross-organisational projects and build effective collaborative working relationships with colleagues across the charity to support in growing income for Dementia UK.
You’ll be confident in using analysis, insight and audience understanding to inform decision-making across the Legacy & In Memory team. Collating and monitoring Legacy & In Memory team performance through monthly and quarterly reporting and using this to continuously improve the programme and update senior leaders.
Most importantly, you'll be motivated by the opportunity to make a lasting difference for families affected by dementia. If you're an ambitious and collaborative manager who wants to shape the future of In Memory Giving at a growing national charity, we'd love to hear from you.
