About the role

You will be joining a friendly and face paced fundraising team. You will be responsible for;

• Cultivating and managing an existing portfolio of high-net worth individuals and charitable trusts and foundations
• Expanding the pipeline of high-net worth individuals and charitable trusts and foundations by identifying and unlocking networks across our charity, hospitals, supporters and funder communities
• Soliciting five and six figure gifts from high-net worth individuals and charitable trusts and foundations, both verbally and by creating compelling funding proposals
• Supporting the Head of Strategic Projects to identify and develop high value (six figure plus) charitable trust and foundation opportunities and bids that align with the charity's ambitions

About you

To be successful in this role you must have;

• Proven experience of securing five and six figure gifts from major donors and/or charitable trusts and foundations from first approach through to solicitation and stewardship
• Experience of fundraising within complex organisations such as the NHS, Higher Education or larger charities
• Proven experience of managing and developing high-value funder relationships
• Experience of identifying opportunities and matching donor interests with the priorities of the hospital, developing inspiring asks and proposals

About the role

We’re looking to recruit a Treasury Specialist to join our Accounting Operations team and help ensure sound controls over the income and balance sheet of the organisation that is focussed on saving the world.

As Treasury Specialist you will focus on accurately recording income, maintaining controls over bank and income control accounts as well as providing our sales ledger function. You will be involved in executing and processing foreign exchange transactions, processing income, updating daily bank reporting and short term cashflow forecasting.  You will support our Treasury Manager to monitor current account and deposit balances and ensure they remain within treasury policy limits too. You will also make sure sufficient funds are available when needed for GBP and foreign currency payments as well as oversee the sales ledger processes. In addition, you will make sure activities comply with our policies and communicate with banks regarding transaction queries. Important will be the ability to contribute with ideas for improvements in Treasury processes.

This role is an outstanding opportunity for a recent graduate eager to apply their studies in a practical, corporate setting, or someone in the early stages of their career, looking to build a career at the intersection of sustainability and corporate finance.

We’re looking for someone with:

· A strong academic grounding in sustainable finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred, but equivalent experience or academic focus at undergraduate level would also be considered.

· A strong interest in learning everything related to a Treasury Operation.

· Excellent working knowledge of Excel.

· With excellent attention to detail.

· Excellent communication, IT & interpersonal skills.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced marcomms professional to help us upscale our campaigns activity. From leading the national Tomorrow’s Engineers Week campaign and leveraging external awareness days to increasing audience engagement with our work, this is a varied role working across the marketing, communications, PR mix. Most of our campaigns are either targeted at teachers and careers leaders working in schools or at companies in engineering and technology who want to build the future talent pool.

The Capital Project Manager will be responsible for leading a £4-5M project that will build a new Cattery facility at our Battersea Old Windsor site. The role will oversee all aspects of the project to ensure the capital project is completed on time, within budget and to the required standards and design. This will include working with colleagues in Animal Care, Infrastructure and Income Generation teams to ensure the project has appropriate funding, the design and build of the cattery meets Battersea’s strategic and operational requirements and that the operational impact of the construction is effectively managed to minimise the impact to dogs and cats across our centres during the works.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a key member of the senior

We are seeking a well organised and highly motivated Community Archivist to deliver this hugely significant project.

Champs Camp was the first successful Black boxing gym in Britain, with Phil Martin, its founder, the UK’s first Black boxing trainer, manager and promoter. Martin revolutionised British boxing during the 1980s and 1990s, introducing new ways of training and transforming the lives of thousands of young men and boys across Greater Manchester in the process. He deliberately challenged the public association of Moss Side with guns and gangs, helping to produce UK and world champions and make Manchester a centre of the sport.

This project will preserve and make publicly accessible the records of a hugely significant but largely unknown episode in UK Black history. Its legacy will be the preservation of a unique and extensive archive of film, photography, and posters, the collection of a wide-ranging oral history, and the production of a permanent digital archive, accessible to anyone including educators, activists and the wider community. 

This role is funded by The National Lottery Fund grant and is run by a partnership of the Moss Side Boxing and Athletics Association (MSBAA) and Manchester Histories, with support from staff at the University of Manchester in History and the Research Data Management Support Service. Robertson Bell is exclusively partnering with Social Interest Group (SIG) to recruit an Interim Finance Director on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is a pivotal senior leadership role within a dynamic, mission-driven organisation delivering life-changing support services across housing, mental health, addiction recovery, and complex needs.

With the Group’s new five-year strategy recently launched, this role will play a vital part in shaping and delivering the organisation’s financial approach to support its long-term ambitions. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with both the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board, the Interim Finance Director will provide visible, robust financial leadership while safeguarding the long-term financial sustainability of the Group.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing robust, strategic financial advice to the CEO, SLT, and Board, ensuring sound financial insight underpins all key decisions.
• Driving the development and implementation of short, medium, and long-term financial strategies aligned to the Group’s new five-year strategic plan.
• Ensuring effective management of corporate risks, working through the Director of Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit, and reporting to the Board as required.
• Acting as the SLT lead for contract oversight and procurement, ensuring appropriate financial governance, pricing models, and value-for-money outcomes.
• Providing clear leadership to the finance team, working closely with the Head of Finance (direct report), and supporting the ongoing development of a high-performing finance function.
• Taking ownership of finance system optimisation, budgeting, scenario planning, and overseeing both internal and external audits.
• Managing legal, insurance, and risk arrangements, including acting as the lead for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning.
• Supporting the implementation and delivery of SIG’s environmental strategy, embedding sustainable practices across the Group’s operations.

The successful candidate will bring:

• Proven experience in leading organisational change within the charity (ideally social care) or housing sectors, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
• Strong cashflow management expertise, ideally gained in environments with high staffing costs and low margins.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence Boards and committees, with a clear articulation of financial risks and strategy.
• A balance of strategic vision and hands-on financial leadership, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering cross-functional engagement.
• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

In the role of Service Director responsibilities include:

• Work closely with the Executive Director and other Service Directors to develop and enhance our services, ensuring residents receive tailored support to achieve their goals.
• Oversee housing management income and revenue streams, optimising rent collection and minimising voids.
• Lead the delivery of commissioned services, ensuring local teams work effectively and achieve impactful client outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, safeguarding, and health & safety, maintaining a culture of best practice.

In this role you will work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London, on site within your region, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.

• Deep understanding of best practices in services for vulnerable adults, with a commitment to learning and improvement.
• Motivational leadership, driving a culture of best practice which ensures the safety and wellbeing of clients and staff.
