What you'll do:
- Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/ Manager.

About the role:
As an IDVA you will be:
- Providing a pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic violence and abuse through on-going risk assessment, individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
- Working with victims of domestic abuse to assist them in accessing services to keep them and their family safe.
- Developing individual safety plans to meet client's needs as identified in the needs and risk assessment.
- Providing advocacy, emotional and practical support and information to victims including exploration of legal and civil options, housing, health and finance and support clients through the criminal justice system.
- Supporting the empowerment of the client and assist them in recognising the features and dynamics of domestic abuse present in their situation.
- Working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.
You will need:
- A good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- To understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children.
- Experience of managing a complex caseload, able to prioritise work and deal with competing demands demonstrating an organised and methodical approach to work.
- Experience of working within a multi-agency and legislative framework have strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.

Victim Support has been commissioned to provide a new, bespoke service in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire which will provide support to those affected by a recent high profile police incident including fraud and other crime types. Some of the individuals and families affected may also need support with the impact of different trauma responses.

About the role:
As a Caseworker within this service, you will;
- Support people who are likely to be impacted by the effects of bereavement as well as being victims of crime
- Make calls to people referred to the service primarily by the police and our dedicated support line
- Assess their needs and any risks and agree a support plan
- Make regular contact with the individuals either by phone, video call or face to face as agreed with them
- Record actions and information on our case management system
- Be able to talk to them about the Victims' Code of Practice and the Criminal Justice System
- Liaise with the police and other statutory and voluntary sector agencies where required

You will be a team player, be keen to learn new skills and have a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be located with a partner organisation rooted in one of four locations across the UK, Nottingham, Greater Manchester, Lambeth, and Newham. You will bring community organising into the work of the organisation and place it right at the centre of the Power to Prosper programme.
Power to Prosper is a partnership project between The Runnymede Trust and New Economics Foundation aimed at tackling the underlying causes of poverty, inequality, and problem debt in the United Kingdom. The project recognises that the existing economic system leads to profound inequalities that disproportionately impact marginalised groups, including Black and minority ethnic communities, single-parent families, and households with disabled members. The programme will also take an intersectional lens with a strong emphasis on race equity.
This work will involve working with NEF and Runnymede teams to listen to people about the causes and potential solutions of inequality, poverty, and problem debt and to equip people that are most impacted with the skills to act together at a local, regional, and national level to address those issues. The successful candidate will report to a Community Organiser. The post sits in the Campaigns and Engagement Team at the New Economics Foundation, and you will work closely with colleagues at the Runnymede Trust. You must have a demonstrable commitment to anti-racism and have a track record of working with impacted groups with a good understanding of the wider context that causes inequality.

What is the role about?
A new project to support survivors of Domestic Abuse named 'SAFER' means we have a vacancy in the Administration Team. Undertaking a range of administration tasks to support the Kent Team in their day to day operations helping people affected by crime. Campbell Rd Young Peoples service provides support and housing for 55 young people in Tower Hamlets that are either leaving care of affected by youth homelessness. The Support Worker role will be to manage a caseload of approx 7-10 young people .You will be expected to deliver positive outcomes for all our young people and support them to reach independence, keep safe and maintain their tenancy's. Aside from support workers delivering support there is a strong element of housing management associated wit this role, for example managing rents, raising/monitoring repairs and health and safety.
This role requires a valid Right to Work for the UK as Look Ahead are not a sponsoring organisation.
What you'll do:

- Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers
