Summary of the role:

The Country Finance Manager (CFM) will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all financial management, compliance, and risk control functions for Muslim Aid’s Sudan Country Program. The role ensures financial integrity, accountability, and effective stewardship of donor resources in alignment with Muslim Aid’s global policies, donor regulations, and Sudanese legal frameworks.

As a key member of the Country Leadership Team (CLT), the CFM will contribute to strategic decision-making, institutional strengthening, and the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective humanitarian and development programming.

About the Role:

1. Oversee the implementation of robust financial systems, controls, and reporting mechanisms.
2. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both HQ and donors.
3. Oversee cash flow management, fund requests, and banking operations to maintain optimal liquidity.
4. Ensure project financial reports for donor and partners are prepared according to donor requirements; submit reports to the regional office for review prior to submitting to the donor.
5. Coordinate with the auditors to complete required statutory audits.
6. Support Program Managers to strengthen networks in the Muslim Aid Sudan’s collaboration areas. 

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Educated to bachelor’s degree level. Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant.
2. Understanding of development programmes design, implementation, and evaluation.
3. Experience of successfully financial management and dealing with institutional donors and international donors.
4. Proven experience and knowledge of effective budgetary control and grant management.
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with people at various levels.
6. Strong and well-developed analytical skills coupled with experience of writing quality proposals and reports. Strong analytical abilities.

You will need:

• CIPD qualified level 5 or equivalent experience

About the role

As Senior Business Analyst you will help Crisis transform its supporter experience by supporting the delivery of our data workstream enabling our transition to a new Modern Data Platform alongside our migration to Microsoft Dynamics.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have experience of working with data, mapping out data flows and processes. You’ll have working knowledge of data lakes and data warehouses as well as a good understanding of data governance and policies. You’ll have excellent communication skills and able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to fully understand and document requirements. You’ll have the ability to work quickly efficiently and methodically. You’ll be a team player confident in bringing your expertise to the wider project team. Ideally, you’ll have the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis or a comparable qualification or experience.

Youth Project Worker

Transform the lives of  young people with learning disabilities and autism who are avoiding school . Use creativity, advocacy and relationship-building to help them articulate their needs, re-enter education and rebuild social connections.

You'll work with 35 young people with learning disabilities and autism in Coventry each year , helping them to:

• Articulate their needs and wishes through creative one-to-one advocacy and support
• Re-enter education in a way that works for them as complex individuals
• Re-build social skills and connections to protect their wellbeing and enrich their lives

These young people may be learning-disabled or autistic, in special or mainstream education, or not in education, employment or training (NEET). They include school avoiders, those on reduced timetables, and young people with unmet mental health needs. Without support, their outcomes are often bleak - but you can change that.

What You'll Do

You'll meet young people where they feel most comfortable - at times that suit them, using WhatsApp, Zoom, or face-to-face. Together, you'll:

• Create multimedia person-centred 'back to learning and community' plans using video, voice recording, photographs, artwork or graphics

Role Overview

IFOW are looking for an individual who can build strong programmes of activity to deliver impact in the service of a charitable mission, through strategic partnerships with academia, industry and policy.

Key Responsibilities 

• Take overall responsibility for the partnership strategy, ensuring high-quality partnerships whilst working within the Senior Leadership Team to deliver on IFOW’s strategic objectives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes

• Experience in networking and relationship building with senior executives and academics, supported by a demonstrated understanding of stakeholder management.
• Experience of engaging with UKRI or other public research funders, with a good understanding of UK research funding landscape.
• Ability to think critically about models and forms of partnership with different types of organisations, and the implications of different models.
• A track record of engaging with corporates and members, with experience of raising income through these engagements.
• Very comfortable in creating and executing an end-to-end partnership strategy.
• Experience of utilising project management software and CRM systems to drive engagement and deliver results.
• Experience working in the technology, policy or social justice environment is a plus, though not a prerequisite.
• Adept at quickly understanding organisational challenges and opportunities, and mapping this to the landscape.
