The Royal Foundation is seeking an exceptional Delivery Manager (Policy) to play a key project management role in coordinating all of United for Wildlife’s influencing and engagement priorities with policymakers.

The Delivery Manager (Policy) is a vital role that will work closely with colleagues across the programme as we deliver ambitious nature conservation initiatives. The Delivery Manager (Policy) is line-managed by the Associate Director (Policy) with accountability to the Programme Manager for adherence to organisational delivery standards, reporting, and risk management.
They will be based within the core United for Wildlife team but will work closely with other Foundation teams, Kensington Palace, and external delivery partners.

The role will be varied and wide-ranging, working with other project team members to determine project needs and key deliverables.

Core responsibilities: 

· Managing preparation of policy meetings, papers, agendas, follow-up.

· Coordinating engagement with governments and international organisations, focusing on signatories to the 2014 London Declaration and subsequent policy statements, including communications, updates, planning meetings.

· Supporting policymakers and the TRF team to develop strategic policy initiatives that are clear and implementable.

· Managing delivery of strategic policy initiatives.

General responsibilities will include:

· Establishing and overseeing the project management processes required to ensure effective delivery of projects within specific strategic areas for our policy engagement work.

· Build and maintain relationships with appropriate internal and external stakeholders, and support the day-to-day management of the stakeholder ecosystem.

· Monitoring and reporting on delivery of specific projects against agreed timelines, ensuring risks, assumptions, dependencies, and actions are identified, tracked, and resolved.

· Chairing key programme update meetings, working with senior colleagues on agendas and ensuring actions and captured and carried out.

· Assist in soliciting and compiling data/inputs for routine narrative and impact reporting internally and externally together with the wider team.

· Promoting a strong partnership/team ethos and collaborative ways of working both within the programme team and wider United for Wildlife membership.

· Undertaking other duties that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature and level of this post.

· Playing an active broader role in the programme team, working collaboratively to offer ideas on strategy and operational design.

Relevant knowledge, experience and personal qualities: 

Knowledge & Experience:

· Previous experience working in complex policy environments on issues related to nature conservation (essential).

· Knowledge and experience of project management, being directly responsible for the delivery of substantive projects (essential).

· Previous experience of working in a fast-paced delivery environment and/or on a complex project (essential).

· Experience of budget management (essential).

· Highly competent user of Word, Excel, Co-Pilot and other AI tools, PowerPoint and Outlook (essential).

· Experience of successfully dealing with stakeholders at different levels (essential).

· Experience with a project management tooling such as Monday. com, MS Project, Smartsheet, Trello, Salesforce (desirable).

Role Summary

Together Women Leeds provides holistic wraparound support to women and girls and specialises in supporting women involved with the criminal justice system, through 1:1 Keywork, group programmes and access to specialist gender-specific support via TW Women’s Centres.

We are seeking an individual with a proactive, compassionate, collaborative approach. We are looking for someone who is adaptable and highly organised, brings strong reporting skills, and is a great relationship builder. Experience of working in the women’s sector or the criminal justice system is desirable, but not essential – most importantly we’re looking for an outstanding manager.

At Together Women, staff wellbeing is a priority. With the support of a Senior Keyworker, you will ensure our staff team are effectively managed, supported and encouraged to develop within their roles, enabling them to provide high quality, trauma-responsive support.

You will be responsible for the management of a range of services, ensuring high quality standards are consistently met and partnerships are established and maintained. You will lead the strategic development and operational effectiveness of the Bradford Centre, which is funded by a range of commissioners both statutory and non-statutory.

You will lead on contract and performance management including relationships with commissioners. Alongside the Director of Services and wider management team you will also contribute to the effective leadership of the organisation, ensuring our operational and strategic objectives are met.

Key accountabilities

Service Delivery and Management

• Lead the operational management of TW services in Bradford ensuring intensive high-quality, trauma responsive support is provided to women and girls accessing the services.
• Develop and manage a service plan for Bradford that incorporates key milestones and ensures delivery of project outputs and outcomes
• Monitor delegated budget responsibility, ensuring that the services operate within the agreed budget.

Staff Management

• Line manage direct reports and ensure that all staff receive regular support, supervision and performance review, case management, training and development in line with TW policies and procedures.
• Deliver team meetings, reflective practice, and staff learning and development opportunities.
• Effectively manage a team working on different contracts ensuring team cohesion and consistency in approach and practice.

Communication/Contracts and Partnerships

• Take overall responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective partnerships and referral pathways.
• Lead on the contract and performance management including all relationships with commissioners.
• Organise and attend external meetings/events as appropriate, actively participating and disseminating information to colleagues. This includes sitting on steering groups and attending multi-agency panels to discuss the needs and challenges faced by our service users,
• Design and deliver training for professionals in the region to improve responses to women and girls affected by the social justice system.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Ensure that all staff maintain accurate, confidential customer records, following Together Women policies and procedures, and contribute to development of contract monitoring and recording.
• Produce monitoring and evaluation reports in line with funder and other key stakeholder requirements.

Funding

• Identify relevant fundraising opportunities and support TW senior management team to prepare funding applications, identify commissioning opportunities, which support the long-term sustainability of existing and new services.
• Attend meetings with potential new funders to secure new funding streams, ensuring that the project outcomes are achievable and measurable.
• Work with colleagues within TW and/or external partners to establish new services/projects when funding applications are successful.

• Regular communications and support to branches and lifesaving clubs
• Engage with our members to understand their needs and future opportunities to support their roles in their communities and beyond
• Conduct research and horizon scan for new opportunities for our members

The Digital and Operational Lead will lead the development and day-to-day delivery of the eoa’s digital systems including our AMS and SSoT (iMIS) and member community platform (Thrive by Higher Logic), operational infrastructure, and working environment (office and WFH).

Systems, Technology, and Intelligence

• Lead the delivery, development, and optimisation of our digital infrastructure, including implementation of AI, liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure business critical systems are maintained, secure, and future-proofed.
• Drive creation and delivery of seamless, engaging digital experiences that support member acquisition and retention, and generate measurable ROI.

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regular reviews of safety and operational processes.

• Skilled in using digital tools, and in interest in implementing AI, to improve operational efficiency and UX.

The Fundraising Officer will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all fundraising activities and events. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to maximise donations and enhance donor relationships, in line with the Central London Samaritans' fundraising strategy. The Research and Evidence Officer is a new and exciting role at Impetus, an organisation at the forefront of youth policy. Impetus is evidence led and impact focused and we take this approach to our policy and public affairs activity. 

The successful candidate will provide the robust data and insights needed to help us build a better understanding of young people’s experiences across education and employment, support colleagues by providing accurate data, analysis and insight that informs policy development and communication designed to improve their outcomes, and support the team to create compelling cases for change tailored to a range of audiences.
