Job Purpose - Commercial Analyst
The primary objective of this role is to deliver a broad programme of market and commercial research and analysis to underpin AFG’s growth ambitions and to manage AFG’s commercial risks.
The role will shape and deliver a comprehensive and systematic approach to market analysis whilst also ensuring that AFG’s contractual obligations are clearly documented and understood.
About the Role
This is a strategically important role as AFG aim to positively impact more lives and drive business growth both in its current geographies and in new geographies.
The role will ensure that AFG’s growth plans are informed by high-quality research and analysis. This will include geographical analysis, the systematic review of key competitors, and key market trends both regionally and nationally.
The role will also ensure that key information is available to decision-makers covering existing contracts with commissioners and Service Level Agreements with housing partners.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Develop a detailed programme of market research and analysis linked to AFG’s growth plans.
- Deliver a range of geographically focused reviews covering both current geographies and new ones.
- Deliver a range of competitor reviews including annual and quarterly reports and deep dives into competitor developments.
- Review market trends both nationally and regionally, drawing from multiple trusted data sources.
- Ensure regular updates to contract summaries and databases relating to agreements with our Housing Partners.
- Provide impactful reports and infographics for providing key information to the AFG Board (for example the Corporate Scorecard).

As the Trusts and Foundations Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our fundraising efforts, generating income through grant applications to fuel our essential programs and pioneering pilot initiatives. The role as the Behaviour Consultant Lead will be to:
- Work closely alongside our support teams to conduct comprehensive assessment, intervention, and evaluations over the long term, developing positive behaviour support plans that enable therapeutic support to be delivered within a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework.
- Deliver PROACT-SCIPr-UK® training to our support teams.

Our Clinical Assessment & Intervention Team (CAIT)
Led by a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst and UKBA(Cert), we have highly specialised team of clinicians, including rehabilitation workers for the visually impaired and behaviour consultants. We assess functional vision and test for cerebral visual impairments, which can often be an overlooked establishing operation for behavioural challenges. As well as direct assessment and intervention to work to increase people’s opportunities in life, we train our support teams to meet the people we supports’ unique needs. Our team members are committed to joint working with families, support teams and our NHS and local authority colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for the people we support.
We work as partners with the residential or supported living teams to build plans that are accepted, operationally achievable, generalisable, and sustainable.
Your experience & personal characteristics
As you will be working with people in their own homes, residential and group supported living services, you must be confident engaging with diverse groups of people, family members and multi-agency professionals. You need to be passionate about equality and equity, being able to see the potential for improvement and knowing how to guide the person we support and their team to achieve the best. You will already have experience working directly with people who have learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, multi-sensory impairments, and people who may present behaviours that challenge. You will be fluent in the use of applied behaviour analysis to devise ways that are simple but effective to measure baseline and on-going development. You will be able to support our teams by putting plans into action through your direct modelling.
Your qualifications
This position requires a minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or a related field (such as Positive Behaviour Support) with at least two years of applicable experience; or Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis, with one year of professional experience.
Candidates wishing to work towards their BCBA or UKBA(Cert) qualification will get their supervision as part of this role.

· Ensure sourcing sufficient levels of donated stock locally in collaboration with the shop team

Ensure that all legal and Vision Foundation internal regulations regarding donated stock are adhered to
· Inspire the team to provide a great customer and donor experience, which enables The Vision Foundation to attract new supporters every day. Ensure that feedback, including complaints are escalated to the Area Manager within the agreed timeframes
· Empower the team to create original, appropriate and commercially successful visual merchandising displays, including shop windows
· Make sure that all procedures for the sale of new products are followed by the volunteer team (if applicable)

We are looking for a Charity Shop Manager to cover shifts in both of the Harington Charity Shops in North London. The Charity Shop Manager (Cover) role, will be guaranteed 8.5 hours a week in our Hornsey charity shop. In addition to this there may be other variable hours over and above this, where they will be asked to provide cover when the Charity Shop Managers or Shop Assistants are on leave at either the Archway or Hornsey Charity Shops. Harington is an Ofsted regulated specialist college and charity based in north London, working with young people with learning differences aged 16-25. Our students undertake individualised learning programmes that lead to vocational qualifications and other aims, including gardening, retail, English, maths, employability and independent living.
