We are looking for someone with thorough understanding of HR Policy and Procedures and relevant regulation in health and social care. As the HR Manager you will consistently deliver a pro-active and professional HR service to the business through developing effective partnerships with project leads & Senior Management.

Responsibilities: 

Recruitment & Selection 
 
The role of HR Manager will review all recruitment processes and practices to ensure all vacancies are filled in the most cost efficient way and within the shortest time possible. The HR function will be responsible for identifying effective and appropriate recruitment methods for all vacancies. 
 
Employee Relations 
 

• Taking a lead whilst advising and supporting managers on all Employee Relations issues, including performance management; sickness & absence; disciplinary & grievance procedures. 
   

• Ensuring the grievance and disciplinary procedures are adhered to by all staff and to empower the Operations Team to undertake investigations & hearings.  
   

• Experience of reviewing current practices and where needed looking at standardized practices.   
   

• Reviewing and updating the equality and diversity strategy, making recommendations on best practice and legislation. 
   

• To monitor staff turnover and ensuring that exit interviews are carried out, analysing and reporting on findings. 
   

Management Responsibility

Senior CRM Database Officer

Mencap have a fantastic opportunity in the CRM Database team.  We are looking for a Senior CRM Database Officer to work on BAU data process improvements, complex SQL selections, data imports and CRM training.  Mencap are seeking a highly skilled database professional who wants to join a vibrant and dynamic team that is passionate about making the UK the best place to live for people with a learning disability. This is an exciting time to join the team, as Mencap are currently in the early stages of a CRM Migration project, to transition from alms NET to Salesforce. 

As the Senior CRM Database Officer, you will combine your strong CRM technical and analytical skills with excellent communication skills to ensure that all our internal & external stakeholders are presented with accurate, accessible data.  You will work within the Fundraising Operations team (FrOps) providing quality CRM data related support and advice to Fundraising CRM users in line with team service levels and performance targets.  In this role, you will identify, implement and write up process improvements; develop & deliver complex data campaign mailing selections & analytics to Fundraising CRM system users for direct marketing purposes; provide support and cover for data import processes and deliver training and procedure guides.  You will also maintain and develop our CRM data systems, ensuring our data accuracy & integrity meets all Fundraising compliance standards. 

This is a permanent full-time role. We offer flexible working with at least one day per week (Tuesday) based in our London office near Aldgate East, Aldgate and Liverpool Street stations.

Community Fundraising Manager

The Mencap Community and Events Team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and passionate fundraiser,  dedicated to raising as much funds as possible to help make the UK the best place to live for people with a learning disability to join our team as Senior Community Fundraising Manager covering England and Wales.

Covering the England and Wales the Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for managing various income streams across the Community portfolio working closely with the wider team.

Within this role, you will achieve agreed fundraising targets through effective management, support and cultivation of both existing and new regional supporters including: individuals, groups, associations, local corporates and schools whilst maximising the current portfolio of Mencap owned products. You will research, identify and develop new community fundraising opportunities, areas of potential support and build a robust pipeline for restricted grants and corporate partners.

The role is home based. There will be travel around the areas that the role covers.

This position is a permanent, full-time role to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday. The nature of community fundraising is that there will be evening and weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given.

We are excited to be advertising the role of Psychotherapy Service Manager at Respond, to lead our team and the development of our psychotherapy services with autistic people and people with learning disabilities who have experienced trauma and their families.  Many of our clients may have experienced complex or multiple traumatic experiences including sexual violence, domestic abuse and neglect.

The Psychotherapy Service provides predominantly longer-term therapeutic support of a year or more, depending on how the work is funded, to an average of 130 unique individuals per year.  The current team of 10 are made up of 4 senior therapists (reporting to the postholder), 4 therapists and 2 honoraries in training, the majority of whom are Arts therapists and work within a psychodynamic and/or systemic model.

We welcome applications from experienced Psychodynamic Counsellor/Psychotherapists, Arts therapists, Psychologists or Family Therapists who are passionate about our work. You will work psychodynamically, champion our trauma informed approach including our reflective practice model and have the opportunity to influence and shape the development of the psychotherapy service.  Leading the small team, you will provide clinical leadership and be Safeguarding lead, ensuring we continue to provide high quality psychotherapy services.  We are offering the role at 4-5 days per week, working in a hybrid manner flexibly. You can also hold your own small case load of clients, supervisees and/or consultancy work within the role.

This is a unique and specialist role and we recognise that you may have more experience in one clinical area or client group than another, given the breadth of our work and whilst you may be experienced in working psychodynamically as a therapist and as a line manager, you may be newer to leading a service for example. Or you may have a great deal of other experience and understanding of the needs of our clients from other work.  We are flexible to develop the right candidate who is passionate about improving the lives of autistic people, people with learning disabilities and their family members.

Respond is entering the last year of our three-year strategy, in which we will continue to be focusing on our psychotherapy service, which is a core part of Respond’s offer as a charity for now thirty-four years.   Our mission is to reduce the impact of trauma in the lives of people with learning disabilities and autistic people, by developing trusting relationships, through psychotherapeutically informed services which include advocacy, training and consultation.

I am excited to be working with an amazing London based disability charity in search of a Project Accountant on a 6-month FTC. You will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller with the management and administration of the organisation’s finances.

You will manage a number of business-related and operational systems, processes, procedures and required controls across the organisations group of charities in the delivery of the charity’s services. You will play a key role in the Finance team and will work closely with departmental budget holders and other stakeholders in the organisation, performing a variety of finance tasks from bank reconciliations through to assisting with month end and year end processes and annual audits.

Main duties:

• To assist in the production of the monthly management accounts for the group.

• To process repayments, accruals, intercompany and other relevant month end journals.

• To reconcile Donation income

• To maintain the fixed assets register.

• To prepare Foundation bank reconciliation.

Who we are looking for:

A Permanent Customer Relations and Sales Officer to work as part of a centralised sales team, which leads all Autism Know How sales, logistic and customer support enquiries.

Managing all aspects of the customer sales journey, this role will lead and deliver an effective, timely and professional customer journey and experience, maximising income potential and repeat business to ensure performance against team sales targets and to enable the society to continue to improve its offering for autistic people.

This role will work closely with colleagues across Autism Know How, Marketing, CRM and Business Development departments, and other relevant NAS teams where required. 

This role will also deliver general administration and data processing as required.

As Business Analyst, you’ll be vital to analysing and understanding business problems and opportunities from across the charity. You will be helping to understand user and business needs, break those needs out into constituent parts, analyse multiple solutions, and support the communication and delivery of solutions to meet the user needs.

Analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills are core to this role. You will work iteratively in cross-functional teams made up of people from across the charity to bring impactful and meaningful work to life.

As a Business Analyst, you’ll be able to:

• Lead and manage investigations into business processes, functions, information flows, data structures and software development processes, using various methodical and consistent techniques.
• Deliver at pace using agile methodologies and principles.
• Define improvements to business processes, while evaluating potential solutions based on the impacts across the organisation.
• Lead, understand and communicate the big picture while working to assure the overall goal is maintained in creation of product backlogs, in addition to working at a detailed level during sprints and iterations.

An initial activity will involve working with stakeholders to understand the on-going requirements to improve how we use our CRM (Dynamics). You will:

1. Liaise with stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements for the continuing improvement of our CRM.
2. Design and document processes and workflows within the CRM and other products/services.
3. The support for stakeholders in using the CRM whilst distilling relevant information to our data team.

You should have demonstrable experience of business and systems analysis working including identification of business benefits, deconstructing user needs, business process modelling, requirements capture, prioritisation, facilitation, challenging business perspectives, sharing best practices and improving team processes and delivery and co-ordinating and leading other teams.

We are looking to recruit a Community and Events Fundraiser to raise the profile and awareness of CamSight and increase income through developing and securing a range of funding streams including individual supporters, challenge events, community, and digital fundraising. The post holder will help to develop and ensure the effective delivery of the community fundraising strategy in relation to generating sustainable income from third parties, brand campaigns and challenge events.
