FitzRoy is looking for a proactive and driven Oliver McGowan Programme & Training Coordination Manager to develop, coordinate and grow our external Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training offer.

Using your excellent relationship-building skills, you will develop partnerships with commissioners and other organisations and identify strategies to help more customers access our training. You'll build strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring they receive an excellent experience from initial enquiry through to training delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a newly created role, identify new opportunities, improve the way we work and lead our Training Support Team in coordinating all of FitzRoy's training, while helping us reach more organisations and increase the impact of our Oliver McGowan programme.

Please note this is a remote role with occasional travel to Petersfield and other locations in the UK, so a Full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

What you'll do

• Lead our dedicated Training Support Team, ensuring the smooth coordination of all internal and external training across FitzRoy - Not just our Oliver McGowan programme.
• Work closely with our inspirational Lived Experience Trainers and Administration team to support the successful delivery of the Oliver McGowan programme and our internal training courses in a timely and efficient way.
• Develop new business opportunities and build lasting relationships with commissioners, customers and partner organisations.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience from initial enquiry through to course completion.
• Monitor performance, income, customer feedback and quality standards to support continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Oliver McGowan licensing requirements and contractual obligations.

You will be part of a team of staff delivering the existing SC4A programme of activity, as well as helping to continue developing our popular cycling activities and other elements of the programme. We now also run an e-cycle loan scheme, off-road sessions at Parkwood Springs, and campaign across the region to secure better infrastructure, support and recognition for the disabled cycling community.

As our Café Supervisor, you'll play a key role in helping people take their next steps into work in the hospitality industry. Reporting to the Fruitful Café Project Manager, you'll supervise the day-to-day running of the café, support and manage the team, and make sure we continue to deliver a great experience for everyone who visits.

You'll work closely with the Fruitful Development Worker and our café crew to help trainees build their skills, confidence and experience in a real working café. Every day, you'll support up to four trainees as they gain paid work experience in hospitality while serving around 50 customers.

This is an important new role reporting to the Student Support Lead (Disability and Inclusion). The post-holder will provide support and advice to trainees with a wide range of needs, including disabilities such as SpLD, autism and ADHD, as well as mental health conditions. They will write Reasonable Adjustment Plans (RAPs), work with partners to ensure agreed support is implemented effectively, escalate cases where appropriate, and contribute insight to help strengthen student support, inclusion and wellbeing practice across NIoT. Above all, the role is focused on enabling an outstanding student experience.

Background Information and Purpose of Post

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Media relations

· Work alongside the Media and Communications Manager to develop and deliver a targeted media and communications strategy that supports fundraising and brand awareness goals.

· Proactively identify and pitch story and interview opportunities to secure coverage.

· Draft and distribute press releases, statements and reactive lines, including during breaking news and emergencies.

Communications

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised individual in a supporting role to the People team. The role will assist with day-to-day operational tasks, providing managers and staff with effective administrative support in all aspects of Human Resources.

You will provide People generalist support for the full employee lifecycle, as well as support with the end-to-end recruitment cycle in line with The Churches Conservation Trust’s policies and procedures, best practice and legal requirements.

What We Offer:

· You'll get 25 days holiday + bank holidays ever year. We're closed for Christmas but the rest of the year you may take leave whenever you wish. 

· An extra day of annual leave for each year you've worked with us up to another 5 (30 in total)

What you'll be doing
You will lead the development and delivery of innovative services that improve the lives of disabled children and their families through play, early intervention and inclusive practice. Working closely with families, healthcare professionals, education providers and community partners, you will identify emerging needs, drive service improvement and develop approaches that increase impact, reach and sustainability.

A key focus will be shaping the future of Newlife's play offer, including Community Play programmes, Play Pods and the development of new Early Years services. You will ensure services are informed by evidence, family insight and best practice in child development, inclusion and play.

Do you want to play a crucial part in organising and facilitating our creative arts programmes? We are looking for a Creative Arts Lead Tutor to line manage our Creative Arts team and support the delivery of programmes including arts and crafts and textiles. 

Share is a registered charity and a centre for training and wellbeing. We provide a range of programmes empowering adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, and adults with other support needs to live happier, healthier, and more independent lives. Our vision is a world where disabled people are fully included in society, living the life they choose, and we need talented people to help us make that happen.

Your work will support our students to learn and express themselves using a variety of creative opportunities, from participating in Wandsworth Arts Fringe to working with artists or other creatives to broaden their knowledge and awareness of creative approaches to being well. 

Main responsibilities 

• You'll lead our creative arts programmes across our various locations, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards 

• You’ll deliver textiles session to adults with a learning disability and autistic adults ensuring all sessions are inclusive 

• You'll develop a plan of activities for our creative arts programmes, working with your team, our Wellbeing team and the management team to determine activities that support our students' goals 

• You will line manage the Creative Arts staff, supporting the development of project objectives, conducting one-to-one and appraisal meetings, and reviewing and agreeing project resourcing 

Who we’re looking for 

• You'll ideally have experience of working with adults with a learning disability and/or autistic adults in a learning or community environment 

• You’ll have experience of coordinating and planning for a range of activities, facilitating inclusive and adapted sessions to meet a variety of needs 

• You’ll have experience of leading, organising and contributing to the success of a small team 

• Most importantly, you share our strong commitment to the inclusion of disabled people in society, you believe in equality for all
