We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our team as a Power BI Developer. You will join us working 35 hours per week, on a permanent basis and will be based remotely. In return you will receive a salary of up to £43,003 per annum plus excellent benefits.

The small yet busy Solution Delivery Team is expanding from six to ten employees, sitting within the IT Department. The team work within Cats Protection to identify issues and provide technical solutions, utilizing both off the shelf products or in-house developed solutions as required. Internal solutions are built using a range of technologies focused around the Azure Stack, including low code/no code solutions, the Power platform, T-SQL and other technologies as required.

Responsibilities of our Power BI Developer:

As a Power BI Developer you will be working with a number of departments within Cats Protection to understand their data and reporting requirements. You will need to identify any quality issues with their data, as well as work with the departments on how best to resolve historic data issues and improve processes to ensure future data is captured to a high standard. The data will then need to be moved in to our Power BI platform where you will create user friendly and accurate reports to show this data.

Current projects include:

• Supporting existing reports and dashboards for Neutering Finance to track processing times and backlog
• Building a number of reports for our Volunteering teams to track foster home inspections, volunteer availability, and surveys of the volunteers
• Supporting a network of Power BI Champions within the organisation, providing them with data and supporting them in finetuning reports to better inform decision-making

What we’re looking for in our Power BI Developer:

- At least 3 years of experience using Power BI and extracting data from SQL, Excel and SharePoint.

- Experience presenting data in a format that users can understand

- Knowledge of the PowerApps platform

- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory and ETL processes

- Someone with a logical, analytical approach to problem solving

- Knowledge of the appropriate professional and/or legal data standards

- A customer focussed individual

About You

You will have experience of building compelling cases for support, bids and partnership concepts specifically for major donors, companies and grant funders. You will have a flair for translating complex information into simple concise and compelling communications in a range of formats. You will also have excellent attention to detail, with experience of interpreting financial and impact data.

You will have experience in developing a special events programme to support engagement and high value fundraising; understanding the importance of events within high value stewardship plans.

Your excellent relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills combined with your experience of working with a range of internal teams and external stakeholders will ensure that the needs of our high value funding audiences are met and understood.

You will be a highly experienced people manager and leader, possessing strong relationship and project management skills. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work across a number of conflicting deadlines and priorities. You will ideally be able to demonstrate fundraising experience and previous experience of working with high net worth individuals and committees is advantageous.

Flexible, proactive and enthusiastic, you will have excellent communication and influencing skills, and be comfortable adapting confidently to a wide variety of social settings. 

About the Role

As Senior Stewardship and Events Manager, you will be leading on the creation of ambitious funding propositions which will be attractive to high value donors and funders, working with key stakeholders from across the organisation to fully understand our existing services and transformational projects; translating complex information into compelling cases for support to be used by our High Value Partnerships team in funding applications, pitches and proposals. You will work closely with Recovery Services, Data and Insights and Finance teams to ensure all relevant information is gathered and reporting and evaluation processes are in place.

Working with your team and the wider High Value Partnerships team you will develop a special events programme to support engagement and fundraising, as well as leading on the development of developing engaging and relevant donor and prospect communications. You will work alongside the High Value Events Officer and other High Value Partnerships Senior Managers to conceptualise, plan and deliver a range of event types, offering a variety of activities to engage and inspire high value supporters, and ensure they are connected to, and inspired by, the work of Help for Heroes.

Nurture a solid base of trust amongst supporters, understanding their giving preferences so that Animal Equality’s income-generating relationships result in the greatest lifetime impact for animals. • Proactively build our supporter base: persuade existing donors, trusts, and foundations to leverage their networks in support of Animal Equality’s work, employing innovative relationship management techniques and creating creative propositions to maximise giving, engagement and onward referral. Conduct comprehensive fundraising research, and produce high-quality, strategic, and measurable funding applications, to develop a healthy pipeline of new funding sources, stewarding donors and grant-makers that fit Animal Equality’s ethos.
• Increase demand for farmed animal philanthropic giving: showcasing Animal Equality’s life-saving role in delivering meaningful change for farmed animals, employ proven approaches to map out networks for potential supporters. Proactively identify and cultivate prospective major donors through proactive in-person meetings, events, forums, events, and other strategic communications, establishing a dialogue that converts into income for Animal Equality.
• Inspire loyalty to the cause: design and deliver high-quality, bespoke supporter experiences, supplying current and potential donors with timely, authentic, and persuasive communications to inspire ongoing giving. • Oversee the organisation of supporter events: support in the strategic vision for in-person events to celebrate and appreciate our supporters. Review and optimise existing fundraising strategies to forecast planned income levels and streams alongside fully costed resources that will be required to deliver on set targets.

• Manage records and reporting: produce high-quality monthly and ad hoc reports for the UK Executive Director, ensuring donor and prospect records are comprehensive, accurate and well maintained in our CRM system. Evaluate current processes, make suggestions for ongoing improvements, and ensure GDPR, Fundraising Regulator standards and key fundraising protections are adhered to at all times. Compile precise and timely reports and updates for key funders relating to Animal Equality’s activities.

About the role

We’re recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to steer us in the next stage of our journey. This is an exciting development of an existing role at Overcoming MS and will allow the successful candidate to make the position their own.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering an innovative new digital marketing approach, through the innovation, creation and delivery of projects and activities which increase leads, donations and engagement for Overcoming MS charity.

 Key Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Manager will work across several areas, including:

1. Conversion optimisation

· Increasing our donations and data capture - to enable us to continue the dialogue and create donations from a greater percentage of those who visit our website, or interact with other digital channels.

· Working with our agency partner to optimise key landing pages and signposting for conversion.

2. User journey optimisation

· Helping people find the right content based on data optimisations so that more people find what they need and understand what else the charity could offer them. Using HotJar for insights.

· Automated email journeys - Building customer journeys to support the Program pillars to build deeper relationships with people in our community.

3. Increasing reach and traffic generation

· Testing different low-cost digital reach opportunities.

· Including paid social, referral activities, calls to action across our channels, YouTube SEO and SEM. Working with an agency to optimise journeys from Google Grant, leading to clearly articulated actions (eg donations, sign-ups, click-throughs).

4. Testing to improve results continually 

· Email AB testing - Deliver AB testing to inform future email AB tests.

· Plan AB testing for email marketing projects, for the website, and other projects as needed to improve conversion rates.

5. Digital project management

· Testing new digital versions of courses and tools. Project management of website updates.

6. Campaign support

· Leading, innovating and supporting advocacy, communications and fundraising campaigns as needed to increase reach, engagement and conversions.

7. Gathering community feedback

· Continue the plan to access regular community feedback to influence Hub improvements and other digital channel improvements.

8. Supplier collaboration

· Working with our suppliers to optimise collaboration, reduce cost and increase impact.

About you

Strong digital skills

• A proven track record of managing digital products/projects/programmes which create value for end-users.

• Lead on the planning and implementation of legacy and in mem fundraising portfolio, managing marketing campaigns from initial brief through to post campaign analysis. 
• Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with in mem supporters and legacy prospects in local communities, with the support of community fundraising managers and local volunteers – keeping these supporters at the heart of your work to to maintain and increase their support through excellent stewardship. 
• Prepare and administer correspondence and relevant paperwork and ensure maintenance for full and accurate database (D365/First Class) records, analysing financial and non-financial data to monitor and improve engagement and customer service performance.
• Proactively keep abreast of competitor activities, new initiatives and sector trends. 
• Effectively plan and execute legacy events around the country, with the aim of motivating supporters to consider leaving a gift in their Will.

• Provide continual training and compliance monitoring support to our Face to Face partners in the execution of all door, private Sites and events fundraising, this includes leading on developing new opportunities in conjunction with St John events.
• Oversee and collaboratively work with our Telephone Fundraising partners on their training and compliance of all deliverables such as welcome calls, upgrades, reactivations and other fundraising campaigns – includes caller listening
• Oversee regular audits of agents, to monitor against key auditory compliance and performance metrics.
• Manage relationships with our Face to Face partners with training, development and materials, and performance reviews. Monitoring various forms or training and reviewing inductions in line with our agreed contract.
• Build a strong knowledge of all areas of St John Ambulance’s work, carrying out continual research and gathering information, case studies and photos for use in training booklets, scripts and materials. Where appropriate, to liaise with external agencies such as designers and copywriters.

With your proven experience of philanthropy fundraising, you’ll have personally secured 5 figure + gifts from a major donor. This role sits within our Youth Impact Domain, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for children who urgently need support. Your role will be to help us maintain and develop innovative practices to support our work in our services nationwide. As well as this, you will design, deliver and evaluate high-quality safeguarding and practice training to support and develop our direct practice colleagues.

This role is the first point of contact for journalists getting in touch with the Trussell Trust. The role is accountable for handling media enquiries; checking and responding to the press inbox; media monitoring and securing press coverage. The Press Officer will assist with media work through print, online and broadcast news to help build understanding, awareness and consideration of the organisation’s mission and goal. The Press Officer will support and advise colleagues, food banks in the network and external stakeholders to ensure they receive media coverage of strategically important projects.

Role responsibilities 

· Handle incoming enquiries and provide accurate, timely and appropriate responses, briefing journalists in line with the Trussell Trust’s key messages and priorities.

· Build relationships across the organisation, within the food bank network, with external stakeholders such as corporate partners, and with journalists to assist with securing coverage across national, regional and local media to reach new audiences and build cause awareness

· Horizon scan for media opportunities and develop innovative integrated communication plans, overseeing advice, statements, timelines, and key messaging to engage specific audience segments.

· Arrange spokespeople for interviews and support with organising and managing press visits to food banks, as well as photo calls, to support the organisation’s communications priorities and campaigns 

· Circulate regular coverage updates across the organisation and help maintain and develop media databases, key performance indicator reports and other admin systems and processes to ensure continuous improvement 

· Act as the media lead on proactive projects that help build understanding and awareness of both Trussell Trust and the food bank network’s strategic objectives.

· Participate in regular 1:1s and annual reviews, contributing to the identification of objectives and targets, and monitoring of progress towards them 

· Participate in an out-of-hours rota for media enquiries.

Technical skills and minimum knowledge:
