The role

The Revalidation & Specialty Training Intern role is an opportunity for someone who thrives on a challenge, who is happiest when putting their excellent organisational and customer facing skills through their paces. Someone who is at their best working collaboratively with others. 

They will play a dual supporting the delivery of key GMC-regulated services:

·Revalidation - All doctors wishing to maintain a licence to practise are required to demonstrate they are up to date and fit to practise. It also gives extra confidence to patients that their doctor is regularly checked. FPM is a designated body for the purposes of revalidation, and the team works with a Responsible Officer whose role is to make a revalidation recommendation to the GMC.

·Specialty Training - The Pharmaceutical Medicine Specialty Training programme, or PMST, is a comprehensive four-year specialty training programme, offered exclusively by FPM. It is a cornerstone of FPM’s commitment to equipping pharmaceutical physicians with the specialist knowledge and capabilities to practise to the highest ethical and professional standards. 

The postholder will support FPM’s Revalidation Manager and Specialty Training Manager in delivering a high quality customer experience.

We are looking for a bright, dynamic self-starter who is a team player, organised and has good communication skills. The ideal candidate will bring great energy, diligence and attention to detail, and will be keen to make a positive contribution in all aspects of the role. Specific tasks include: acting as the first line of response for queries; supporting the registration of new connecting doctors and trainees; assisting with administration of meetings, including circulating meeting notices, agendas and packs and handling apologies; and maintaining accurate records. An understanding of professional development in a professional environment is not necessary. Full training will be given.

The successful applicant will join FPM’s team initially on a 12-month contract which could be made permanent.FPM offers a fantastic benefits package, including flexible working, 29 days annual leave, and Christmas closure days. A pension is offered after three months.The role is offered subject to successful completion of the six-month probation period.

Senior Night Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker

Job Title: Senior Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker 

Location: Based in Catford in a well connected area near Bellingham, Catford, and Catford Bridge stations, with nearby bus stops. Please be kindly aware there is no step free access at this location and some of our other sites.

Salary: £28,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota which includes 3 to 4 night shifts a week between 20:00 - 08:30. There may be some flexibility required around these hours as per service requirements.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker to support in leading the night shift within our Lewisham service. The service offers specialist intensive rehabilitation for people who require more enhanced interventions than that which is offered within community services. We provide residents with support to step down into less supported accommodation, becoming more independent and integrated into the community. 

As a Senior within the team, you will be the main point of contact during the night shift across two residential properties, leading the team by example, providing specialist support and managing the environment to be psychologically informed to empower the team and residents to ensure safety, wellbeing, and progress towards resident recovery goals. 

Some key responsibilities include:

• Providing tailored, person centred support that promotes recovery, rehabilitation and independence.
• Monitoring residents’ wellbeing, carrying out regular checks, and responding to any incidents or emergencies.
• Ensuring a calm, safe, and supportive environment that promotes positive engagement and progress.
• Remain alert and monitor CCTV throughout the shift.
• Complete all routine night duties and any tasks handed over by the day shift or service manager.
• Key worker responsibilities: complete inductions, support plans, reviews, risk assessments, and welfare checks; update records, monitor access, manage unauthorized visitors, follow missing person protocols, and escalate issues to on call when needed.

About You

We’re looking for a resilient and compassionate individual to join our team as a Senior Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker, supporting residents to reach their full potential within a flexible, recovery focused service. You’ll provide high quality care, working collaboratively as part of a supportive team that values communication, empathy, and empowerment. You will be able to be proactive and continue supporting our residents even during quieter hours, supporting with ensuring the service runs smoothly and you are actively engaged with the wider team and residents, supporting the team to stay motivated and working together to achieve the service KPI's.

• Previous experience working with people with multiple complex backgrounds/needs, mental health, substance misuse, alcohol, and behaviours
• Previous experience creating co-produced support plans, key working, and care planning, providing appropriate interventions for service users
• Previous experience in a similar position, where you can share your skills knowledge, and experience to support others
• Ability to be a point of contact and specialist in the service to support the team and residents with various queries and challenges
• IT Proficiency; ability to learn new software and basic Microsoft
• Understanding of the housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Registered Practitioner Psychologist with a background in clinical psychology to join our team in Croydon.

The service offers a psychologically informed environment across four sites, providing low to high support forensic mental health services to our residents with forensic mental health needs, complex conditions, and dual diagnosis.

In this role, you will drive the delivery of evidence based psychological assessments and interventions aimed at the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents into the communities. This is a creative, evolving, and impactful role which works closely with our Group Psychological Lead and wider teams to provide support to staff and at times residents to support in providing a streamlined and psychologically informed service.

Key Responsibilities Include: 

• Provide advice, guidance, and support to the team with supporting our residents to overcome personal challenges and create a supportive environment
• Advise and streamline best practices, and enhance the overall skills and expertise of the team to deliver high quality care and support
• Provide clinical supervision to the team
• Provide highly specialised psychological assessments for our residents with mental health and complex needs
• Exercise full clinical responsibility for residents psychological care as a care coordinator within a multidisciplinary team
• Formulate and implement plans for various therapy routes and management of assessing mental health conditions based upon appropriate conceptual frameworks and evidence-based practices

About You

We're looking for someone who is a self-starter, able to proactively encourage, take leadership and ownership for creating a psychologically informed environment. You will be able to communicate highly complex and sensitive information effectively within the organisation and with external partners, collaborating with external stakeholders regularly in a multidisciplinary approach. You will be able to utilise your own expertise and support in empowering the wider team to enhance their skills to deliver a service which is supportive, safe, and in line with best practice for the organisation and external regulatory bodies.

Our IAP's support residents who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. They are given support and guidance to aid their reablement, resettlement and rehabilitation post prison. • Providing high quality psychological services, contributing to the delivery of Approved Premises aims as specified by the Ministry of Justice.
• Ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics.

About the role

We’re looking for a Substance Misuse Worker with experience in mental health and substance use to join our Catford team. Based in a 24 hour residential service, you’ll support adults with severe and enduring mental health needs through rehabilitation and recovery focused support, using your specialist knowledge to help residents and the team overcome personal challenges.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will be a specialist in comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of your duties will include:

• Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
• Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
• Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning. 

About you

We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. Qualifications are desirable if paired with practical experience which is relevant to this role. We look at individual characteristics with the ability to engage with various people who may not want to receive the support, able to build trusting professional relationships, and able to demonstrate resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive. The Youth Participation & Events Support (Internhsip) role is a twelve-month paid Internship to begin during March 2026, supported by the Jack Petchey Foundation. It is an opportunity for young person to support the planning and delivery of SLRA’s youth participation programme, regular activities and youth-led events.

Our youth services include advice and casework, a programme of positive activities and opportunities to work alongside other young people to influence the policies and practices that affect them through our Young Community Leaders Programme. We also support a group of young people to plan and deliver events. These events bring young migrants in London together to discuss issues that matter to them, celebrate achievements, build community and plan further actions and work together.

Our organisation

South London Refugee Association (SLRA) is a local charity supporting refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants. Our mission is to ensure that migrants in South London are active participants with access to justice and opportunity, and we work alongside people as they build settled lives and positive futures. Our Youth Service provides support to around 350 young people each year. Support includes holistic youth casework, immigration advice, a weekly youth club, advice drop ins, a youth participation programme and regular trips and activities.

Jack Petchey Foundation

In this role, you will be part of the Jack Petchey Internship Programme with 18 other interns from different youth organisations in London and Essex. This development programme will involve attending a launch conference, four professional development workshops throughout the year and a celebration event at the end of the programme. You will receive an extra training bursary of £1,000 for approved training.  You will also be matched with a mentor from another organisation to support you in your professional development.  The Jack Petchey Internship Programme training and events will take place in person in London and you will be expected to take full part in this programme alongside your role at SLRA.

We're seeking a Deputy Service Manager to join our new service which is opening based in Bermondsey, an Independent Approved Premises (IAP) commissioned by Criminal Justice Services (CJS). The service works with residents who have recently been released from prison and helps them to reintegrate into the community, and restart their journey to independence. The team identify resident needs alongside any licensing restrictions, and will create tailored, person centred support plans including housing support, activities, and personal journey outcomes to help them to reintegrate. The team work in a multi disciplinary approach, working alongside probation services, job centres, mental health teams, and other community partners, with a focus on risk management and public protection. 

As a Deputy Service Manager, you will lead the team by providing line management and leadership support to enable and empower the team to deliver high quality support to our residents. You will support the Service Manager in driving service outcomes in line with our contractual requirements, ensuring quality, consistency, within a trauma informed setting.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Activities Coordinator to join our new Independent Approved Premises commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP). You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. You will play a major part in reintegrating our residents back into the community by coordinating and delivering high quality activities and programmes which work to support individual needs, working in collaboration with the wider team. Some activities may vary but could include days out and visits, awareness days/weeks/months campaigns, cultural celebrations and other meaningful activities to encourage reintegration and enhance social skills and community engagement.  No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and meaningful work in a supportive team environment.

Some Key Responsibilities include:

• Planning and coordinating individual and group activities and sessions.
• Delivering programmes that support residents’ goals, personal development, and reintegration.
• Developing and managing calendars of activities, events, and awareness campaigns to promote social skills, community engagement, and meaningful participation.

About You

You will have a general understanding of the criminal justice system, and/or have experience supporting people with multiple/complex needs. You will lead and coordinate the Young Carers Transition Pathway so that young carers (YC) and young adult carers (YAC) experience a consistent, person-centred journey from early preparation (5–10) through post-16 and into adulthood.

You will drive awareness and access to support across schools, FE/HE and employers, maintain regular conversations and touch points, and embed the Transition Pathway within the Local Authority statutory assessment and review cycle, in partnership with our Assessment Officers.

• Maintain Carers Trust Heart of England (CTHoE) Young Carers Transition Pathway (tools, timelines, checklists, templates); ensure alignment with statutory guidance and commissioning requirements; champion co-production and inclusive practice.
• Run a blended model of weekly venue-based groups, the Drop-In Hub, structured one-to-one (1:1) sessions, and online options, tailored by age and stage (including early preparation for children aged 5–10 and post-16 transition content).

We are seeking a dedicated, patient, and compassionate Recovery Worker, with a specialism in complex needs to join our team, which supports residents who have a current or history of complex and mental health needs. In this role, you will deliver flexible, tailored, person centred support to residents to improve their quality of life and achieve their personal goals. You will utilise your communication skills to build trusting, professional rapport with our residents to help them overcome personal challenges. Our residents may have multiple and complex needs which includes with their mental health, substance use, and physical health. The service supports them to move onto lower supported or independent housing, and you will be at the forefront in their journey.

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Create tailored support plans through one to one sessions, group sessions, and multi agency meetings
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents at all times
• Focusing on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals
