Responsibilities of our Community Fundraising Programme Implementation Manager:

• The role will be responsible for reviewing and strengthening programme delivery across National Community Fundraising to increase long term engagement and net income contribution after the successful roll out of the community fundraising hubs in 2024.  Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders, the role will develop the key strategic programmes (Local Corporate Partnerships, DIY Fundraising, Fundraising Volunteers, Local Events & Small Trusts) within National Community Fundraising to enable volunteer and supporter led fundraising to flourish.
• The role will also lead, develop and motivate the National Community Fundraising Assistant and the Community Fundraising Programme Development Officer. The Community Fundraising Programme Development Officer is responsible for delivering short-term projects to improve operational and financial management, to support the implementation of the new National Community Hubs and wider Community & Events strategy.

About the Community & Events team:

• We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
• The National Community Fundraising team at Cats Protection has recently gone through transformative change, implementing a new community hub structure in six regions across the UK. Leading and enabling community led fundraising in their area, they raise circa £3.5million income per year, making a significant contribution to Cats Protection’s work to make life better for cats.

What we’re looking for in our Community Fundraising Programme Implementation Manager:

•  Community Fundraising experience at a senior level
• Programme / product management experience
• Line management experience with track record of developing individuals and leading a team
• Evidence of clear planning including setting objectives, implementation and demonstrable monitoring, review and evaluating skills
• Strong working knowledge of transaction/contact database (preferably CARE NG and/or Microsoft Dynamics)

We're looking for an Engagement Worker to join our residential service based in Bedford which is a 19-bed residential service close to Bedford Town Centre offering a safe, peaceful and supportive living environment for individuals wishing to engage with support to assist them in increasing their levels of independence. You will support with various responsibilities within the service, with a focus on providing social contact and company to help enhance quality of life, personal safety, health and security, sustainment of tenancy and improving financial independence. You will support our residents to gain the relevant skills and knowledge to gain greater independence, supporting them back into the community.

Luminary Ltd provides training, employment and community to some of the most disadvantaged women in London. We use baking as a tool to guide women towards employability and independence. We work alongside women who have experienced gender-based violence and live with ‘multiple disadvantage’. The role
Luminary is entering an exciting phase in its development, transitioning from a small, founder-led start-up into a medium-sized charity. Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement a fundraising strategy to define and meet annual income targets from various income streams, identifying opportunities for income growth.

Essential:

Five years + experience in fundraising contributing to strategy as well as delivery.

Demonstrated  success in fundraising  with a proven track record of securing significant income from trusts and foundations, and/or major donors and corporate partners.
Skilled in relationship-based fundraising with experience of donor cultivation and stewardship to secure long-term partnerships.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling funding proposals, persuasive pitches and impactful reports.
Experience in financial planning including creating and managing budgets, and financial analysis skills to track and report income performance.
Strategic and innovative thinker able to identify, assess and pursue new funding opportunities aligned with charity goals.
Highly organised, self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

THE ROLE

Covering the operational, strategic and delivery of work across the Eastern region we are looking for a Project Development Co-ordinator to operate across the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Travel within and occasionally outside these regions will be a necessity.

This post provides an exciting and rewarding opportunity to supervise, deliver and lead on our stakeholder and community engagement to support the delivery of NEA’s work programme.  The role will help deliver projects that can change lives, particularly during the energy crisis. 

NEA’s project work aims to bring improvements to the health and wellbeing of low income and vulnerable householders, through one-to-one advice, group awareness sessions, upskilling and sharing of best practice. 

Delivering on a range or projects, which demonstrate good practice in delivery of affordable warmth for low income and vulnerable householders, you will understand and drive the development of partnerships working with local authorities, housing providers, and various other partners.

You will oversee the delivery of project outputs and outcomes, delivering energy and fuel debt advice directly to householders and be responsible for the preparation of reports to funders including collation of evidence of outcomes achieved, maintaining relationships with a network of stakeholders across a region.

You will also work with the Project Development Manager to identify and develop new programmes of work, including preparation of funding applications, presentation of funding proposals to relevant funding bodies and to ensure effective liaison of NEA’s work programme with other activities within NEA.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

You will have demonstrable experience of developing and/or managing projects in the fields of energy efficiency, community development and regeneration, housing, social policy or consumer issues.

It is important that you have an awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them. 

You will need good organisational skills, as well as excellent written and communication skills, as you will maintain appropriate records and data, and produce regular written reports on project progress. 

You will be an excellent communicator, with experience and understanding of how to effectively address the energy needs of low income, vulnerable or disadvantaged householders - with the desire to make a positive difference to people’s lives.

Knowledge of energy efficiency, particularly within the domestic sector and community buildings, is desirable.

There will be a requirement to attend in-person team meetings based in the area on a quarterly basis and other parts of the UK when our wider fundraising territory and department get together. 

There will also be a requirement for flexible and out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity and you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to increase awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and promote access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C.

Do you have experience of working in drug services and with volunteers? Have you been affected by hepatitis C, or have you supported anyone who has hepatitis C? We are looking for a passionate and skilled peer lead who has excellent communication and organisational skills. Alongside a growing team, these posts will continue the development and delivery of the Hepatitis C peer project, recruiting and supporting volunteer peers across the North East Somerset area. We are currently seeking a maintenance assistant to help keep our centres running smoothly and safely for the animals in our care. You will an important role in maintaining our facilities, supporting our team, and ensuring a clean, secure, and welcoming environment for both animals and employees.

Your role will involve supporting the 3 Battersea sites with general maintenance tasks to allow the site to meet its operational needs.

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced, confident, and highly proactive Office Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our office and support the wider team. This is a role for an independent thinker; we want someone who sees what needs doing and just gets on with it.

Responsibilities of our Senior Individual Giving Officer:

• This role is crucial in delivering the charity’s Individual Giving programme, working across multiple communication channels to grow sustainable income for Cats Protection by recruiting and stewarding supporters across a range of products.

About the Individual Giving Team:

• We sit within the Marketing & Income Generation directorate
• Our team is responsible for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters to generate over £22 million each year and provide leads for the other teams in the directorate
• We currently have a team of 13 working across Acquisition and Retention on our Appeals and Raffles, Membership, Sponsorship, Lottery and regular giving programs using Mail, Face to Face, DRTV, email, Digital, Social and other paid media

What we’re looking for in our Senior Individual Giving Officer:

• Extensive experience in an Individual Giving or similar role, ideally working with agencies in the third sector
• Experience in leading the organisation of projects/activities or schedules
• Experience in budget management, ideally with multiple income and expenditure items
• Proven track record of achieving income against agreed financial targets, and measuring against KPIs
• Experience of at least some broad-based fundraising, such as Direct Mail, DRTV, telephone, digital or face-to-face fundraising

We are looking for motivated self-starters who will work in a non-judgemental way and build meaningful, trusting relationships with our clients. The service is part of Westminster’s Rough Sleepers Pathway and the role involves:

• Regularly travelling to meet our clients across 8 different houses set within the north of the borough.

• Working with clients to bring out their strengths and support them to prepare for independent living.

• Helping to create and maintain a supportive, safe environment for clients who have complex needs, including mental health, substance use, alcohol use, and complex traumas.

The role is predominantly Monday to Friday 9-5, working one weekend per month (Bank Holidays also included in work rota).
