Currently in the middle of a major transformation programme, they are keen to secure some additional resource for the busy finance team that can lead them through year end.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of year end statutory accounts – financial reporting and analysis, trial balance, P&L and balance sheet.
• Working with finance colleagues on information required for internal and external stakeholder reporting.
• Responsible for preparing analysis to support the statutory disclosures.
• Handling external audit queries with auditors.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified and have experience of preparing accounts for year end in the charity sector. A good level of Excel and practical, can-do approach are also essential.

This role has been assessed as inside of IR35. With flexible office working practices, this role can be delivered fully remote.

The Institutional Trusts and Fundraising Manager will provide strategic oversight and direction for Lepra’s institutional fundraising function to deliver on the restricted and unrestricted income targets. The postholder will be line managing and leading the Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser in the delivery of the trust fundraising target, and working with the programmes teams in the UK, India and Bangladesh to identify and develop applications to statutory sources and major trusts, leading on the development of detailed project proposals.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of working in statutory and/or trusts fundraising, including successfully applying for grants in excess of £50,00 to £100,000+. You will have a demonstrable track record of high quality bid writing and production that meet funder requirements.

This post will help The Trusts identify those opportunities and coordinate funding and licensing to ensure that realignment works both for those communities affected and helps to restore their wonderful coastal wildlife. 

You will have a detailed understanding of coastal processes, including relevant nature conservation issues. The successful candidate will have substantial experience as an HR Manager within a busy organisation, ideally in the charity sector but this experience could equally be gained in the corporate or local Government sectors. This person will have the ability to manage working relationships in a fair and compassionate manner and to respect confidentiality at all times. They should possess good communication skills, sound management experience and motivate others and will naturally set a good example.

Candidates should also have a firm grasp of laws and regulations and how to abide by them. In addition, this person should be able to take direction from executives and disseminate policy to the relevant employees and the organisation as a whole.

This person will be able to work in a relatively small (virtual) Team based across the United Kingdom. The preferred candidate will understand the challenges of remote working and help the organisation to develop ways of working to ensure an effective, efficient and happy workforce with a strong sense of shared values and a one team approach.

Our client needs motivated Support Workers to encourage our young people to be the best version of themselves. Being a young person is tough, help to mentor and lead future generations.

They offer a quality strengths based support service which aims to build the skills, confidence and independence of the young people who come through their doors. 

You must be willing and able to work and travel to both of their locations in Newark. 

Are you confident and resilient with previous experience working with Young People? If the answer is yes, then we have the perfect role for you.

They are looking for individuals with previous experience of working with Young People and who have an understanding the challenges young people face, childhood trauma and it's effects. If you've worked as a teaching assistant, youth worker or even volunteered with Young People, we want to hear from you. 

Their team play a critical role in advocating for our tenants. From liaising with agencies to help them access permanent accommodation to supporting them to access education or employment training Branching Out do it all. This includes advocating for them in meetings with services.

Working on a rota basis means you will need to be flexible over a 7 day rota. Our service operates 24/7, however day shifts are either 08:00 – 15:30 or 14:30 – 22:00.There will be the option to pick up nights on occasion, for which their night enhancement rates will apply. 

Change can sometimes be hard so you could face behaviours that challenge, your patient and assertive nature will make sure this doesn’t escalate and make sure there are positive outcomes consistently.
