Head of Aftercare
Annual Salary:
£51,600 per annum
Location: Norwich or Cambridge
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

We place our patients at the centre of our operation and are in touch with many more people whose lives may have been affected by the service we provide. We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Health and Care Professional to lead our work in this area, developing and overseeing the strategy for Aftercare at EAAA and providing direct clinical support to a team of Clinical Liaison Officers. Your team will work directly with patients and their families, and you will work across the Charity and develop key external relationships to support our aftercare programme. 

An excellent communicator, you will lead the aftercare team and work closely with other teams in the Charity to help support our patients during the recovery process. From advising the Marketing Communications Team as they develop patient stories and supporting ideas from the Fundraising Team you will coordinate all points of contact for our patients, using your own natural leadership abilities and by empowering your team.

Using your management skills you will lead your team to work collaboratively with other external healthcare organisations to develop data sharing and improve our patient services, including signposting and developing external support networks.

You will take the lead on Safeguarding within the Charity ensuring compliance and investigating any safeguarding incidents reported.

You can be based in either Norwich or Cambridge and will be required travel across EAAA’s four main counties of operation (Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire), occasionally working out of hours to meet patients and support the work of your team. You’ll use your knowledge and experience to gain and develop trust between your team and our patients to help them through their journey into recovery and beyond.
