The Ogden Trust is a family charitable trust which supports the teaching and learning of physics. The Trust delivers professional development programmes for teachers of physics across England, supports schools and multi-academy trusts to improve their physics provision and works with universities to support high-quality physics enrichment.

The person in this role will work as part of the operations team to ensure that all Ogden Trust programmes are delivered to a high standard. The postholder will work with programme managers across teams to administer the activities of the Trust in line with agreed systems and processes. Remote working will be considered, but office based is preferred.

The role will involve administrative and logistical support across the operations of the Trust, including processing applications, event logistics, monitoring event/programme participation, data processing and communications support.

What does this role do?

• Track progress, manage risks and issues (RAID), and escalate concerns when necessary to maintain momentum.

The Deputy CEO Directorate (DCEO) plays a key role in overseeing Dogs Trust's internal operations, ensuring the effective management of the Charity’s financial, legal, IT, efficiencies, facilities, and governance functions. The Directorate works closely with senior leadership to support the organisation's Rehoming Centres, prevention programmes, and international efforts. Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Overall job purpose

This is a fundamental role within our South regional team, internally the role is known as Local Community Officer.

The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on communities supporting their local CCT church with funds, events, inspiring interpretation, visitor services and preventive conservation. The Local Community Officer will engage and support communities and volunteers to care for 29 historic churches across Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, ensuring each site achieves agreed standards.

The Church of England is continually striving to improve its safeguarding practices. The 2020 report by IICSA on the Church highlighted failures in respect of child sexual abuse and, more broadly, the challenges facing the Church to get safeguarding right.

The Church's aspiration is that safeguarding is not experienced and approached as a matter of administrative compliance. Rather, it should be what the Church is - something that flows from its core beliefs and values, part of its DNA.

The Church has made important and positive strides over recent years. There is, however, still much to be done to keep children and vulnerable adults safe, and to promote their well-being. The Church is a complex collection of different bodies. Most of the safeguarding work is carried out locally within the 42 dioceses and cathedrals in England. This work is supported centrally by a National Safeguarding Team (NST).

What you'll be doing

The Church of England seeks a committed and collaborative Safeguarding Policy Officer to join the National Safeguarding Team. This role is central to developing, revising, and implementing national safeguarding policies that protect and support all members of the Church community.

Working closely with Safeguarding Policy and Development Leads, you'll ensure policies are grounded in academic research, aligned with legislation and canon law, and informed by survivor experiences and Church-wide learning.

In this role, you will:

• Co-manage the development and roll-out of safeguarding policies, codes of practice and guidance
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including survivors, bishops, Diocesan Safeguarding Officers, and Church bodies
• Ensure policy relevance across dioceses, parishes, cathedrals, religious communities, and theological institutions
• Lead the coordination and improvement of the safeguarding e-manual
• Engage with NCIs departments to embed safeguarding policy into wider initiatives
• Support the NST's learning and review cycle to refine policies over time
• Represent survivor perspectives within policy, training, and quality assurance activities
• Provide briefings and respond to safeguarding queries from Church bodies
• Take ownership of non-legislative content creation related to safeguarding

The Newham Mental Health Team, based at Flying Angel, operates weekdays from 9am to 5pm, offering support to individuals with low to medium mental health needs both in the building and the community. JOB PURPOSE

SCOPE OF THE JOB

As Director, you will have a large amount of freedom to drive change, grow the charity, set the strategic vision going forwards and use your talents and leadership to ensure INSPIRE thrives. This is a key role at the heart of the organisation’s Corporate Services team, supporting the Chief Operating Officer and Board of Trustees to ensure high standards of governance and compliance. You will play a central role in preparing and circulating Board and Committee papers, taking clear and accurate minutes, maintaining registers, supporting audits, and tracking progress on key actions. You will contribute to risk assessments, ensure regulatory requirements are met, and provide trusted administrative support to the COO. We’re looking for someone with a solid understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and charity regulation, as well as experience supporting Boards and senior leadership. You will be experienced in preparing for and minuting Board and Committee meetings, able to manage multiple projects to deadline, and confident in upholding high standards of compliance and confidentiality. Tact, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll be working closely with senior leaders and trustees.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Resources, the Deputy Finance Director will work at the heart of the V&A’s strategic and operational decision-making. The postholder will provide leadership to the Finance and Procurement teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial management, business partnering, statutory reporting, and compliance across a complex, multi-site organisation.

Key priorities will include:

• Developing and delivering a multi-year strategic financial model to strengthen resilience and support commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities  

1) Membership and Engagement 

• Support the implementation of a membership engagement plan to help increase retention and highlight member value. 

• Help promote Imkaan’s membership offer and communicate its unique value to members. 

• Assist in managing communication channels and touchpoints for members. 

• Work with colleagues to ensure member voices shape Imkaan’s influencing work including through policy consultations, parliamentary events, and campaigns. 

• Support members to take part in key spaces (e.g. local partnerships, national advocacy forums, government consultations). 

• Help identify way for members to work together and ensure their priorities are reflected in communications.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with newer or underrepresented member organisations to ensure inclusive and equitable engagement. 

2) Member Services and Development 

• Help coordinate training sessions, and peer networks for member organisations. 

• Assist with supporting members' organisational capacity and sustainability planning across the membership base. 

• Coordinate day-to-day member engagement, responding to enquiries, providing information, and connecting members with relevant support 

• Maintain and regularly update the membership database, relationship records, and internal tracking systems 

• Organise regular member check-ins, surveys, and consultations to understand priorities and needs 

• Plan and coordinate member-only events and forums, including peer learning spaces, reflective practice sessions, and policy roundtables 

• Support the membership application, renewal, and onboarding processes.

Person Specification 

Essential Experience

• Strong understanding of intersectional feminism, anti-racism, and the political context for Black and Minoritised women’s organisations. 

• Proven experience in membership coordination or stakeholder engagement within the VAWG sector or related fields. 

• Experience in planning and coordinating both in-person and online events. 

• Experience administering grants, regranting programmes, or funding streams, including record-keeping, monitoring, and reporting to funders. 

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust across a diverse membership base. 

• Experience supporting or facilitating collective voice, advocacy, or influencing work. 

• Commitment to Imkaan’s values and to centring the leadership of Black and Minoritised women and girls.
