As our Senior Social Media Content Creator, you’ll lead the creation of mobile-first video content that brings the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) mission to life across our social platforms. 

In this hands-on, production-focused role, you’ll ideate, film, and edit social-first videos and Reels using mobile devices—crafting content that resonates with our audiences on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook. You’ll also design engaging visual assets, carousels, and graphics to support a wide range of campaigns. 

You’ll spend a lot of time out in the field, capturing real moments and authentic voices. Whether it’s a patient sharing their story, a nurse on the front line, or a researcher making breakthroughs, you’ll turn these moments into compelling digital content that connects with people and builds community. 

You’ll be at the heart of the action working closely with teams across the BHF and wider community to spotlight our work and mission. Your content will stop the scroll, start conversations, and inspire people to get involved. 

What you’ll do:

• Produce standout video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook
• Film, edit, and deliver high-quality mobile-first videos with quick turnarounds
• Design visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Curate and repurpose content to tell fresh, engaging stories
• Ensure all content meets brand, tone, and inclusivity standards
• Travel across the UK for live events, conferences, and on-location shoots 

About you: 

You’re an experienced social media videographer with a strong portfolio of impactful, end-to-end content. You’re confident managing the full production process, from planning and storyboarding to filming, editing, and publishing. You know how to create content that cuts through the noise and connects with audiences. 

You’re flexible, hands-on, and comfortable working independently in the field. Whether it’s interviewing patients and professionals on camera or editing footage into a polished final product, you bring creativity, empathy, and precision to every stage of production. You also thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with colleagues to ensure content meets the needs of our audiences. 

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience creating social-first video content for a major brand or organisation
• Strong mobile videography, editing, and storytelling skills

Working arrangements 
  
This is a fixed term contract until 30 Sep 2025 with potential to extend. 
  
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.  
  
At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, at least one day each week, on average.  The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.  

There will be a requirement for flexible out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity. You will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

As National Reconnect Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of a Reconnect programme, a vital service offering family support and mediation for young people aged 11–25 at risk of homelessness. You’ll manage a dedicated team of Reconnect Workers across multiple regions, ensuring services meet high standards, achieve key outcomes, and reflect best practice.

About the role

This new role will be part of our Supporter Engagement team, which includes Special and Challenge Events Fundraising, Community Fundraising, Individual Giving and Supporter Care. Our Special Events programme has expanded significantly in recent years, and we
have ambitious plans as part of our new three-year strategy. As part of this, we organise a diverse range of fundraising events, including a Comedy Night, Garden Party, Sports Quiz, Carol Service and Gala dinner.

Working closely with the Head of Supporter Engagement, the Special Events Officer will play a key role in developing and managing our special events programme. This includes overseeing multiple aspects of event planning and execution, collaborating with the Marketing and Communications team to produce high-quality event materials and ensuring that every event runs smoothly. Additionally, you will help manage key relationships and maximise fundraising income.

A key focus of this role will be leading the organisation of our annual Carol Service at St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, while also exploring opportunities to develop a new special event that diversifies our income streams and broadens our audience.
You will also stay ahead of industry trends, conducting competitor research and analysis to ensure our events remain innovative, competitive, and appealing to supporters.

Main duties

• Supporting the co-ordination and delivery of our special events programme.
• Manage the core elements of special events delivery such as the co-ordination of auction prizes, guest lists, guest requirements, admin and communications.
• Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to produce event materials including event programmes.
• Support the Philanthropy Officer with the organisation of our annual cultivation event.

We are looking for an empathetic, dedicated Immigration Adviser (IAA -- formerly OISC -- Level 1 or above) to provide immigration advice and help with casework for migrants facing discrimination, harassment or other harms in Belfast.

You must already be qualified as an immigration adviser via the IAA.

The advice service: 

Rights & Security International (RSI) is setting up a new basic immigration advice service for migrants most in need of urgent, free advice and casework. Our research indicates that Northern Ireland is an immigration advice desert, with not enough free, high-quality immigration advice to serve its diverse population. 

The focus of this project will be advising people who otherwise have no access to legal advice and support. 

We will offer basic immigration advice for the pilot version of this project and aim to begin with a small number of clients before gradually expanding.

Requirements: 

Skills and experience:

• At least two years of experience giving immigration advice and a good knowledge of immigration and asylum law. 

• Experience in professional, independent and impartial service delivery. 

• Experience in maintaining a caseload in line with IAA requirements regarding the conduct of cases, file management and supervision. 

• A demonstrable ability to communicate complex information to clients effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• Experience in working effectively with interpreters while supporting clients.

Vision of adventure, a small outdoor charity based in the Lake District , is seeking an experienced fundraiser to join our team. We specialise in working with people with visual impairments facilitating outdoor adventures, social connection and access to specialist coaching. To achieve this the organisation partners visually impaired individuals with sighted guides for residential weekends focusing on: long walks, canoeing, climbing, tandem biking, and more. The team comprises five part-time workers, numerous volunteers, and the board of trustees. We all work remotely, use each others first names, and have flexible scheduling.

The role of a fundraiser is paramount to our continued sustainability. You will be solely responsible for our fundraising initiatives. The charity has a commendable track record of raising funds, and you will be expected to surpass these targets as a professional fundraiser. An engagement officer will support your role by gathering feedback and preparing draft funder impact reports.

You will have extensive demonstrable fundraising experience. You will be personable, be an excellent communicator , make appropriate use of information communication technology, and capable of managing your own time and workload.

The role may suit someone who may be stepping back from a busy office environment, have a disability, or caring responsibilities where the remote nature and flexible scheduling would be an asset.

About the role

This a senior role within the SEHP team and will play an integral part in helping the team achieve their strategic aims. This role will work closely with another manager and provide cover for the National Manager.

Role specifics

We are seeking a strategic and proactive individual to manage a team and lead on the development and communication of SEHP’s policy positions to support the regeneration of empty homes. You’ll use your expertise to ensure policies are evidence-based and compelling, driving key objectives to bring privately owned empty homes back into use, ideally as affordable housing. A key part of your role will be leading on the publication of the Partnership’s impact report and collaborating with the Scottish Government, sector partners, and local authorities. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, offering consultation and guidance to local authorities, while developing practical strategies to increase affordable housing supply by bringing empty homes back into use.

Your leadership will also extend to supporting your team, providing management cover in the absence of the National Manager, and contributing to media opportunities. Strong communication, project management, and policy analysis skills are essential, alongside an ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external partners. This is a role within the Scottish Government funded Scottish Empty Homes Partnership (SEHP) team and will play an integral part in helping the team achieve their strategic aims. This role will work closely with external partners to manage projects and ensure objectives and timelines are being met and that learnings from the projects are shared.

Role specifics

We’re looking for a confident and proactive professional to lead on project and stakeholder management with external partners. You’ll have experience running project boards, facilitating meetings, and building strong relationships with colleagues and external partners. Taking ownership of your work comes naturally, and you’re comfortable managing multiple projects at once.

Strong communication skills are important and you’ll be confident writing clear reports and presenting to groups. If you enjoy working collaboratively and making an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
