For over 135 years, Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre has given children the chance to experience the seaside — often for the very first time. For many, it’s far more than a holiday. It’s a moment of safety, joy, confidence and belonging that stays with them for life.

As Holiday Centre Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of our Skegness centre, ensuring every child experiences a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment. You’ll oversee residential programme delivery, manage staff and volunteers, and take responsibility for safeguarding, health & safety and site operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You’ll design and oversee engaging activity programmes, support and develop your team, and ensure the highest standards of care and compliance. You’ll also play a key role in building relationships with schools and partners, helping us grow our reach and impact.

This is a full-time, permanent role offered on an annualised hours contract, reflecting the seasonal nature of our work — with busier periods during holiday delivery and quieter times for planning, development and preparing the centre.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong leadership background across digital, data or technology, ideally within a small, innovative organisation. This does not have to be at a senior level but evidenced in your application by mentoring/influencing and bringing people together.
• Credible technical knowledge and up to date understanding of developments in technology.
• Deep experience of working effectively with other professions and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience of service design in a charity, public sector or service delivery organisation.
• Demonstrable experience of developing DDaT teams, and of developing digital and data capabilities across an organisation, ideally in a charity or public-service context.

About the role

The Head of Campaigns & Influence will lead the development and delivery of Fawcett’s campaigning strategy, ensuring our work is politically sharp, driven by women's experiences, and capable of building momentum over time.

You will work across campaigns, public affairs, digital and membership, helping ensure that our external work is joined up, strategic and effective. You will also play a key role in connecting our national influencing work with the energy, insight and experience of our members, supporters and communities.

About the Role

Advice Giving

• Deliver a multi-channel advice service, including home visits, to clients regarding their energy needs and income maximisation support, ensuring advice provided meets the requirements of Citizens Advice quality standards.

• Ensure all case recording and other record keeping is completed within agreed timescales and conforms to the Office Manual and the Advice Quality Standards

• Use sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and to identify the next course of action.

• Use a range of information sources to find relevant information, then interpret and communicate this to clients, enabling them to tackle fuel poverty and financial hardship for the long-term.

• Assist clients with other related problems where they are an integral part of their case and refer internally or to other specialist agencies as appropriate.

• Meet the individual performance targets set as part of this project.

Research & Campaigning

• Take an active role in the research and campaigns process by identifying trends and social policy issues and communicating these to the Project Supervisor and Research & Campaigns Co-ordinator.

• Keep up to date with current research and campaigns priorities, initiatives and plans.

Administration

• Collect and record all relevant information given during interviews on to Casebook to meet the monitoring and evaluation requirements of the project.

• Pass the City and Guilds NEA Level Energy Awareness exam within 2 months of starting the role.

• If required, work from a variety of Citizens Advice Liverpool outlets across the city as required over the course of the week.

About the Role

The Energy Debt Specialist will provide a high-quality inbound telephone debt advice service to clients as part of our brand new Consumer Energy Debt Advice project. This project is for clients who have energy debt (amongst others) and is intended to reduce the impact of personal debt by providing them with debt solutions.

For a trainee post, this role would suit applicants with:

• At least 6 months' experience of delivering excellent customer service in a regulated environment such as banking, insurance, or a contact centre.
• Experience of achieving performance and quality targets/KPIs.
• An ability to work independently without close supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Experience of listening and questioning with an ability to manage challenging situations.
• Commitment to training and achieving full targets and quality requirements within a 3-month period.

Requirements

Person Specification:

1. To be appointed as an Energy Debt Specialist, you will need to have knowledge and experience of complex debt casework, covering priority and non-priority debt advice, options, and insolvency solutions.

You will also need to have the Institute of Money Advisers Certificate in Money Advice Practice or MaPS Caseworker accreditation equivalent. NEA Level 3 City and Guilds Level Energy Awareness would be desirable too.

In this rewarding frontline role, you’ll provide practical, in-home support to residents most at risk of fuel poverty, including low-income households, older people, disabled residents and families with young children.

You will help make homes warmer, healthier and cheaper to run, offering tailored advice, installing simple energy-saving measures, and advocating on behalf of householders with energy providers.

As a Home Energy Advisor, you will:

• Deliver one-to-one home energy support visits to vulnerable residents

• Advocate with energy companies to help residents secure better tariffs and resolve issues
• Develop strong referral pathways with local authorities, housing providers, health services and community organisations

• Promote the project within the local community

We’re seeking a dynamic and dedicated person who can think on their feet, someone with a caring nature who has a strong desire for helping people and is passionate about making a difference. You will need to be highly organised and adaptable as no two days will be the same.

You will undertake assessments, fit practical energy saving measures and then offer energy saving advice to residents.

It’s a unique and challenging role that gives you the chance to make a difference to people’s lives every day.

Appropriate qualifications in energy efficiency would be useful but not vital as we will provide full in-job training for the successful candidates.

The role: 

We are looking for an experienced community organiser to join the Northern Ireland team at a very exciting time. The role will be to build power by supporting communities to campaign for environmental and climate justice. 

You will also help grow a grassroots movement for change with a particular emphasis on supporting groups having to deal with unsustainable developments imposed on their community.

Although based in Northern Ireland you will also be expected to work with other related teams across these islands and share local to global stories of solidarity.

Key Skills and Attributes: 

You must be able to listen to, engage with and support communities in their local campaigns as well as joining up issues to effect Northern Ireland-wide change. You will have a deep understanding of campaigning at grassroots level, managing complex relationships and working with diverse communities of people. Ideally you will have a background in the environment/human rights.

In a climate and ecological emergency business as usual is no longer an option so you must be able to demonstrate an understanding of transformational change as well as the need for local and grassroots action. 

We are looking for a confident communicator with a knowledge of digital activism and other forms of communication. You will able to design and deliver support for grassroots networks. You will be flexible enough to juggle the demands of a multi-campaign organisation as well as responding rapidly and effectively to changing external circumstances.

Working directly with groups and activists which will sometimes require evening and weekend work.

The Northern Ireland team campaigns on a range of environmental threats – extractive industries, climate breakdown,nature depletion, water exploitation and industrial agriculture.We also support communities on the issues that are important to them. As well as community activity we use our collective energy to make transformational change and strategic interventions at local and central government level. The team can help on campaign strategy, planning and legal matters, the sharing of stories and, crucially, helping people to help each other to form a growing movement demanding change.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced communications professional to drive and deliver our global communications strategy and maintain momentum across our target regions during a period of parental leave. Selection criteria

Essential:

• Experience designing and implementing successful communications strategies  that support the delivery of positive social, corporate or political change. We imagine the ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience, but we are open to consider candidates with less experience who possess the required skills. 

• A high level of strategic thinking and an understanding of how to leverage different campaigning approaches to achieve objectives, including community organising and knowledge brokering

• A proven track record of crafting and landing compelling stories in high-impact media that advance campaign objectives

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Senior Legacy Officer to join our Individual Giving and Legacies team.

We support over 16,000 young people each year by providing accommodation, health support and life skills to help them move on from homelessness. Our ambition is to end youth homelessness by 2037.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering Centrepoint’s growing legacy programme, helping to generate over £2.5m annually and supporting our wider fundraising ambitions.

You’ll lead on the development and delivery of impactful legacy marketing campaigns, inspiring supporters to leave a gift in their Will and helping to build meaningful, long-term relationships.

Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll create compelling supporter journeys, use insight and data to drive performance, and manage agency relationships to deliver high-quality, multi-channel campaigns.

This role can be based in either our London or Manchester office.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering multi-channel legacy marketing campaigns (direct mail, digital, telemarketing and paid media)
• Developing and optimising supporter journeys to increase engagement and legacy pledges
• Using data, insight and a test-and-learn approach to improve campaign performance
• Managing relationships with external agencies and suppliers
• Collaborating with internal teams including Data & Insight, Communications and Supporter Care
• Monitoring budgets and ensuring campaigns deliver against KPIs
• Supporting the development of in-memory giving products and stewardship approaches

About you

We’re looking for a creative and data-driven fundraiser who understands the sensitivity and impact of legacy giving.

You will have:

• Experience in legacy, direct marketing or relationship fundraising
• Strong knowledge of supporter journeys and campaign delivery
• Experience managing external agencies and delivering campaigns end-to-end
• The ability to analyse data and translate insight into action
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, collaborative approach with a passion for innovation
