About the role 
We are recruiting a Van Peer Coordinator to support our Hepatitis C peer project in the Oxford & Thames Valley area. This role involves driving a van across the region and working with people affected by substance use and hepatitis C. 

Peers use their lived experience to raise awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and help people access testing and treatment. 

About you 
You will: 

• Be confident driving a van and travelling long distances 

• Have experience working with people affected by substance misuse 

• Have lived experience of hepatitis C, or experience supporting someone who has 

• Be reliable, compassionate, and well organised 

• Have good communication skills 

• Hold a clean driving licence (essential) 

What you’ll do 

• Recruit and support volunteer peers 

• Work with NHS hepatitis C teams, drug and alcohol services, and homelessness services 

• Coordinate education sessions and community-based hepatitis C testing 

• Support people into hepatitis C treatment and ongoing care 

This role requires regular travel across Oxford & Thames Valley.

Role Overview:

This is a new role. The HR Administrator will play a key role in supporting the HR function, ensuring efficient management of HR systems, accurate record-keeping, and smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and volunteers. This role also provides recruitment support, manages pre-employment checks, and assists with general HR administration.

Overall Purpose

To provide maintenance support to the organisation, ensuring premises are maintained at a standard that will serve the mission of Baca. This will include properties across Loughborough and 2 office sites.

Duties Responsibilities

• Organise and conduct required maintenance at all Baca sites. The below list is not exhaustive but some of the below skills will be required to fulfil the role; General Plumbing; bathroom and kitchen plumbing repairs, blocked toilets & sinks etc, Painting and Decorating, Basic carpentry skills, Meter Reading for electricity and gas meters, Fire Testing; routine testing of smoke and CO alarms.
• To become familiar and actively use the Baca’s maintenance management system which aids the reactive and planned works across all sites.
• Communicating with contractors, residential workers and landlords as required, ensuring repairs and maintenance is conducted when planned.
• Administering quarterly checks, quarterly cleans, health and safety requirements and annual servicing such as: PAT testing and Gas safety on properties and reporting issues for follow up.
• Working alongside the Premises Manager, administer the Health & Safety checks on all Baca properties including the offices, to ensure regulatory requirements are met and associated paperwork is completed.
• Support in the setting-up and closing down of properties and rooms between moves.
• Administering the setup and set-down of rooms for young people moves between Baca properties, ensuring the rooms are ready for new young people.
• Ensuring the office and car parks are clean and tidy, ensuring visitor experience is positive, professional, welcoming, friendly and helpful.
• Assist the Premises Manager and Finance Manager with year-end Fixed Assets verification.
• Supporting with other administrative activities in line with the team needs.

About Us:

Baca is dedicated to providing support and care to 16 to 18 year old unaccompanied asylum seeking children who are newly arrived in the country, helping them rebuild their strength, dignity, and hope for the future. We work closely with social workers and representatives from other agencies to benefit the young people in our care.

Role Overview:

As a Support Worker, you will be a key worker for several young people in Baca's care, providing high-quality holistic and therapeutic support for their transition to adulthood. You will deliver services in line with Baca’s Theory of Change, ensuring the highest quality outcomes in physical and emotional wellbeing, education, employment, training, social engagement, and personal safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support young people using trauma-informed approaches (including PACE and recovery models)
• Promote safety and safeguard young people from exploitation and harm
• Support emotional wellbeing, independence, and life skills development
• Encourage engagement in education, training, and community activities
• Maintain accurate and compliant records
• Work closely with social workers, schools, and partner agencies
• Contribute to a reflective, learning-focused team culture
• Be a role model, offering care and compassion without discrimination.
• Plan and participate in day trips and annual residential weeks.

About The Role

At Alzheimer’s Society, we believe no one should face dementia alone. Every conversation, every visit and every small moment of reassurance can make a real difference. We are looking for a warm, thoughtful and organised Dementia Adviser to join our supportive team in the East Riding of Yorkshire working 21 hours per week.

You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing ongoing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.

Your days will be varied and meaningful. You might be visiting someone at home, offering calm reassurance over the phone, or working closely with other professionals to make sure the right support is in place. We operate a triage system for new referrals and you will play your part in making sure people are responded to quickly and thoughtfully. You will manage your own caseload, keeping clear and accurate records, while always seeing the person behind the paperwork.

You will be part of a caring and dynamic local team who share ideas, reflect together and support one another. There will be time to meet as a team and opportunities to keep growing your knowledge of dementia, with your manager and colleagues alongside you.

About you

You will have:

• An understanding of dementia, or a willingness to learn about the experiences of people living with dementia and those who care for them.
• Experience providing information, guidance, advice or emotional support - this could be from health, social care, community, voluntary, customer service or other people focused roles.
• You will be able to listen and communicate, with the ability to build trust and rapport with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
• The ability to manage your workload effectively, with appropriate support and tools, and to balance competing priorities.
• Confidence using IT systems to maintain accurate and confidential records.
• A compassionate, non-judgemental and person-centred approach, with respect for diversity and individual lived experiences.
• The ability to travel independently across East Riding and wider on occasions.
• The confidence and ability to communicate with a wide range of people, adapting your approach to ensure understanding. You will be required to speak publicly at events about dementia, delivering information and signposting people to further resources and networks.

• Signpost and connect individuals to appropriate local services and community networks, reducing isolation and increasing access to support.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, contributing to reflective practice and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate and deliver regular peer support groups across East Riding, creating a safe, inclusive environment where people affected by dementia can share experiences, build connections, and access tailored information and guidance.

The Centre for Emotional Health is recruiting for a Training Administrator to work with our friendly and nurturing team, administering The Centre for Emotional Health’s trainings and assisting with customer relationship administration.

The Centre for Emotional Health is a national charity dedicated to everyone living an emotionally healthy life. We provide training for local authorities, family hubs, prisons, schools, workplaces and communities. We advocate nationally for the importance of good emotional health. All our work, including all the training we deliver, is underpinned by The Nurturing Programme.

We are looking for an organised individual with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience of a variety of IT systems. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the administration of The Centre for Emotional Health’s trainings pre- and post-training delivery, working as part of a busy Operations and Finance Team, and assisting our Business Development and Programmes Teams with customer relation tasks. You will enjoy working collaboratively and will feel secure in managing a fast-changing, busy workload as part of a wider team.​

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and administer all The Centre for Emotional Health trainings, overseeing bookings, venues, online training delivery, trainer, customer, and colleague liaison, and pre- and post-training documentation.
• Manage training communications and trainee feedback systems, maintaining accurate records and sharing information with customers and colleagues
• Nurture customer relationships in line with our organisational values, responding to queries by email and phone, and maintaining our website and CRM database.
