The Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to grow this vital area of income. Reporting into the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective financial management, control, and statutory reporting of the organisation and its associated entities. The Woodland Trust is looking for an experienced Conservation and Wildlife Officer to join the Snaizeholme Project team, supporting the conservation and long-term management of the Snaizeholme Estate. The role will focus on conservation-led wildlife management, including protecting and enhancing local Red Squirrel populations, habitat and species monitoring, and delivering practical land management across a diverse landscape. • Ensure wildlife management complies with best practice, environmental legislation and regional/national partnership frameworks.
• Maintain accurate survey and management records using IT/GIS systems, support health and safety compliance, and provide training and guidance where needed.
• This is a homebased role, requiring regular travel to locations within the Snaizeholme landscape and wider area, sometimes to remote locations. You would be expected to live within reasonable travelling distance of your area of responsibility. Occasional travel to regional offices and overnight stays will be required.

The Candidate:

• Experience assessing, monitoring, and managing wildlife and habitats to deliver conservation objectives, particularly in upland environments.
• Skilled in wildlife and habitat surveying, species identification, and practical conservation management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building experience with farmers, land managers, ENGOs, local authorities, volunteers, and community groups.
• Confident in public engagement, including presentations, guided walks, and volunteer coordination.
• Knowledge of conservation-led wildlife management, habitat survey methodologies, and upland land-use practices.
• Competent in Health & Safety management, including lone working, risk assessments, and working in challenging terrain/weather conditions.

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Funded Projects Officer to aid the success of our project delivery.

The Role:
•    Aid the successful delivery of projects through the development of realistic project budgets that inform internal decision-making and strengthen funding applications.
•    Monitor income and expenditure against approved budgets, highlight risks and implications, and help ensure the Trust remains in a healthy financial position.
•    Maximise grant income through organised grant claims, good funder relations and effective negotiations.
•    Report on restricted income within projects, feeding into budgets, forecasts and year end requirements.
•    Manage complicated funding packages, whilst avoiding double funding, and coordinate claims and reports for multi partner projects.
•    Ensure compliance with funder, Trust and statutory requirements, including VAT, procurement and funded-project guidance.
•    Produce financial and written reports for internal decision-making and for updating funders, project teams, management and senior leaders.
•    This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working, and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required no more than once a month on average.
•     This is a fixed term contract until March 2027.

The Candidate:
•    A confident communicator able to listen, interpret, challenge, influence and explain complex financial principles to non-experts.
•    Experienced in the development, production and monitoring of project budgets, including analysing implications, risks and assumptions.
•    Skilled in project management, delivery and grant management, ideally across multiple projects at any given time.
•    Able to develop and deliver high quality numerical and written reports, ensuring accuracy and spotting potential risks.
•    An understanding of funder rules, requirements and funding opportunities, maintaining good working relationships with funders.
•    Able to consider the impacts and implications of projects on Trust budgets, resources and funds, contributing to accurate reforecasting.
•    Experience working in a similar role or fundraising-related role in the charity sector would be advantageous.

About the role

We’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Head of Events and Community Fundraising to lead and grow one of WWF-UK’s most important fundraising income streams.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver an ambitious Events and Community Fundraising strategy, driving sustainable income growth across a diverse portfolio of challenge events, mass participation products and community fundraising activity.

You’ll lead the development and evolution of the existing portfolio while identifying and delivering new fundraising products, partnerships and opportunities that engage supporters and grow impact. Working across the organisation and with external partners, you will play a key role in ensuring WWF-UK continues to build strong supporter relationships and deliver excellent fundraising experiences.

We’re looking for a hands-on and adaptable IT professional who combines strong technical expertise with a commitment to social impact. This role blends operational IT leadership with vocational training support.

You will take ownership of technical quality across our charitable refurbishment programme while working alongside teaching staff to support vulnerable adults in developing practical industry standard IT skills. Your contribution will directly support our mission to reduce the digital divide and create pathways into employment through technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Refurbishment, Training & Technical Quality

• Act as the technical lead for all refurbished devices, ensuring consistently high standards for resale or donation
• Support teachers in delivering hands-on training, guiding learners through disassembly, diagnostics, repair, and software installation
• Carry out final quality control checks before devices enter the sales or donation pipeline
• Identify faults early and ensure devices are fully functional to minimise post-sale issues
• Evaluate incoming donations from corporate partners to determine refurbishment viability and processing requirements.
• Manage software installation and licensing (Windows/Office) across refurbished and internal machines

2. eCommerce & Sales Support

· Work closely with the Multi-Channel Sales Executive to support online sales activity

• Provide accurate technical specifications and condition assessments for listings
• Advise on pricing based on performance, battery health, and hardware configuration
• Help identify which devices are suitable for eBay versus community distribution
• Liaise with donor should there be any technical issues with devices
• Develop and implement ‘after-sales’ support for sold and donated devices.

3. Systems, Data & Infrastructure

• Oversee secure data wiping processes, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and data protection standards
• Manage the flow of devices through our CRM and inventory systems from donation to final use
• Maintain internal IT infrastructure, including network (Unifi Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN), patch panels, and server environment (IIS)
• Support hardware and systems including AWS environment, desktops, CCTV and display equipment
• Manage user accounts, backups, and disaster recovery processes to ensure continuity
• Provide general internal IT support across our systems

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Hardware to include laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphone hardware repair, diagnostics, and refurbishment
• Experience managing small networks (Unifi, LAN/WAN, patch panels)
• Familiarity with server environments and server management (IIS, SQL), CRM systems, and business tools such as Xero
• Solid understanding of data security, GDPR, and secure data sanitisation
• Comfortable managing both infrastructure and day-to-day IT support
