Location: Home based and flexible – able to work in Warwick and London offices occasionally, and at other locations nationally when required.

About the Role

You will also have experience of:

· Managing digital channels, including websites, analytics platforms, and social media accounts.

· Implementing SEO across digital channels.

· Monitoring and evaluating digital activity, with good analytical skills and ability to apply insights into practice.

· Digital audiences and using digital data to understand audiences.

· Managing external agencies and getting the most out of them.

JOB SUMMARY:

 To assist the Finance team with the day-to-day financial activities of International Medical Corps UK in ensuring appropriate finance management, accounting, control and reporting. The UK finance team, work in close collaboration with the finance team of our affiliate International Medical Corps based in LA and Split.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Appropriate and timely processing of accounts payable function;
•  Responding to payment requests using BACS and international transfers as appropriate
•  Timely disbursement of staff expenses; 
•  Set-up payments in the bank account in relation to UK suppliers and employees; 
•  Prepare vouchers for Foreign exchange transfers;
•  Tracing foreign exchange settlements and flag outstanding settlements;
•  Ensure uploading documents on Onbase Scanning and filing of bank statements, bank reconciliation, monthly folders for transactions during the month, third party documents and correspondence.
•  Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Typically, Bachelor's Degree in finance, Accounting Accounting. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
• Working towards a recognized accountancy qualification
• AAT qualified, ACCA, CIMA entry level;
• Proficient in using data analysis tools in excel for reports etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word Package;
• Prior experience of using ERM or accounting packages; 
• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and formulate messages in an engaging way.
• The ability to effectively analyse complex problems and suggest solution that would have positive impact on International Medical Corps needs
• Proficiency in English
• Additional language skills a plus

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sustrans as part of the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team as the E-Commerce Manager. 

In line with our ecommerce strategy, Sustrans has invested over the past years to increase sales through our e-commerce shop and now needs to find new approaches to maximise revenue.  

As the E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for maximising e-commerce revenue by optimising the martech stack, improving audience insights, product development/management and  promotion through digital and offline marketing channels.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the South East River's Trust's Finance and Operation's Team.  The team supports the organisation with a broad range of financial and administrative tasks, to ensure its smoothed running, development and growth.  The role would suit an individual with a financial background, who is approachable and organised, with excellent attention to detail, able to work on their own or as part of a team.

The role will report directly to the Finance Manager and will provide support in administering all financial controls and processing for the organisation.  The successful applicant will come from a financial background and have a strong understanding of financial principles with an accounting qualification.  They will have experience in bookkeeping, reconciling accounts as well as dealing with banking, grant applications and expenses.  Whilst this role focuses on the financial aspects of SERT, it will also play a key part in supporting with the set up of IT equipment, new financial systems and general IT queries, with help from our external IT supplier.

To be successful, they will need to be able to multitask, have excellent communication skills and the ability to support and advise staff across all teams.  They will need to have a positive attitude, be proactive and supportive in assisting the whole team with other administrative tasks as and when required.  This role is predominantly working from home, with at least one day per week working in the office in Leatherhead.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a small dynamic team, sitting at the heart of the organisation, making a real difference for the environment and the rivers in the south east of England.  This is a full time position, however part time working of 4 days per week (0.8FTE) would be considered.

NEF Summary:

At the National Energy Foundation, our team is forward thinking in its approach to home energy and uses its influence and projects to make meaningful change. Our primary focus is delivering projects aimed at alleviating fuel poverty and helping residents to feel warmer, healthier and more comfortable in their homes whilst also helping them cut the cost of their fuel bills. In the next five years, we will seek to help more than 170,000 households out of fuel poverty. Beyond this, we seek to encourage homeowners to make improvements to their homes to increase energy efficiency. To enable this, we deliver several projects aimed at encouraging retrofit of energy efficient heating systems into UK homes.

Job Role

The Finance Director will work with the CEO and the Finance team to collaboratively drive the development and delivery of the NEF’s strategic plans and budgets. The Finance Director will be a member of the NEF’s Senior Management Team (SMT) and will attend the quarterly Trustee Meetings.

Not only will the Finance Director take accountability for the day-to-day transaction processing, ably supported by an effective Finance Team of 3 people, they will take the lead on the budgeting, planning and analysis processes, developing a range of processes and reports to enable effective decision making.

The Finance Director will be the key contact for and work with the auditors, HMRC and other professional advisors and regulatory bodies to ensure that the organisation remains compliant and fulfils its legal responsibilities.

Management

o Manage the Finance function, providing leadership and support to the Finance Manager and their team of 2 analysts to ensure they are all able to carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.

o Provide strategic financial guidance to ensure that the NEF meets all its objectives.

o Contribute to the company’s overall business objectives and guide on financial strategy.

o Act as support and “Critical Friend” to the CEO, deputising for them where required.

Audit, Accounting & Reporting

o Take accountability for the production of timely and accurate financial reports, meeting the deadlines set by the CEO and the Trustees.

o Take accountability for all transaction processing including payroll, invoicing customers, and supplier invoice payments.

o Continually develop the reporting output to ensure that it meets the ever-changing requirements of the NEF and its Trustees.

o Be accountable for all finance systems, making recommendations for their development and implementing changes as necessary.

o Maintain relationships with the auditors, the banks, and other professional bodies.

o Work with the CEO and Trustees to compile and submit the Statutory Accounts and associated documentation.

Budgeting Planning & Analysis

o Working with the management team, set, monitor, and manage departmental and project

budgets.

o Develop and maintain a financial risk register to identify and mitigate against any potential financial challenges facing the NEF.

o Work closely with the Finance Manager and the COO in monitoring the financial performance of the projects and NEF central costs.

o Provide insightful analysis of any variances, making recommendations on how to maximise performance.

o Work with the Business Insight Lead to provide appropriate, timely and accurate information, advice and guidance to the CEO, the SMT and the Trustees.

o Agree the policy for reserves with the Trustees and monitor and maintain compliance to ensure the sustainability of the NEF.

o Support the CEO and Business Development Manger in the preparation of bid tenders and responses
