The Diocese of Coventry is seeking a Strategic Programme and Change Director to drive the development and implementation of our strategic framework. They will play a crucial role in developing the programmes and projects needed to deliver to the key commitments and vision set out in Our Shared Future. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Bishop’s Strategy Integration Group, senior Diocesan staff, clergy and lay leaders across the Diocese.

The role holder will:

• Facilitate and co-ordinate the development of the diocese’s strategic plan, working closely with the Bishop’ Strategy Integration Group, senior clergy and lay leaders across the diocese.
• Oversight of the strategic programme governance framework, including the approach to effective planning, monitoring and delivery of the desired outcomes.
• Act as advisor to the Bishop’s Strategy Integration Group and Coventry Operational Leadership Team in helping to create a positive environment for change, demonstrating an understanding/sensitivity to the impact of proposed changes.
• Lead on the development and submission of funding applications for strategic programme work and ensure the Diocese resources National Church initiatives and programmes appropriately and structures project teams and delivery frameworks accordingly.

The Role:

As the Director, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of the charity’s model for those in suicidal crisis ensuring its success and sustainability. In this demanding yet deeply rewarding position, you will be working closely and collaboratively with your fellow Co-Director, sharing 24/7 responsibilities, and report jointly to the Trustees.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of the charity’s services and model, being accountable to the Chair of Trustees
• Rebuild and sustain client's culture, ethos and values. - integral to the model
• Manage and supervise and be a hands-on member of a dedicated operational team, together responsible for service delivery 27/7
• Lead/oversee the training, selection, supervision and development of volunteers
• Collaborate with the Secretary to manage service support functions, including IT/systems, house facilities, and media/external relations

• We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated fundraiser to join Chetham’s as Senior Development Manager to manage the development team in securing over £600k of income per annum across Chetham’s School of Music, Library and The Stoller Hall. The Director of Finance Business Partnering (Operations) is a critical role within the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance division that will lead, develop and deliver high quality finance business partnering and decision support to all the central services of the university, including providing financial planning, reporting and insight across revenue and capital funded activity. 

You will support the senior Director of the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance function in development and improvement projects. • The position demands experience with designing fundraising strategies and good management skills for implementing strong, prioritised and focused work plans that achieve (or exceed) the agreed organisational goals.
• Overall responsibility of the annual revenue budget, ensuring reporting requirements as defined by the VP, International Development for monthly, quarterly, and annual budget and target monitoring.
• This position shall work in tandem with the global communications team to jointly create a positive, campaign-driven image of Smile Train in the United Kingdom.
• Manage Philanthropic Advisory Council of high-level Smile Train supporters.

Experience

• Minimum seven years' experience in senior level fundraising, ideally in a leadership role with oversight over end-to-end execution. 
• Knowledge of individual, corporate, foundation and major donor fundraising methodology including cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and prospecting of donors.
• Proven track record in leading fundraising and delivering income growth within a similar sized organization.
• Experience in a marketing and public relations role a plus.

Skills Required

• Minimum undergraduate university degree.
• Strong analytical skills, database proficiency and outstanding budgetary and financial skills, including target setting and monitoring and proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge and/or experience in marketing, fundraising acquisition, development and retention methods and budget management. 
• Experience in SalesForce or other CRM.
• Excellent communication (oral & written) skills in English.
• Experience in building, mentoring, and coaching a team of fundraising specialists.
• Awareness and knowledge of local fundraising market.

The successful candidate will be:

• A fully qualified HR professional.
• Experienced in managing staff.
• A fantastic communicator.
• Experienced in developing and implementing HR Strategies specifically related to learning and development.
