The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a reliable, conscientious and self-motivated individual to join the Inspire Management Information (MI) team as an MI Data Systems Manager.

Inspire provides a full MI service to the nine local authorities that make up the London East sub-region and we work in close partnership with wider London local authorities, career companies and other national partners to support the needs of young people through the intelligent use of management information. We have a reputation for providing insightful and informative data analysis to meet local and national requirements, always ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and security.

Key responsibilities of the MI Data Systems Manager include:

• Supporting the Deputy Director and Senior Systems Manager to develop, implement and manage the MI service.
• Monitoring of data integrity and quality within the database.
• Preparing the submission of mandatory management information to the Department for Education within set deadlines and to national standards.
• Supporting a MI helpline to users of the system.
• Interrogation of the database to conduct analysis and create reports.
• Developing and delivering training in the use of the database.
• Managing a team member.
• Taking lead responsibility for the production, analysis and presentation of MI reports.
• Maintaining a high level of understanding of all national requirements relating to the service.
• Contributing to effective teamwork and information sharing

Your role

As Shop Manager of Scope's Eastbourne shop, you’ll have autonomy to run your shop using your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You will have relevant experience in retail but a great attitude and willingness to learn is just as important.

The RSCM is on a mission to enable the flourishing of church music, and in particular to get children singing.

Working across the whole charity, you will work to sell existing products, courses and events, as well as membership subscriptions. With a passion for the power of singing and music, you will persuade musicians, teachers and members of church communities of the value of RSCM’s offerings. You will build and leverage a network of advocates to help spread the word, accelerating take-up and growing the RSCM’s reach in churches and schools.

The post holder will be expected to work to actively drive sales of RSCM products such as ‘Hymnpact!’ (a singing resource aimed at encouraging singing in primary schools), sales of events such as singing courses, and membership subscriptions; and in some instances voluntary giving. Some of the work will be in support of RSCM Enterprises, RSCM’s wholly owned trading subsidiary.

The sales plan will be delivered with some assistance of external contractors (e.g. social media), and with input from individuals across the organisation.

The post holder is responsible for selling to individuals, corporate customers (such as school federations) and organisations (e.g. choral societies) including through appropriate organisational networks. The holder will play an active part in suggesting, agreeing and delivering agreed KPIs and sales targets, monitoring and adjusting activities as necessary to improve results. Chetham’s School of Music is seeking a Senior Development Manager to join the internationally renowned specialist music school located in city centre Manchester.  Chetham’s is a magical place, home to the UK’s largest specialist music school, the oldest library in the English speaking world and a world-class concert venue all in the heart of Manchester.

The job

• We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated fundraiser to join Chetham’s as Senior Development Manager to manage the development team in securing over £600k of income per annum across Chetham’s School of Music, Library and The Stoller Hall. This is a great progression opportunity for someone currently working in fundraising.
• Supported by the Joint Principals, Head of Communications, the Creative Commercial Director and the Board: The Senior Development Manager will drive forward fundraising at Chetham’s and ensure that storytelling is used creatively to promote our vision – to make music and education more accessible, to enrich the lives of people in Manchester and beyond, and to improve wellbeing through the magic of music and learning. The role is ideally suited to somebody looking to grow into a senior fundraising role, and you will be supported by colleagues and mentorship from board members.
• Our development team is small but ambitious and includes a part time Development Manager and full time Fundraising Administrator. Working alongside our communications department, the development team manage a variety of income streams including a successful trust and foundation portfolio, donations, growing major donor and patron programme. There is opportunity to grow income from regular giving, legacies and corporate.
• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years fundraising experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and confidence working with a range of different stakeholders. Experience working in a similar arts organisation with a track record of securing five-figure gifts and a knowledge of database systems is highly desirable.
• This a full time, permanent role working 35 per week.

About the role

This new role within the newly formed Brand and Marketing Communications team will play a key role in our in-house creative studio, creating engaging and inspiring content. The successful candidate will develop creative concepts and bring them to life through innovative and inclusive design across multiple channels.

You will join our growing Brand and Marketing Communications team and work collaboratively with our in-house brand and digital teams as well as the wider organisation.

Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey has been established for over 100 years and is the major provider of services for people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted, and deafblind in Surrey.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and creative Corporate and Community Fundraiser to lead on the development and growth of income through businesses and local communities across Surrey. Through your wealth of fundraising experience, you will research and identify new partnership opportunities as well as manage existing relationships, to drive unrestricted income for the charity.

The post holder must have a minimum of three years fundraising experience and use their initiative, personal presence and drive to support all fundraising activity to achieve a substantial increase in unrestricted income.

The post holder will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to prioritise effectively and manage a busy and varied workload. This is an exciting opportunity to join the charity and play an integral role in growing partnerships across Surrey.

Principle Accountabilities:

· Research and identify new partnership opportunities

· Provide excellent account management to new and existing partners in order to meet key fundraising and engagement objectives

· Work collaboratively to generate income from partners through creative fundraising initiatives

· Represent the charity at local functions and give presentations when required

· Create engaging assets for applications and pitch presentations

· Deliver a calendar of community fundraising events, promoting awareness campaigns to supporters and building engagement with new audiences

· Support individuals and organisations fundraising for the charity

· Maintain accurate and up to date record keeping of written and oral communication with supporters.

· Attend evening and weekend events on behalf of Sight for Surrey.

Work Context:

The post holder will be highly motivated and organised to research, identify and build new and existing relationships with local businesses and community organisations in order to increase unrestricted income and engagement for the charity.

Sight for Surrey constantly needs to reassess its priorities in line with a changing funding environment and the needs identified by its members and service users.  These factors are crucial to the charity’s survival and need careful attention.  In order for Sight for Surrey to successfully manage these pressures there is a need for all staff to be flexible and work wherever their core skills are needed most.  No-one will be asked to carry out work for which they are not properly trained.

Job Purpose

This role sits within our new Men’s Minds project, based in Hounslow. The aim of the service is to improve men’s mental health outcomes by developing a mental health network supported and directed by the voices of its members.

This will be achieved through three service strands: 1) Peer support network, 2) Psychoeducation workshops, addressing common needs of men’s mental health 3) Outreach support to raise awareness of men’s mental health and promote this service.

The Men’s Minds Project Coordinator will work closely with the members in shaping the service and ensuring voices of men in Hounslow are heard and acted upon. This service will be staffed with 1 part-time (25hrs per week) Project Coordinator and a pool of peer led volunteers. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the volunteers.

The Role

The role of the Men’s Minds Project Coordinator is to arrange and coordinate a range of psychoeducation, and peer-led workshops which will be delivered weekly. With the addition of attending various community and stakeholder events to deliver the outreach strand of the service.

The role will require hybrid and flexible working: onsite for all the peer/psychoeducation sessions but the with expectation to be attending various community events and services to promote the service.

We work on developing campaigns, including the annual Anti-Bullying Week campaign, policy improvement and improving the anti-bullying practice of the children’s workforce.

As Project Officer you will support the school focused programme work of ABA; plan and deliver identified elements of project and programmes within the team; and, support ABA’s capacity to influence anti-bullying policy and improve anti-bullying practice.
