About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Advocate to join our team covering Warwickshire and Coventry. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as hospitals and care homes across the area to meet with clients and professionals and be home based for administration; therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential.
About you
Desirably you will have some experience of working in advocacy, or providing welfare, supporting, or caring for Adults or young people who have support needs, ideally for those with a variety of communication needs, mental ill health, physical health issues, or barriers to accessing education and support.
You should have worked or volunteered in health, social care, welfare, support services, education or young person’s services, or advice and guidance.
How will you make a difference?
You will be responsible for ensuring the individual’s wishes, feelings, beliefs, needs, and values are met to create positive outcomes for the people you support.
You will support people to speak up for themselves and grow in confidence, equip them to understand and exercise their rights and options, and will assist them in the decision-making process relating to their care, treatment, and support.
You will work resourcefully and collaboratively with the individuals you support. You’ll be creative in your approach to empower our clients by ensuring you meaningfully explain people’s options and rights to them. You’ll support individuals to fully participate in decisions affecting them and will make sure they have their voices heard.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supporter engagement strategy to bolster our supporter base and enhance engagement levels.
- Curate a tailored stewardship journey for major donors and legacy pledges, providing personalised communications and resources to foster continued support.
- Oversee the management of our supporter database/CRM, ensuring compliance with GDPR and all relevant legislation.
- Utilise data analytics to design targeted campaigns and initiatives aimed at expanding our supporter network across various channels and touchpoints.
- Lead church engagement efforts, forging and nurturing connections with local and national churches and networks.
- Collaborate with our Activities and Community Engagement (ACE) Facilitators to enhance engagement within our care homes and housing schemes.
- Drive regular prayer communications, fostering a culture of prayer support through various platforms including our online Prayer Wall.
- Organise and lead supporter-facing events such as exhibitions and conferences to facilitate meaningful interactions with existing and prospective supporters.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and share insights with internal teams to inform strategic decision-making.
About You
- Minimum of three years of experience in the charity or third sector.
- Proven track record in supporter engagement and database management.
- Good understanding of UK GDPR regulations.
- Familiarity with fundraising functions and project management.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Innovative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

We are looking for an experienced youth practitioner to manage our youth team and work within the enact team to develop a range of engaging activities and training opportunities for young people with particular focus on those aged 10 to 19 in the Enfield community.
The Senior Youth and Community Worker needs to be a passionate, enthusiastic and professional. They will lead the youth team to create community-based opportunities for the whole family, in accordance with the ethos and values of Oasis. The Information Events Coordinator will deliver our information events programme consisting of face-to-face and online events hosted by the team and held throughout the UK, developing the strategy for the programme and implementing event activity with the aim to increase participation and attendance.
You’ll be responsible for the planning, co-ordination and delivery of the events, including marketing and promotion, as well as logistics and resourcing. You’ll be required to attend several weekend events throughout the year so should be able to travel across the UK as needed.

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this role will lead and manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships to an excellent standard. As well as managing and supporting the development of strategic partnerships, the post-holder will build relationships with multiple stakeholders to develop long-term commitment to Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. You will collaborate across the Trust to develop innovative and compelling funding proposals, delivering excellent stewardship to existing corporates and identify, research and engage new prospects.
