About the Service
Islington Refuge Service provides emergency accommodation to women and children fleeing domestic abuse and sexual violence. Sessional play workers deliver high-quality safe fun activities that include a combination of enrichment activities, physical games and sports and nutritional education to children up to the age of 14.
About the Role
As a Children Sessional Play Worker, you will be involved in the planning and delivery of a variety of sessions and activities for children and young people at the refuge. This includes listening to children’s ideas to design services around their needs, choices, and aspirations. You will support and involve children in activities which are playful, stimulating, and enjoyable.
You will work alongside the Family Support Worker, encouraging all children to take part and have as much fun as possible whilst helping to develop children's learning, well-being, and social skills.
About You
You will have experience of working with children and you are passionate about play as well as dedicated to providing a welcoming and safe space for all children - supervising the children and ensuring their safety at all times.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on children as well as practical experience of working with children and within a team. You will also need to demonstrate a proven ability to work on your own initiative and under supervision. A minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in child-care /play/ youthwork /sports/coaching or creative arts is desirable. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment.

The role is centred around coordinating high-quality activities for children. Given the nature of this role, we are unable to offer hybrid working for this position.

About the Role
As a Psychological Therapist for Refugee Council, you will deliver specialist, culturally responsive psychological therapy and psychosocial interventions that improve the mental health, wellbeing, and resilience of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and young people across East Sussex. Financial Operations & Reporting
· Process day-to-day financial operations via Xero, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.

· Process PAYE, NI, and pension for timely submissions.
Systems & Process Development

The Floating Support Worker will complete risk and needs assessments, develop safety and support plans, and provide ongoing support to survivors of domestic abuse whose level of risk has reduced to medium risk following specialist intervention. The postholder will hold a caseload of survivors requiring practical, emotional and advocacy support to help them increase their safety, access appropriate services, regain independence and work towards their longer-term goals.
We're looking for someone who is highly organised and self-motivated as well as being passionate about ending gender-based violence. You have a “can-do‟ approach and will show demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer.
Additional Information
This is a part-time, hybrid role at 18.75 hours per week. The postholder will work 1.5 days remotely and one day per week from the Enfield office.

North Wales Community Law is a young and ambitious charity with a simple vision: that everyone in North Wales should have access to the legal advice they need to uphold their rights, challenge injustice and improve their lives.
Since opening in 2023, we’ve established a housing legal aid service, developed strong partnerships across Wales and the UK, and built a growing reputation for high-quality, community-based legal advice.
We’re now looking for an experienced charity leader to work alongside our Board of Trustees to lead the next phase of our development.
This is a varied role combining strategic leadership, governance, fundraising, partnership development and organisational management. You’ll work with a committed team, an engaged Board and a wide range of partners to build a financially sustainable organisation that delivers lasting impact for communities across North Wales.

The Part-Time Facilities and Operations Assistant plays a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of The Thornbury Centre. Working alongside a small team of staff and volunteers, the postholder will help ensure that the Centre remains safe, clean, welcoming for all users, tenants, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
This is a varied and hands-on role, involving assisting the Centre Manager in building operations, room set-up, health and safety checks, basic maintenance tasks, and supporting the delivery of activities and events. As a public-facing member of the team, the successful candidate will be friendly, approachable, reliable, and committed to providing an excellent experience for everyone who uses the Centre.
The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the life of the local community by helping to create an environment where people feel welcomed, supported, and able to participate in a wide range of activities and services.
