The LDF is the employment body that serves and supports the Diocese of London and Church of England. The Diocesan of London comprises of c400 parishes north of the River Thames and within the M25 motorway.
The Diocese of London (LDF) is seeking a Community Engagement Lead to play a key role within the Children and Youth team, based from Pimlico, London.
Responsibilities
Community Engagement
- Engage stakeholders through various media channels, identifying stories and trends.
- Facilitate learning among churches and ensure they understand available support.
- Use email, social media, and Mighty Leaders for interaction.
- Maintain engagement rhythm with the community.
Content Creation
- Develop content to support Growing Younger initiatives.
- Capture impactful stories from across the diocese.
- Collaborate on shaping narratives and promoting resources.
- Support in capturing project impact and enhancing digital content.
Other duties
- Support diocesan communications featuring C&Y.
- Provide creative input for youth events.
- Coordinate promotion schedules and assist in event management.
- Analyse and report on community engagement impact.
Ideal candidate
Essential
- Qualification in communications or marketing practices, or equivalent.
- Experience managing email lists and social media accounts, including scheduling tools.
- Understanding of communications strategies.
- Empathetic to the mission and values of the Church of England.
- Passionate about youth work.
Desirable
- Experience using graphic design software.
- Experience in communications or marketing roles.
- Experience in running livestreams online or hybrid events.
- Managing real-time / social media platforms.
- Handling marketing data and analytics software.

Graphic Designer (Mid-Weight)
We’re looking for a skilled, experienced and organised graphic designer who can contribute to the organisations goals by bringing their accuracy, attention to detail and creative flair to all of their work.
This is an exciting and challenging role, which will involve working collaboratively with different teams across the organisation on a wide range of projects.
Position: Graphic Designer (Mid-Weight)
Location: Swindon/hybrid
Hours: Part time, 3 days per week
Salary: £30,450 pro rata (£18,270 actual)
Contract: Permanent

The Role
You will work within the wider Marketing and Communications department on design projects from concept through to delivery across the corporate brand, sub-brands and engagement resources, as well as the culture-facing and fundraising activity, delivering across a range of print and digital media.

You will have experience in print production, delivering high-quality results and producing design assets for digital outputs across web, film and social media

We are looking for an enthusiatic and creative Mid-Level Graphic Designer. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that align with CCX's mission and branding guidelines. Working within our hybrid management model, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions for various projects and initiatives.
Your designs will play a crucial role in effectively communicating our message and equipping leaders within the Church for discipleship in new and renewed ways.
Duties and Accountabilities
● Designing print and digital materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, website assets, course material and other promotional materials.
● Collaborating with project teams to understand project requirements and objectives, and translating them into visually engaging designs.
● Maintaining and adhering to CCX's brand guidelines across all design work, ensuring consistency and alignment with our mission and values.
● Participating in brainstorming sessions and contributing creative ideas and concepts to enhance project outcomes.
● Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve design deliverables.

Your role

We are looking for someone to help us promote the work of our diocese, which covers our churches in Edinburgh, the Lothians and the Borders.
The Diocesan Office of the Diocese of Edinburgh is a small friendly team. It includes the Bishop, the Dean, the Diocesan Administrator and Bishop’s PA, the Adviser for Christian Life, and a number of part-time officers The office supports the work of the 53 charges (church congregations) around the Edinburgh Diocese, which stretches from Falkirk across to Dunbar, and from the Firth of Forth down to the English border.
The Diocese of Edinburgh is one of seven dioceses in the Scottish Episcopal Church. We work closely with our counterpart colleagues at the Provincial General Synod Office and in the other six diocesan offices around Scotland. 3 As with any small organisation, there is a need for employees to be able to work flexibly and collaboratively alongside others.
You would
- promote the diocese internally and externally

Do you have experience in:
- a communications, digital communications or marketing related role
- using Content Management Systems such as WordPress
- creating social media content in a professional capacity
- creating, sourcing and editing content such as copy, images and videos
You will need to:

- be able to foster effective working relationships
- have excellent organisational skills
