We are seeking a Risk and Internal Audit Manager to lead our risk management and internal audit initiatives. This critical role involves developing a robust risk management framework, conducting thorough internal audits, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements. About the role

As the Risk and Internal Audit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying our organisation by overseeing both risk management and internal audit operations. You will develop and manage CARE International UK’s risk management framework, maintain and update the organisation’s risk register, and provide regular risk management reports. You will also develop and execute an annual internal audit plan, ensuring compliance with recognised auditing standards. Your role involves coordinating with various CARE entities and overseeing specialist audits in areas like cybersecurity and GDPR. International travel will be required to support CARE International UK funded programmes.

The Consultant role will support the Director and Mobilise team to coordinate and  deliver a range of projects supporting our clients. This new and exciting role is well suited to an individual that enjoys building new connections, working with and supporting people and organisations to learn and develop, values working to a high standard and wants to bring about change. Key Terms 

• Salary Range: £27,500-£38,000 (FTE), depending on experience

As a Money and Debt Coach (Omni-Channel: Telephone & Video), your primary role will be
to provide financial coaching and ensure that over-indebted clients receive tailored debt

Detailed case records

Your role

We are seeking a Senior Fundraising Leader to secure funding from diverse sources to support our program and initiatives. The ideal candidate has senior-level fundraising experience at an NGO, organisation, or charity, a strong and established network of executive relationships in major foundations, and a proven track record of identifying and closing deals in the range of 1-5 million USD. The fundraising leader will develop relationships with potential donors, identify fundraising opportunities, and manage the grant application process.

The role incorporates a high level of processing requiring attention to detail and accuracy and is a critical role to Refuge.

Must haves:

* High proficiency in financial modelling techniques.

An exciting position has arisen for a Financial Accountant to work for an excellent West London Community Based Charity to provide some critical support to year end. The postholder will be assisting the Head of Finance produce the annual accounts and preparations for audit.

Key responsibilities:

• Planning, preparation, and delivery of statutory reports, publications, external audits, and drafting the annual report and accounts within agreed timetables
• Supporting the Head of Finance in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all the Trust’s financial records
• Working with the Head of Finance, complete and document the Charity’s rent lease incentive calculation (FRS102 on work related to lease incentive and adjustments)
• Producing a detailed audit schedule in a timely manner for review 
• Preparing monthly reconciliations and be responsible for the integrity of those
• Responsible for VAT accounting and carrying out adjustments
• Processing journals ensuring that all accounting entries are supported by working papers for analytical review and audit
• Be responsible for documenting year-end processes in the work of the Finance team
• Understanding the structure of the Trust and apply FRS102 on work related to lease incentive and adjustments

Successful candidate profile:

• Experience of drafting statutory accounts
• Expertise of working with partial exemption VAT
• Experience of working with service charge accounting and reconciliation
• Excellent finance system skills and advanced Excel user
• Experience of demonstrating FRS102 knowledge
• Experience of managing month end and year end processes
