About the Role:
As the Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our Retail Manager to maximise sales and ensure the smooth operation of our retail business. You’ll be part of an enthusiastic Retail team that values collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Retail Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals.
- Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team, including staff and volunteers.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and a welcoming store environment.
- Manage inventory, merchandising, and store presentation to align with brand standards.
- Oversee daily store operations, including cash handling, reporting, and compliance.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts.
About You:
- Experience: Previous experience in a store management role within the fashion or furniture industry is essential.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills with proven line management experience. Experience managing volunteers is highly desirable.
- Attitude: Positive, proactive, and passionate about driving change. A “can-do” attitude and optimism for the future are a must.

Elim Housing is on the lookout for an experienced leader who has excelled in senior-level finance roles within the housing association sector for at least five years. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant, and a management qualification would be a bonus! In this pivotal role, you'll oversee finance and IT as well as Risk and Audit, serve as the company secretary, and play a key role as a full member of the strategic leadership team. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape the future of the entire organisation, including their commercial subsidiary, Lime Property Ventures.

Key Skills as a Director of Resources:
- Strong experience in leading financial strategies, treasury management, budgeting, and value-for-money processes.
- Strong accountancy knowledge with a recognised accounting qualification
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and upskilling finance teams whilst driving high performance.
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory, statutory, and financial reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to manage risk, contracts, and internal controls to ensure compliance.
- Strong communication skills to represent the organisation to customers, stakeholders, and staff.
- Previous experience contributing to and influencing business strategy at a senior level.
- Experience in managing audits from start to finish
Key Responsibilities for a Director of Resources
- Overseeing all financial reporting
- Responsible for the Finance, IT, Risk and Audit
- Acting as Deputy for CEO
- Signing off any new development plans
- Leading budget process and drafting budgets

Over the last few years, NHYC has grown to a team of over 50 staff. This role will add capacity to our current Admin Team, supporting the organisation with increased demand around finance, admin and resources. You will work as part of a small, yet critical team to ensure the organisation and our services run smoothly. You should be well organised, a great communicator, and experienced in or willing to learn financial procedures. The role is based at our day centre in Camden.
