Job Title: Financial and Partnership Accountant (Maternity Cover)

Location: Rhodes House in central Oxford – hybrid working with 2-3 days in Rhodes House

Contract: Fixed Term – 14 months

Hours: Full-time

Salary: £60-70k per annum

We have a brilliant opportunity for a Financial and Partnership Accountant to join the Rhodes Trust in Oxford. We are looking for the successful candidate to start with us as soon as possible.

The role

An interim opportunity has arisen to cover the key specialist responsibilities of the Senior Accountant, who will be on maternity leave from mid-October 2025 to the end of October 2026. This role includes acting as the lead financial accountant, preparing financial statements under Charities SORP, and overseeing the management of the annual audit.

The Rhodes Trust’s financial year ends on 30th June, with the audit conducted in late September and clearance expected by late October. While there are several qualified accountants within the team, this position requires specific expertise in Charities SORP financial accounting.

The successful candidate will be onboarded in time to support and shadow the 2024/25 year-end process and audit, and will then lead the process for the 2025/26 year-end. This presents an excellent opportunity for a financial accountant with Charities SORP knowledge to gain substantial experience in a highly sophisticated setting.

Additional responsibilities will include quarterly reporting to our external partners and oversight of key operational elements that support the management of operational risk in a well-structured, complex, but established environment.

The role will be responsible for;

• Financial accounting, including preparation and finalisation under Charity SORP, including multi-currency group consolidation;
• Audit lead (with support from other qualified accountants and the FD) with an established auditor;
• Confidential business partnering with respect to staff costs (with an outsourced payroll);
• Review and supervision of transactional activity for the partnerships, within a strong control environment;
• Quarterly management reporting to external funding partners;
• Full participation in an established and highly competent and collaborative departmental leadership team;
• Modelling value-based leadership to junior staff;
• Any other reasonable tasks as agreed with the Finance Director;

• Role modelling the Trust’s organisational values of commitment, inclusion, belonging, growth and innovation.
• Carrying out any other duties relevant to the role, as requested.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• ICAEW/ACCA Qualified;
• Experience of the preparation of consolidated group financial statements under Charities SORP, with complex fund accounting in a multi-currency environment;
• A full understanding and experience of the processes of external audit
• Excellent interpersonal skills and can-do attitude;
• Confidence and familiarity with multi-dimensional accounting software;
• Advanced excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, conditional formatting etc;
• Collaborative team player;
• Superb attention to detail;
• A deep commitment to the values, ethos and mission of the Rhodes Trust.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Experience using Sage Intacct;
• Well versed in using expense management systems;
• Strong background in an operational environment;
• Experience with Salesforce for donor or relationship management.

About the role 

We are looking for a Senior Business Support Officer to support the Chief Finance and Operating Officer in the overall management of the function. You’ll have ownership of regular Operations Leadership Team (OLT) meetings and support our leaders in reporting to OLT, the Senior Leadership and Executive Teams, and Trustees.

A key part of the role will be support for effective and efficient governance, working closely with colleagues across Operations to optimise and support.

What you'll do

• Support the CFOO in the overall management of the Operations directorate, including administrative support for the CFOO.

• Understanding the business calendar, reporting and meeting structures and developing and maintaining excellent systems to ensure the Operations team meet and support all organisational deadlines.

• Develop and maintain knowledge of the charity including strategy, key projects, initiatives, clients and stakeholders.

• Support the CFOO in the preparation of formal papers for SLT and ELT meetings, and for trustee board and subcommittee meetings.

• Overseeing the collection and reporting of departmental performance indicators.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for building and establishing a new PMO function within the charity, leading a team that is responsible for efficient and effective project delivery, accurate and timely performance measurement, and informed reporting that enables data driven decision making.

You’ll design a governance framework that ensures projects are planned and executed smoothly and efficiently, ensure performance measurement is built into the work we do and develop a streamlined reporting mechanism to capture and present project data in a single, consolidated pack for Directors.

This is an exciting time to join Liverpool Zoe’s Place and the Finance Manager is a new post for the organisation. The Baby Hospice transferred to the new charity on May 1st 2025 with great potential for commissioning, and with a healthy financial platform due to the generosity of businesses and the public in Liverpool. This is a new start for Liverpool Zoe’s Place and our plans for a brand new state of the art hospice are agreed and we will move into the new hospice by June 2026, with all the required funding in place.

This post is to manage and co-ordinate the smooth running of the finance department ensuring all processes and procedures are streamlined, efficient and produced in a timely manner. This will involve the management of daily financial matters and overseeing the production of the monthly management accounts for both the hospice and its commercial companies. Your role in our vision

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced Corporate Partnership Lead with a strong track record of growing, and managing high value Retail, strategic and commercial partnerships that exceed income targets and help to drive societal change. The successful applicant will be the external face and day to day lead for Marie Curie’s large, high-value corporate partnership with Morrisons.

 What you will be doing 

• Leading the day-to-day management and growth, of one of our high value partnerships, focusing on staff & colleague fundraising, cause related marketing and project funding to meet and exceed financial targets.

• Working with the Senior Corporate Partnership Lead to identify strategic opportunities within the retailer that achieve partnership goals, support business objectives, and enable the partnerships to drive societal change.   

• Leading on the development and delivery of robust, creative, and commercially strong partnership plans, stewardship, communications, and fundraising plans, and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve this.

• Achieve and exceed financial targets agreed and report on all financial arrangements with corporate clients ensuring that all income and expenditure is accounted for and appropriately included in the budget. 

• Undertake day to day line management duties including setting objectives, holding regular one to ones, coaching and identifying development opportunities to nurture the talent of the team.

 Key Criteria: 

• Proven track record in Strategic partnership and project planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation in a commercial corporate-charity partnership setting.

• Experience of identifying, prospecting, and securing income opportunities with corporate partners.

• A creative thinker with an eye for detail who can come up with innovative ideas for company approaches, fundraising, communication, and stewardship campaigns.

About the role
The Client Services Manager utilises our CRM to manage the Charities team inventory requirements (products including charity entries and advertising packages) across the London Marathon Events portfolio. This role supports the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the charities team systems and processes to ensure our team can work efficiently, maximise the use of our CRM to support sales and charity customers communications, and give our charity partners a best-in-class customer experience.
 
Key Responsibilities 
 

• Lead the charities advertising asset management process, working with internal teams to confirm timelines, roles and responsibilities and ensure tools and workflows are used efficiently to deliver partners benefits on time and on budget. 
• Support      with registration platform system testing, feedback, management and      development.  
• Deliver      charity entries and advertising sales product set-up, testing and roll-out      in Dynamics. 
• Support      in improving processes for all systems used by      the Charities team.
• Represent      the Charities team as a subject specialist on business improvement project      groups supporting to scope and test our team’s      requirements.  
• Utilise      Dynamics, our CRM to analyse buying patterns and sales to provide the      sales team with deeper customer and products insights to help identify      opportunities to strengthen charity relationships or product      offerings.
• Working      closely with the Dynamics team to optimise the use of our CRM for charity      customers, including segmentation and targeting, sales performance      reporting. 
• Support      the Senior Client Services Manager with the relationship management of our      partners (Enthuse, Let’s Do This), reviewing performance to spot      opportunities or trouble shoot challenges.  
• Contribute      to data selection procedures and technical solutions to import data,      identifying opportunities for improvement. 
• Support      the maintenance and cleaning of our data and support the team to use our      CRM consistently. 
• Document      Client services processes. 
• Representing      the team at project boards. 

 
 About you
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across a range of audiences. The ideal candidate will be a confident user of Microsoft Office 365, with advanced skills that support efficient and high-quality work.
 
Experience in undertaking data selections for targeted marketing mailings is essential, along with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects from start to finish. You’ll need excellent organisational skills, coupled with strong analytical thinking, time management, problem-solving, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in this way within a charity’s fundraising team or equivalent would be desired but not essential.
 
A keen eye for detail, active listening skills, and a proactive approach to teamwork and collaboration are key to succeeding in this role. If you’re someone who takes ownership of their work and thrives on delivering high standards, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Messaging & Community Planning

• Lead the communications calendar—ensuring every campaign, product, and moment is messaged clearly and cohesively.
• Build storytelling strategies for different community types: cause-driven, emotional, spiritual, and humour-led audiences.

Owned Channels: Website, Email, Social & SMS/Whatsapp

• Regularly update our WordPress website keeping copy fresh, compelling, and campaign-aligned.

Community Building & Engagement

Offline Presence & Integration

• Co-lead and host in-person “Rightio” masterclasses and community roundtables capturing stories and feeding them into digital comms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

What will I be doing?

• Own the operational management and administration of CRUK's organisational-wide digital asset management (DAM) system

Rape Crisis South London is looking for a skilled and experienced professional who is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. 
 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of the South West London (SWL) Child Sexual Abuse Early Emotional Support Service for the CYP service. Working closely with the NHS and Schools you will manage a small specialist counselling team ensuring high-quality, trauma informed support for our young people who have experienced sexual violence. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding legislation for children and adults, as well as child development. 
 

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to develop partnerships with schools, families, funders and other key stakeholders. You will hold a relevant professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and be registered with the BACP/UKCP or equivalent. You will have significant experience of working therapeutically with children and young people, ideally in the contexts of trauma or abuse. 
 

Responsible to the Clinical Lead for CYP you will also provide additional support in the management and allocation of referrals, as well as provide additional support and advice as required to the wider CYP Service.
