You will be responsible for cultivating a portfolio of prospects and donors through a range of engagement, to gain their financial support for programmes, projects and the wider RSPB. Working with colleagues in relevant departments, countries and regions, you will manage donor relationships and solicitation strategies to achieve the best outcome for the RSPB.

What's the role about?

As a team player with a positive and diligent approach, you will:

• Look after your own portfolio of donors as well as reaching out to prospects and new donors. You will be responsible for fundraising information to advance plans and ensure prospect and donor records are accurate, incorporating any changes, new activities, updated plans, and new information as well as adding new relationships in keeping with data protection and team procedures.
• Work closely with your team and wider organisation colleagues to implement solicitation strategies, to secure financial support either by direct solicitation, preparing a written proposal, or working with senior management to make a solicitation.
• Be involved in the development of funding proposals for approved priority projects that will inspire potential donors to secure gifts.
• Contribute to the planning of and participate actively in events (face to face and online) to build relationships with donors and prospects for future income and to demonstrate the impact of gifts already received.
• Arrange meetings with individual donors at a variety of venues, including at our reserves, working closely with area and reserve colleagues to deliver an excellent experience for our supporters
• Be jointly responsible for the planning, writing, production and mailing of Philanthropy Matters, our publication aimed at philanthropic supporters.
• Build effective relationships both within the RSPB and external to it that will enhance its reputation and ultimately secure funding. This includes understanding donors’ wishes and aspirations and identifying links with approved priority projects with the aim of securing substantial gifts.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Intermediate levels of fundraising as demonstrated by work successes and recognised fundraising courses
• Experience in how to research and cultivate a prospect. And understanding of how to write a cultivation strategy
• Ability to write funding proposals and prepare briefing documents in advance of meetings and events
• Competent in the use of a CRM system (Salesforce), the Microsoft suite, other databases, research tools and methods
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members, and people and teams outside of our department
• Good judgement when working with donors and ability to recognise potentially sensitive areas between prospects and the RSPB to ensure reputational values are maintained
• Experience of having successfully managed and developed donor relationships leading to substantial support.

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

• Experience or interest in the environmental sector

Individual Giving Manager

The Individual Giving Manager in the Mass Fundraising team will work closely with the Senior Individual Giving Manager and Mass Lead to develop the programme across membership, lottery, raffle and digital fundraising.

As Individual Giving Manager you will:  

• Lead on the RNID weekly lottery, which this year will be launching private site face to face recruitment
• Manage our two annual raffles
• Support the Senior Individual Manager with the review of our Membership programme and deliver the recommendations
• Support the Senior Individual Giving Manager and Mass Lead to set budgets and conduct regular reforecasting of your area
• Develop, test and improve new digital fundraising channels

You will be an experienced Individual Giving fundraiser with a strong track record of marketing and generating income. You will have excellent project management skills and enjoy working across teams to meet shared goals and objectives.

You’ll work closely with the Marcomms team on marketing plans and concepts that will inspire donors to give and stay to our case, allowing us to grow a sustainable programme. You will use evidence and insight to deliver an audience led programme, driven by a test and learn culture. You will create, test and iterate new products and be comfortable in developing audience profiles and propositions to support these products. You will have experience in managing supporter data to ensure compliance and maximise effectiveness of our campaigns.

About the role:

As the Supporter Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for the stewardship of new and existing donors to becoming regular Single Homeless Project supporters. In your role, you will be responsible for building and delivering a successful supporter engagement campaigns focusing on:

• Building and growing relationships with our fantastic supporters throughout their journey with Single Homeless Project.
• Supporting with the management and delivery of a portfolio of fundraising events.
• Developing and delivering engaging digital campaigns and content through our online portfolio of products and emergency appeals.
• Working with internal SHP departments to create new concepts for supporter engagement.
• Stewarding new and existing donors to become regular supporters of Single Homeless Project.

Please note the role will follow a hybrid working model, with two days working in our head office in Kings Cross and 3 days WFH.

About you: 

• Highly numerate and attentive to detail, with strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically. 
• Entrepreneurial, results-driven and able to work on own initiative and also as part of a team, meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Experience of working on digital campaigns and understanding of PPC advertising.
• Experience working with other internal departments to maximise collaboration and impact between the teams.

As a Regional Partnership Manager, you'll make a mark on our Corporate Partnerships team, winning and creating exciting new partnerships for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

This is a home-based role with some travel (approximately 2-3 trips per month) to meet with partners, prospects, and Community Fundraising teams across Scotland, North West and North East of England. As this is a regional role and given the current pipeline of opportunities, we are looking for candidates who live in the North East or North West of England, or Scotland.

About you

The Role:

Oxfam GB is looking for a Supply Centre Logistics Manager.  The Oxfam Supply Centre supplies high quality, value for money specialist equipment to support humanitarian relief programmes all over the world, both for Oxfam’s own programmes and for other NGOs. 

The Supply Centre Logistics Manager plays a pivotal role in the team, managing all warehousing and international transport operations and systems to ensure the timely and efficient availability of equipment, services and related information to our internal and external customers.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 Good management level experience of logistics , inventory management, warehousing and customer service.

• Strong people management skills and experience.
• Strong IT Skills and experience of contributing to the development and improvement of ERP systems.
• A high level of adaptability to deal with rapidly changing operational situations whilst maintaining core standards and procedures at all times.
• Working knowledge knowledge of freight forwarding and import / export procedures.
• Experience of working with people of a wide variety of nationalities and cultural backgrounds.

· Strong working knowledge of all types of fundraising partnerships, including sponsorship, cause-related marketing, and Charity of the Year.

· Excellent account management skills, with proven experience managing five- or six-figure partnerships.

· Proven experience securing new partners at five- or six-figure levels.

· Strong commercial acumen: the ability to understand other organisations’ commercial objectives and build mutually beneficial agreements that deliver value for Bliss.

· Influencing and leadership skills, including demonstrable experience of effectively working with senior colleagues and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: 

· Proven experience of writing bids to successfully secure five- or six-figure and multi-year grants.

· Excellent relationship management skills; the ability to quickly build trusting relationships with funders, partners and colleagues of all levels.

· Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling cases for support.

· Influencing skills, including demonstrable experience of effectively working with senior colleagues and/or external stakeholders.
