The Opportunity
The Business Development Director will have strategic responsibility for income and growth, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to maximise business opportunities. You will lead development of key partnerships with new and existing stakeholders, commercialisation of services, and lead the communications and marketing strategy. The post holder will lead the Business Development Team, developing collaborative partnerships and leadership as part of the SLT and by supporting the Leeds Mind Board of Trustees. In collaboration with CEO and SLT, you will inform the strategic direction and deliver against key performance indicators in creating a progressive and agile culture. You will lead the implementation and development of income generation, developing and implementing strategies to drive all income streams to drive growth. You will develop a pipeline to maximise income from corporate partnerships, (including training), whilst looking at diversifying the portfolio to generate new business
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience/success in a leadership role in Charity Income Generation and sustainable business development
- Working knowledge of Charity Income Generation and regulations
- Good understanding of bid framework, commissioning, and tendering
- Experience of Third sector and charitable trusts
- Proven experience in devising, managing, and implementing a budget, financial modelling including meeting/exceeding targets.

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, unlike NHS emergency services, is a charity. This free life-saving service is provided 24/7 by helicopters and rapid response vehicles.
Each critical care team consists of a pilot and co-pilot, a pre-hospital care doctor and a critical care paramedic.
They can be rushed to the scene with life-saving support equipment to deliver advanced clinical care, usually only in the hospital emergency department.
Once stabilised, the patient will be conveyed to the most appropriate hospital by air or land.

The Eve Appeal, working together with the Department of Health and Social Care, is delivering a groundbreaking programme on gynaecological health to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in London and beyond.

About the role
This role is responsible for managing and developing the charity’s portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, securing significant gifts and growing the long-term potential of this portfolio (target for 2024 is £378,000). About you
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience and a proven track record of successful income generation and delivering against targets.
You will have demonstratable experience in researching potential Trust funders, submitting compelling proposals, securing funding and project managing successful bids through to completion of the grant award.

• Develop relationships with the Senior Management Team and other key stakeholders across the charity maximising every opportunity for cultivation and development
• Plan and organise opportunities for funders to view Kidney Care UK’s work first-hand, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed and met.
Reporting
• Compile comprehensive and compelling progress reports to feed back to grant makers in a timely fashion and incentivise continued support
• Alongside the Director of Finance prepare accurate budgets detailing spending of specific grants
• Draw down on any multi-year grants as outlined in our annual budget

We are looking for a Legacy and In Memory Lead for an incredible hospice, to be responsible for managing the implementation of the legacy (gifts in Wills) and in memory strategies and developing annual delivery plans.
This is a Hybrid role with 4 days a week in the Essex office.

The Role
Lead the delivery of planned activities and promotion of legacy and in memory fundraising products to achieve budget net income and grow the active support base.
Project manage all elements required to deliver planned activities.
Work closely with the Marketing team to develop on and offline marketing materials for legacy and in memory fundraising activities.
Support with line management of the Supporter Care Assistant where necessary.
The Candidate
Significant demonstrable and relevant experience of in memory and/or legacy fundraising.
Experience of developing and promoting in memory and/or legacy fundraising products.
Experience of using a variety of on- and offline channels to deliver successful marketing campaigns to acquire and develop donors / customers.
Experience of managing income and expenditure budgets.

At St Nicholas Hospice Care we are looking for a Community Fundraiser to join our experienced team and help support our large network of dedicated supporters.
2024 marks the 40th Anniversary of St Nicholas Hospice Care with a number of exciting fundraising events in the pipeline, so now is the perfect opportunity to join the team and ensure the Hospice can provide for those in our local community for the next 40 years.
As a Community Fundraiser you’ll be the face of St Nicholas Hospice Care out in the community. Your role will involve engaging with supporter led events throughout West Suffolk and Thetford, ensuring our fundraisers have all the expert help they need to make their activities as successful as possible.
You will also work closely with the Community Fundraising Manager and wider fundraising team to help deliver a number of key Hospice events throughout the year, such as Bury Hidden Gardens and our Light Up a Life events as well as encouraging you to come up with your own fundraising ideas and initiatives.

Today we are the leading patient-led support organisation for families affected by blood cancer in the Southwest and we also now provide transport and counselling services.
Like many charities, we had a couple of difficult pandemic years which affected our fundraising activities. However, through careful stewardship and the commitment of our staff and volunteers we are positive about the future, the importance of our work and the impact it has on the people we support. We are now looking for an experienced fundraising professional to become our new Development Manager.
We will need you to support the development and delivery of the charity’s fundraising strategy, with focus on individual giving, legacies and grants. You will have a track record of engaging with stakeholders and be able to develop a strategy for increasing income through individual giving.
We are looking for someone who can offer substantial experience working in a fundraising position and driving an income-generation strategy with demonstrable success in securing gifts of six figures and above from a range of donors.
