Job description

Events Assistant
Daily rate £133.33 PAYE (made up of £118 candidate pay and £15 holiday pay)
4- 6 week contract, 3 days a week in London Office

The Talent Set is delighted to be working with an esteemed membership association, to recruit a temporary Events Assistant supporting the team across creative projects. The ideal candidate will have events and administrative experience, ideally across membership and or education establishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of events, including conferences
  • Assist in liaising with suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event logistics
  • Help with the setup, day-to-day coordination, and post-event breakdown, ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining accurate records and reports


Person Specification:

  • Passion for events and previous experience in event coordination or administration is essential, experience across membership and or education establishments is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrating initiative and a willingness to be adaptable with a problem-solving mindset
  • Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks
  • Previous experience in event coordination or administration is essential
