- Strong planning, organisational, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines and achieve both team and individual goals, including managing relationships with Macmillan supporters, volunteer groups and meeting key metrics such as, supporter retention and increasing fundraising targets.
- Impactful written and verbal communication and influencing skills to enable you to engage, inspire and deliver key messages combined with experience of collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively acquire new business and new relationships through targeted acquisition including research, completion of applications, and presentations to supporters/companies/groups to secure new income and/or relationships.
This role is home-based with mobile working. Your home base needs to be in the stated region (or close to the area) as on a weekly basis you can expect to work across the region to meet with supporter’s face to face approximately 2 to 3 days a week. As such, you must have a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle or the ability to travel frequently across the region.
There will be a requirement to attend in-person team meetings based in the area on a quarterly basis and other parts of the UK when our wider fundraising territory and department get together.
There will also be a requirement for flexible and out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity and you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to increase awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and promote access to testing and treatment for people living with hepatitis C.
Do you have experience of working in drug services and with volunteers? Have you been affected by hepatitis C, or have you supported anyone who has hepatitis C? We are looking for a passionate and skilled peer lead who has excellent communication and organisational skills. We require a good standard of education and welcome creativity and innovation in all our work.
Alongside a growing team, these posts will continue the development and delivery of the Hepatitis C peer project, recruiting and supporting volunteer peers across the North East Somerset area. Working in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post will coordinate delivery of educational workshops, hepatitis C testing in community settings, ensure that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care.
These posts will require extensive travel across the region and it’s desirable the postholders have a clean driving licence and have their own vehicle for work related travel.

Experience with volunteer management systems, CRM databases (such as Salesforce), and Microsoft Office will be beneficial. A strong understanding of GDPR, safeguarding principles, and best practices in equality, diversity, and inclusion is also essential.

Mare Street is a 68 bed, high support hostel working with clients experiencing multiple disadvantage. It is a busy, fast-paced environment providing an opportunity for Project Workers to gain broad experience of multi-agency work, safeguarding and incident management alongside the Complex Needs Worker based at the site and a variety of in-reach services. The staffing structure comprises two Senior Project Workers in addition to a Manager and Deputy, providing future progression opportunities for the right candidate.
1 x Support Worker – Women’s Hostel, North London (* Women Only)
30 bed hostel providing an invaluable (and unique within our region) single-sex provision to women. Project Workers within this service will have the opportunity to work alongside our Domestic Abuse Navigator, Complex Needs Team and local specialist services including Pause and Open Doors. This role will particularly suit candidates with experience of or an interest in creative, trauma-informed work with women experiencing multiple disadvantage. The staffing structure comprises a Senior Project Worker in addition to a Manager and Deputy, providing future progression opportunities for the right candidate.

The Role:
• To directly lead the team and be responsible for the line management of team members
• To operate as a Team Leader across different streams of support and ensure effective running of services with the support of other senior staff.
• To undertake within your duties direct support to service users.

• To engage with service users and build trusting therapeutic relationships.
• To undertake assessments of new referrals and ensure robust review processes for those who use the services
• To work closely with other professionals and agencies to provide a coordinated personalised service, which meets the identified needs of individuals, promotes their recovery and maintains their quality of life.
• To deputise for the Mental Health Manager in relevant work areas when required. To provide staff supervision and management, undertaking initial assessments and liaising with other professionals and agencies.

The St Mungo’s Somewhere Safe to Stay, West London team provide a rapid response service, intervening to ensure no one needs to sleep rough.
As an Assessment and Reconnection Worker, you will:
- Be part of a busy team environment working closely with people new to, or at risk of rough sleeping.
- Provide a personalised case management service to clients, turning assessment recommendations into practical action plans which fully involve the client.
- Build and maintain effective relationships to support clients throughout their recovery.
- Develop a knowledge of relevant legislation such as welfare benefit and housing legislation.
- Work on the weekly 24/7 rota including weekends and bank holidays, in Mixed Shift roles (Including - early and late day shifts)

Across our services we support people through semi-independent Housing, specialist mental health or complex needs accommodation and a variety of other accommodation options. We are committed to working with a Recovery Based Approach and supporting people to meet their individual needs.

Supports rough sleepers and those at risk of rough sleeping with complex needs with independent living skills, especially tenancy sustainment and routes into training and employment. Supports 23 single homeless people aged 18-65 with additional support needs, including those around social isolation and life skills.
