We are working in partnership with The Meath Epilepsy Charity, who are looking for an experienced Interim Head of Care, to oversee a large professional team and multi services that specialises in supporting and protecting people living with complex epilepsy and healthcare needs.
The Interim Head of Care will oversee the care services, providing line management, guidance and advice in all areas of standards, legislation, CQC requirements, safeguarding and KLOEs, supporting the Registered Service Managers to deliver the best possible person-centred care in an enabling environment.
The Meath Epilepsy Charity, whose aim is to enhance the lives of people who have complex epilepsy and related disabilities, by ensuring they receive the support, expert care and encouragement required to build confidence, acquire new skills and maximise independence in their daily lives.
You will hold an appropriate Health & Social Care qualification, QCF Level 5, with experience of inspection processes with CQC and be able to ‘hit the ground running’.
You will demonstrate:
- Understanding of the fundamental standards and KLOEs, knowledge of the safeguarding regulations and required notifications to CQC.
- Ability to develop multiple teams to a high standard and achievement level, instilling a culture of performance and teamwork, and effective handling of employee relations issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders, including general public, trustees, professional bodies.
- Effective management of a number of services and multi disciplinary staff teams.
- Experience with Mental Capacity Act and DoLs and be able to guide and mentor managers through the process.
- Your ability to present KPI’s and adjust information sharing alongside trends and changes.
Ideally with 3 years in a senior management post in the care sector you will have previous experience in change management, the successful candidate will provide a strong management presence, developing people and practice, and establishing/modelling the positive culture of the company is fundamental to successfully carrying out this role.

VOICES are excited to be seeking our first full time fundraiser to support our growth and development. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, oversee and actively lead the implementation of a fundraising strategy which exploits a wide range of fundraising opportunities, maintains diverse and sustainable income streams, and builds the organisation’s voluntary income capacity to meet its aims and objectives.
- Oversee and support the development of fundraising, with consideration to diversifying our income avenues.

- Attend Finance Committee meetings and the Board of Trustees, reporting on fundraising and progress against the strategy.
- Help to grow the name of VOICES, through use of relationships, partnerships, marketing and communications.
- Work closely with the Centre Administrator to agree a planned approach to social media.
- Working with the VOICES team, consider the role of volunteers in VOICES – taking management responsibility for any fundraising volunteers.
- In line with our trauma-informed ethos, adopt a trauma-informed approach.
- Work with clients, including the Lived Experience Group, to hear their ideas for fundraising and enable their participation in events / volunteer opportunities where appropriate.
- Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of key stakeholders including Clients, funders (including trusts, companies, major donors), Trustees and volunteers.

About the role
This hands-on role will lead the implementation of global communications strategies for ITF’s Land and
Air Sections (LAS): Aviation, Railways, Road Transport, Tourism and Urban Transport.
The LAS Communications Manager will work closely with the industrial sections and affiliates to push forward a union-led agenda for the aviation and inland transport industries.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team, this role will work collaboratively to deliver and evaluate forward-thinking communication strategies for these industrial work programs and their priority campaigns. The role will include targeting diverse audiences including transport workers in the industries, employers, allies, media, policy makers, political leaders and the wider public. The role will also play a crucial role in ensuring that section’s industrial priorities and issues are reflected and integrated in organisation-wide communications priorities and areas of focus.
Fundamental to this role will be an ability to develop expert knowledge and keep on top of policy and industrial issues facing aviation, railway, road transport, tourism and public transport workers, and effectively interpret and analyse the complex issues and challenges into communications strategies that advance workers’ rights.
You will be part of delivering solidarity and support to local, national and global disputes, building communications that reinforce the critical role transport workers in the land and air industries play, developing strategies to support union-led policies on everything from health and safety to sustainability, and raising the volume on the global struggle to advance the rights and equalities of the world’s transport workers.

You will be responsible for achieving the organisation’s admissions income and visitor number targets and building its profile externally. This role oversees all marketing, PR, digital, internal communication, branding activity and fundraising efforts focussed on individuals and Corporates undertaken across the organisation. This is an exciting time to join the museum, as it begins to plan for two important anniversaries in 2027, 10 years since the museum opened and 100 years since Mail Rail first began operation.
Marketing of the museum is at the heart of the job, and good experience is needed for that function. It is not necessary to have direct experience of managing a development role if you have had experience of working on fundraising campaigns or with fundraising colleagues. The Postal Museum is a young museum with developing practice and so, they are more interested in recruiting someone with the enthusiasm, work ethic and curiosity to develop in their career than someone who knows everything about marketing and development but cannot think beyond that. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of working at a senior level in a marketing or communications role, together with experience of developing, implementing, and delivering PR, Digital, and Marketing strategies to achieve sales targets. You will have experience delivering successful integrated marketing campaigns with demonstrable ROI, and a proven ability to motivate and lead teams, advise, and influence senior colleagues. You should have experience of building and managing a brand, as well as building and managing relationships with media contacts, partner organisations, stakeholders, and agencies.

1. Background
Chance to Shine is a national children’s charity. We change young people’s lives through cricket giving them the opportunity to play, learn and develop through the sport. We keep them physically active, teach them vital skills like teamwork, communication and leadership. And above all, they have fun.
Since 2005 our Chance to Shine Schools programme has helped reverse the decline of cricket in state schools with millions of boys and girls in over 13,000 state schools playing and learning through cricket. Chance to Shine Street supports young people in under-served communities to access and benefit from cricket in a free, inclusive, fun and fast-paced tape ball environment.
The Fundraising Team is tasked with helping Chance to Shine achieve its ambition. Securing new funding partnerships and the stewardship of existing donors across a range of funding streams: Corporate, Events, Trusts and Foundations, Individual giving, and statutory funding to support the delivery of Chance to Shine programmes.
The Head of Fundraising role will play a key part in leading the Fundraising team to success.
This is an exciting time to be joining the Fundraising team as our programmes are well established with excellent support from key stakeholders, especially ECB and Sport England.
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and pro-active individual with a strong track record in fundraising to help drive the charity forward. The role does not require an understanding of cricket but does require an enthusiasm towards changing children and young people’s lives. The role is office based at The Kia Oval, London, however we operate flexible working and as such team members currently work from the office on average about 2 days per week. The role of Head of Fundraising will need to be flexible to attend meetings with prospective supporters and stakeholders.
2. Purpose of the role
The Head of Fundraising will report into the Director of Strategy & Fundraising and will lead the Fundraising team to successfully deliver ambitious departmental plans which will form the cornerstone of what the charity is able to achieve.
The Head of Fundraising will work closely with the Director of Strategy & Fundraising to ensure that the Fundraising department’s work is well-aligned to wider organisational strategy. This will include setting ambitious, but realistic targets with clear implementation plans.
The core function of this role will be to lead and support each strand of the fundraising team; Individual Giving, Events, Trusts & Foundations and Corporates whilst being proactive in helping to source new opportunities to enable the team to thrive.
This role will be expected to deliver advice and guidance across all fundraising areas, helping to get the most out of a dynamic and passionate team.
In order to extend and enhance our work, the postholder will work closely other departments, partners and stakeholders.
3. Key Responsibilities
The Head of Fundraising responsibilities include:
• To develop and ambitiously build upon an annual income base of around £2.5m in private fundraising across all areas within the Fundraising team.
• To lead and manage the Fundraising team (currently seven employees) to achieve ambitious targets. With specific line management responsibilities for four team members in the areas of Corporate partnerships, Individual Giving, Trusts & Foundations and Events.
• To pro-actively source and secure new opportunities across all areas of Fundraising
• To support the CEO and Directory of Strategy & Fundraising to establish high-level partnerships, deputising where required.
• To work with the Director of Strategy & Fundraising to continually develop, manage and assess performance against plans within our Fundraising strategy.
• To identify and engage with other charity partners and organisations to find opportunities of mutual benefit to our income and programmes.
• Work with all other departments as necessary to ensure we successfully achieve our aims and ambitions both within Fundraising and the wider team.
