As a fully trained Homicide Family Caseworker you will be responsible for managing your own complex caseload to the highest quality standards.

You will need to be able to travel to home visits within, and occasionally outside of area, and therefore a driving license and use of a car are essential. You will be reimbursed for all travel costs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the form of a Remind Intensive Engagement Support Worker to work with our Remind Dementia services supporting people living with Dementia and their carers. Are you passionate about working with women who have complex support needs and

are experiencing homelessness or are you at risk of homelessness?

We are looking for a Support Worker to work as part of a service that provides late-night and early-morning outreach for women who are sex working and supports women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Note: This post is exempt under Sch 9 Pt 1 of the Equality Act 2010 and is only open to female applicants.

Position: Centre Support and Outreach Worker

Salary: £26,800 - 30,800

Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week (Working pattern includes 1 outreach shift per week, which

is carried out between 9 pm and 1 am. Usual working hours are 8.30 am – 4.15 pm)

Location: London, Stockwell

About the role

The Post Holder will work within Spires’ Women’s Service. This service is comprised of:

A dedicated nighttime outreach service to support women who are involved in street-based sex working. This includes follow up work, casework, and multi-agency working.

Centre-based support for women with complex needs who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This also includes casework and supporting Spires’ Housing and Homelessness team.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Supporting a caseload of clients

· Completing one nighttime outreach shift a week (this is carried out in the Spires car)

· Supporting in the running of Spires’ women’s drop in services

· Supporting Spires’ Housing and Homelessness service where required

· Representing Spires to external stakeholders at multi-agency meetings

· Ensuring detailed and accurate records are kept of all client work.

About you

You will have previous experience of working with people exhibiting complex needs and people experiencing homelessness. Ideally you will have experiencing supporting women with some of the following support needs: substance addiction, mental health needs, domestic violence, no recourse to public funds and sex working.

You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:

· Experience of challenging appropriately and maintaining clear and appropriate boundaries.

· Networking and effectively liaising with specialist service providers or agencies in order to establish and/or improve access to services for clients.

· Sound understanding of the issues faced by women and other individuals involved in sex work.

· Understanding of the legislation around supporting the victims of Domestic Violence.

· Understanding of the effects of trauma on people and how to work in a trauma informed way.

· Good understanding of safeguarding practices in outreach work, social care and/or day centre environment.

· Good understanding of confidentiality and working with sensitive information.

About the organisation

We are looking for a Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker – All risk to join our team in Stockport. You will undertake individual sessions and group work with people who are causing harm in their relationships and are seeking support to change their abusive behaviours.

To liaise with referring agencies, actively contribute to risk management procedures and team working. TLC: Talk Listen, Change are looking for a Children and Young People’s Rapid Response worker to deliver a crisis service for children and young people aged 5-18 living in the Wigan area who have been arrested following the use of harmful and physically violent behaviours towards their parents / carers. The service is trauma informed, supporting young people to change their behaviour through work with both them and their families. The service will provide a rapid response for young people at crisis point working intensively with individuals and families for a short period of time, and work closely with youth justice teams and other services in the area.

The role

As a Key Worker, you’ll be a game-changer in the lives of young individuals, shaping their future by identifying their struggles and initiating paths for improvement. You’ll collaborate with various agencies, becoming an essential bridge to the resources they require, and implement effective risk management procedures with the support of senior staff. You’ll also serve as a mentor, delivering a variety of program materials focused on prevention, early intervention, and behaviour modification in both one-on-one and group settings. Additionally, you’ll engage with the parents/carers of these young individuals, ensuring they are part of the solution, and make appropriate referrals for partners/ex-partners and children connected to them. ELMS consists of 4 supported houses, a small floating support service and a day programme for adults experiencing severe, enduring mental health problems. The service is commissioned to provide longer term placements, with varying lengths of stay. This role involves travelling between the houses and working some weekends.

About the role:

Project workers will work with clients at their own pace to develop their independent living skills as much as possible, manage their prescribed treatment, develop their living skills, develop & manage relationships and build social networks. Where possible you will assist them to access education, training or employment, by completing comprehensive needs and risk assessments with clients and identifying short-term objectives.

As a Project Worker you will take part in all aspects of the day to day running of the schemes, working as part of a shift from Monday to Sunday.  You will be required to work with clients effectively; providing support via structured key working.  You will also carry out assessments including risk assessments and goal setting via SHP support planning.  All Support plans will aim to promote SHP’s values and practices.

You will be responsible for implementing holistic support strategies to address the emotional, practical and housing management needs of residents of the project. This includes assisting residents with maintaining their mental health, practical daily tasks and maintaining a safe, clean, living environment.

The role will form a pivotal position within the schemes as Project workers are the point of contact for daily events. This might include structured group work, you will also support the project leads with activities and support case-holders to carry out allocated tasks.

About you:

• A working knowledge of severe and enduring mental ill-health, and the interventions and effective approaches to supporting individuals experiencing such conditions.
• A Person-Centred support approach and the ability to create collaborative support plans, build rapport, and foster collaboration with residents.
• The ability to learn and apply the principles of planned support and goal setting.
• The ability to understand and apply the principles underlying a quality and customer focussed service and a willingness to work in a way that empowers our clients.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively, prioritising different areas of work according to need.
• The ability to coach someone to undertake a range of practical tasks relating to living independently. 
• The ability to engage and relate positively with people from a range of backgrounds and cultures.
• A willingness to work a rolling shift pattern on a rota, Monday to Sunday.
• The ability to use IT applications and basic keyboard skills, excellent levels of literacy and numeracy.

To provide safety planning, support, advice and assistance to women and their children who have experienced domestic violence and abuse and are staying in the refuge.

The focus of this role is on preventing domestic abuse by provide support, advice and assistance to adults and their children affected by domestic abuse and are staying in refuge/safe accommodation and ensure that they are provided with secure, high-quality accommodation. 

The post-holder will work to empower and support women and children to make positive choices and will establish resettlement services to support women and children to move on from refuge/safe accommodation.

To participate in the delivery of the on-call out of hours on a rota basis. There are 2 positions avaialbe one working with Adults only and the other working with Adults Children & Young People. Please advise of your preference when applying.

Housing First is an innovative approach to supporting the most, excluded and hard to reach clients. It focuses on finding housing first; and then addressing the issues that have contributed to an individual’s homelessness. 

The Housing First service aims to support hard to reach clients with complex needs; by sourcing independent tenancies and providing intensive support into long term accommodation. By adopting a flexible, creative and personalised approach, the service aims to support individuals to manage their tenancies in the community and rebuild their lives.

In the role of Housing First Worker you will work 9-5 hours Monday Friday; working with a person centred approach to support clients in their own homes as well as in the community. 

• You will be responsible for managing a small caseload of clients day to day, delivering ongoing and intensive support to help people set up their home, with the overall goal of supporting them to sustain their tenancy and achieve individual goals and aspirations. 

• You will develop the skills to build and maintain effective relationships with local partner agencies to support clients throughout their recovery.

We are looking for a Youth Participation worker to plan, deliver and support our LGBTQ+  
face-to-face and virtual work.  
Working within the LGBTQ+ team ensuring the project delivery and successful completion of funding contracts. Building relationships with LGBTQ+ providers

Provide a safe space for young people who identify as LGBTQ+. The groups are focused on supporting LGBTQ+ young people to come together, explore their questions & identities, learn about LGBTQ+ culture, find local community, make friends and have fun 

Key Responsibilities  

Delivering services to children and young people 

• Engaging with young people in face-to-face groups and 1-1 sessions to motivate, inspire and encourage potential

• Support to plan and deliver our LGBTQ+ sessions ensuring continued support is given by Eikon to young people; putting young people first, ensuring we offer the right help at the right time 

• Contact new young people and parent referrals to ensure suitability for group or 1-1 support 

• Support the LGBTQ+ team in ensuring young people are involved in the planning, delivery and evaluation of youth work 

• Ensure that parents and carers are involved in the planning, delivery and evaluation of the peer parenting work 

• Signpost CYP to relevant support services for additional support where needed 

• Listening to and supporting young people showing empathy, and understanding, remaining non-judgmental and caring 

• Escalate any safeguarding concerns following Eikons safeguarding process and procedures 

• Ensure accurate and timely case recording, including ensuring case note processes are followed and all data and information is uploaded to the relevant data bases  

• Establish appropriate professional boundaries in relationships with young people/adults 

• Support volunteers within sessions and facilitating activities. 

• Support with completion of risk assessment for all activities

• Support with Internal staff training to upskill and improve staff capabilities 

Supporting with Impact, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting 

• Use goal-based outcomes and additional monitoring tools to monitor effectiveness and the impact of support for CYP accessing the service 

• Support the LGBTQ+ team to monitor, evaluate and develop the project, to meet programme ambitions 

• Support the LGBTQ+ team to develop and evaluate service delivery and scale up the programme 

• Support the LGBTQ+ team to ensure accurate and timely data reports, for internal management and funders in line with project reporting timelines and expectations, reported from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective 

• Assist with regularly monitoring and reviewing the services 

Personal Development/other duties 

• Keep up to date with good practice, legislation and policies that have an impact on service delivery at Eikon 

• Work as part of a team to lead and inspire collaboration across Eikon. 

• Support the LGBTQ+ team with additional tasks relevant to delivery and development of the project 

• Work within Eikon’s internal policies, safeguarding and data protection regulations 

• Attend training and supervision as discussed and agreed between yourself and line manager
