In this varied and rewarding role, you will work across multiple areas of fundraising and event coordination to secure vital funds that enable the Trust to continue our impactful work.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual, who is passionate about our work and enjoys building relationships. Working closely with the fundraising team, senior volunteers, and colleagues in the wider team, you will take a leading role to deliver engaging fundraising events, activities and campaigns and expand the Trust’s portfolio of events, challenges and initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, a strong team player and have excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be a strategic thinker, have a willing attitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full time permanent role with a minimum of 3 days a week in our Central London office, offering increasing annual leave entitlement based on length of service, as well as office closure between Christmas and New Year. Plus two days for Rosh Hashanah and one day for Yom Kippur should they fall on weekdays.
Key responsibilities
Events
· Oversee, coordinate and deliver our calendar of fundraising events including logistics and administration.
· Help organise our annual Appeal Dinner, the Trust’s flagship fundraising event, overseeing all administration, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and oversee adverts in Appeal Dinner brochure.
· Liaise with companies to arrange corporate events with Holocaust survivor speakers and develop relationships with existing and new companies to increase income in this area.
· Oversee and work with Young HET supporters to motivate them to fundraise for the Trust
· Work with other colleagues to market events through targeted messaging.
· Develop ideas for new fundraising campaigns, initiatives and events to grow income and cultivate new donors.
Community Fundraising
· Support fundraising campaigns including the coordination of appeals, newsletters and mailouts.
· Establish a programme of fundraising challenges (such as marathons and sporting events) to generate income and supporter engagement, building key relationships.
· Work with our Education and Outreach teams to oversee engagement and support from schools, synagogues and other institutions.
· Lead on digital fundraising campaigns and prepare content for social media.
General
· To manage the acknowledgment and thanking of donations and help to ensure the database is maintained.
· Work collaboratively with the Fundraising team on current and future fundraising strategy and activities, to shape fundraising priorities.
· Comply with relevant legislation with regards to data protection including General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
· As part of a small team, to contribute to other areas of the Trust’s work as required.

Job Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Individual Giving and Legacy Team at Alder Hey Children’s Charity. The role will oversee the development and administration of the individual giving portfolio at the charity and work closely with the Individual Giving Manger to plan and implement a strategy for growth and exceptional supporter engagement.
Main Duties/ Tasks
Income Generation & Stewardship
Work alongside the Individual Giving Manager and Head of Community Fundraising to produce and execute an effective and sustainable individual giving plan.
Create and implement effective donor journeys to maximise the engagement and retention of supporters.
Identify potential new individual giving audiences and implement acquisition strategies in order to grow the individual giving database.
Work across the organisation to champion individual giving and to implement excellent supporter care.
Work alongside the Individual Giving Manager to manage budgets including forecasting and tracking and making sure costs remain low for maximum return on investment.
Identify opportunities for colleagues in fundraising and throughout the hospital and pass these on as appropriate.
Ensure fundraising remains within legal constraints and pays attention to safeguarding requirements.
Work positively and proactively with our volunteer supporters.
Project Management
Develop and execute IG programmes and appeals. Programmes include but are not restricted to; Direct Mail, Raffles, Letters from Santa, Payroll Giving.
Work alongside the Marketing Team to create, manage and evaluate innovative and thought-provoking multi-channel campaigns to increase individual giving income.
Manage individual giving fundraising campaigns such as The Big Give, Giving Tuesday and seasonal appeals.
Work with internal colleagues and external suppliers, agencies and fulfilment houses, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Data Management & Reporting
Manage the selection and segmentation of individual giving data for campaign purposes.
Oversee the timely importing and exporting of donor data to ensure that supporter records are up to date.
Use campaign data to report on effectiveness of activity and inform decision making and future planning.
Ensure all individual giving activity complies with the appropriate regulation and legislation and delivers an excellent experience for supporters.
Identify and develop the systems and processes necessary to deliver effective individual giving activity including the website, social media and email, fundraising database, data analysis tools and social media.
Work in conjunction with the Finance Manager to ensure all legacy income and communications are recorded.
Work alongside members of the team to develop fundraising initiatives, attend team meetings, plan and budget.
Responding to general enquiries from the individual giving, in memory and legacy fundraising email addresses and telephone lines.
Other Duties
Be an outstanding advocate for Alder Hey Children’s Charity in line with the core values of the organisation.
Support, when required, other fundraisers within the Individual Giving and Legacy Team.
Be an active and supportive member of the Alder Hey Children’s Charity team, contributing to the team’s development and working collaboratively with colleagues and volunteers. Attend and support on events run by the fundraising teams where required.

We’re looking for a Senior Face to Face (F2F) Fundraising Manager to join our Face to Face Fundraising team. This is a fantastic opportunity within the RNLI to play a vital role in developing and growing the RNLI in-house F2F Fundraising team to reach the ambitious targets we have ahead. This role manages a team of F2F Managers who each lead a team of F2F fundraisers signing up regular supporters within a defined geographical area and raise vital long-term funding for the charity, as well as delivering lifesaving water safety messaging. The role is part of the F2F Senior Management Team, supporting the team’s development through leading projects that drive forwards team performance.
Your role
As a Senior F2F Fundraising Manager, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:
- Recruit, train and manage a geographically diverse group of direct reports. Develop and motivate direct reports to deliver key messages, campaigns and products within the F2F strategy.
- As a senior manager in the F2F fundraising team (200+ staff), continue to develop and maintain a positive high-performing culture to ensure the team are performing at their best and developing. Drive continuous improvement across all KPIs.
- Construct and monitor financial and performance reports to ensure budget & KPIs are met, reforecasting where necessary.
- Develop a positive safety culture by identifying and managing risks to health and safety and safeguarding.
- Oversee compliance & complaints to ensure RNLI F2F fundraising adheres to best practice.
- Lead the delivery of selected team projects from initiation to completion, working with colleagues both within the F2F team and the wider organisation to provide the plans, processes and tools needed for the team to achieve their objectives. Develop solid relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders across the UK and Ireland.
About you
Leading a frontline team, you’ll have excellent communication skills and people management capabilities, with a proven track record of achieving fundraising targets. You will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to use your networks to ensure that plans are executed well and future opportunities are maximised to drive both the volume and value of new supporters.
You’ll be a role model to others, displaying behaviours that inspire respect. You’ll look after your people so they in turn can look after our donors, by displaying a passion to lead, manage and motivate a diverse team who engage with the public. You’ll be positive, confident, determined resilient and naturally outgoing. You’ll be a self-starter who can lead an energetic and innovative team to success.
You’ll be a team player with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach to problem solving and a calm attitude to prioritising a busy workload. Your strengths in planning and critical thinking will help you strike the balance between taking calculated risks where required and maintaining compliance to policies and sector regulations.
You’ll be flexible and prepared to work out-of-office hours with travel throughout the year. Substantial annual leave during the summer would not be practical for this role. This post requires a valid driving licence.
To be considered as the Senior F2F Fundraising Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience and success in leading a remote face-to-face fundraising team. This will either have been gained working for a charity or a fundraising agency
- Evidence of managing and motivating a team of paid staff or volunteers to achieve goals/targets
- Demonstrable experience of delivering projects that provide improvement to process
- Excellent communication skills and teamworking ethos
- Self-motivation and ability to create and prioritise own workload

About the role
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Leadership Giving Officer to cultivate and solicit gifts from alumni who have the capacity to make donations to the university of between £1,000 and £50,000.
You will be working in an exciting and varied role that blends one to one, and mass fundraising, as part of the Leadership Giving team within the Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement department. We are a warm, collaborative, and enthusiastic team with a passion for innovative fundraising for meaningful impact.
The postholder will support fundraising for exciting and impactful initiatives across the university. The primary responsibility of the role is to manage two of the flagship Leadership Giving Programmes: the Kingsmaker Guild and Key to King’s. Additionally, they will also manage a portfolio of prospective and existing donors who they will connect with personally, engaging them with the university with the aim of soliciting new or uplifted donations.
Sitting within the KCL Philanthropy Team and working collaboratively with the other fundraisers in the university, the Leadership Giving Officer will manage the delivery of mass-fundraising appeals and stewardship, while also spending time in direct interaction with donors, both in and out of the office.

About the Role
