As the Individual Giving Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the organisations cash programme and implementing the mid-value strategy. This is a great opportunity to take more strategic responsibility in developing the cash appeal strategy including, content, creative, data, digital, cross-team integration and analysis. Working collaboratively with others in the Fundraising and Engagement Team particularly, the Head of Supporter Engagement, and the Supporter Care Manager, you will ensure the supporter is at the heart of all campaigns and stewardship.

To be successful as the Individual Giving Manager, you will have proven experience of direct marketing and ideally within a fundraising environment. This person will need to understand how to use data segmentation and analysis to make informed decisions on individual giving strategy. Leading projects, this person will need to be able to work autonomously and collaboratively to bring teams together.

The Senior Fundraising Officer will play a key role in the Fundraising Team helping to generate significant and increased income from charitable trusts and foundations and corporate partners.

The role will be responsible for ensuring a regular pipeline of new and existing income from both areas and ensuring partners are stewarded appropriately to maximise engagement with the charity’s aims and objectives.

The post holder will:

• Identify, research and develop new trusts and foundations leads.
• Proactively oversee and grow relationships with trusts and foundations that give four and five figure grants, identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships utilising meetings, project visits, informal updates and monitoring and reporting as appropriate.
• Produce formal reports to funders regularly as directed by grant giving bodies.
• Maintain accurate records to support reporting requirements and forward planning.
• To be proactive in cultivating relationships with potential new funders
• To identify relevant statistics and research to contribute to applications.
• Working with colleagues from across QAC to be able to produce compelling cases for support.
• Writing up case studies and developing other content to be used for applications but also within the wider fundraising functions.
• Identify business networking opportunities for QAC to be promoted within identifying new potential business partners.
• To work alongside the Fundraising Officer to build upon and develop our current corporate engagement events.
• Stewardship and engagement of businesses supporting QAC.
• Working within a small team the post holder will provide occasional support to other areas of fundraising including events, community fundraising and charity promotion.
• To undertake training as required to carry out the duties of the post in an informed, effective and efficient manner.
• To keep up to date with new developments in fundraising in these areas through research, reading and attending external meetings.

 

Prospectus is excited to be supporting St Luke’s Hospice. The hospice’s mission is to provide the highest standards of individualised care for people with life-limiting conditions, palliative and end of life care needs, and their families, living in Basildon and Thurrock districts.

Reporting to the Head of Donor Acquisition and Retention (HODAR) and working within the Fundraising team, the Legacy and In Memory Lead is responsible for managing implementation of the Hospice’s legacy (gifts in Wills) and in memory strategies and developing annual delivery plans. The post holder will strategically plan and deliver promotional and stewardship activity, as well as ensuring provision of an excellent supporter experience, to achieve budget net income across these income streams and grow our active support base, including numbers of known supporters who would consider or have already pledged a gift in their Will to the Hospice.

The Legacy and In Memory Lead will work closely with the Individual Giving Lead to ensure appropriate coordination of planned activities involving existing and prospective individual giving, legacy and in memory audiences. The post holder will also work closely with the HODAR to help inform the development of departmental strategies.

The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable and relevant experience of in memory and/or legacy fundraising and developing in memory products. You will have experience in using a variety of on and offline channels to deliver successful marketing campaigns to both acquire and develop donors. You will have demonstrable experience of managing targets and income and expenditure budgets.

This is a permanent position with flexible hybrid working, based 4 days from their Essex offices. The salary is £28750.42 to £37,293.98 depending on experience.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser or a candidate with transferrable skills who is looking for their next challenge.

This fundraising role is varied and fun and may suit someone who has worked in fundraising for a few years and understands the diverse range of responsibilities that come with the role. You should be able to work well in a small team and be prepared to adapt cheerfully to changes and challenges that may crop up daily.

Your main area of responsibility will be for generating income by writing proposals to Trust and Foundations, working with service managers across the country to research and build compelling cases for support across the organisation.

We are looking for someone who can secure multi-year grants and core funding support through creating high value applications and also have the skills to research and fire off multiple applications to smaller trusts for small projects on a daily basis.

Experience in meeting fundraising targets would be useful but not essential.  An important aspect of the role will be maintaining up to date reporting systems of approaches and successes and fulfilling grant obligations to funders.

As part of a small fundraising team and you will also work with your colleagues to further develop the Walk for Autism fundraising campaign and be instrumental in developing a high quality supporter journey using email, texts and social media.  Developing digital fundraising is one of our main strategies so a willingness to learn new skills in this area is a key part of the role.

You will be required to work outside of office hours occasionally with some travel to services around the UK.  It would be helpful to have a driving licence but it’s not essential.  This position is subject to a Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) that will be met by Autism Initiatives.

The role

The Corporate and Individual Giving Manager is responsible for generating sustainable income by identifying, engaging with, and securing funding through individuals and corporate donor relationships.

Establishing sustainable fundraising streams is a top priority for the centre. This role will play a crucial part in strengthening our strategy for Individual and Corporate Giving, with a keen focus on continuous growth. Role Overview:

The post-holder will be working closely with other members of the Fundraising Department to gain exposure for the charity and the fundraising campaigns run throughout the year.

The Events and Volunteer team is essential to the growth of Muslim Hands both in raising awareness via our events which host thousands of people throughout the year, increasing awareness of our work and generating donations. The post-holder’s role will be central in expanding this and helping further the reach of Muslim Hands.

Main Responsibilities:

• To be the first point of contact for enquires in volunteering and events for post-holder’s local area.

• To support, manage and supervise the recruitment of volunteers.

• To equip head volunteers with the knowledge, motivation and understanding to carry out their role within the community on behalf of Muslim Hands.

• To work closely with key volunteers and groups to maximise Muslim Hands’ presence and work in the local community.

• To support our flagship events in post-holder’s local area including Gaza Winter Walk, Ramadan activities and a range of outdoor and international events.

• To organise and be responsible for local events in post-holder’s area in order to maximise Muslim Hands presence and raise funds for various projects.

• To arrange and attend masjid collections and make announcements to the congregation in the masjid.

• To build relationships with key groups and businesses in post-holder’s local area such as schools, scout groups and supermarkets.

• Ensure that all practices of the work carried out is clearly planned, monitored and evaluated in.

• Ensure all activity is conducted within up-to-date policies including health and safety and data management.

• To work closely with the Events and Volunteer Assistant Manager and the broader Fundraising team.

• To undertake (/progress towards undertaking) all tasks and duties in an effective, efficient, transparent, and wholly accountable manner.

• To undertake any reasonable responsibilities as required by line manager.

Senior Philanthropy Manager

Art Fund is the UK’s national fundraising charity for art. We give grants to help museums, galleries, historic houses and public arts organisations to acquire objects for their collections, to share them with as many people as possible, and to support research and training for museum professionals. As Senior Philanthropy Manager, you’ll play a key role in the Development team by securing income towards a range of programmes, projects and appeals for museums and galleries across the UK.
