To be successful as the Philanthropy Manager you will have proven experience in building and securing relationships with individuals capable of giving gifts of a four, five or six figure level. The role.
This is an exciting role that sits on the senior leadership team with a significant amount of autonomy for an outstanding fundraiser and leader who is interested in further developing a fundraising function to eventually deliver c.£1.8m fundraising income per annum.
They are at a crucial stage in the evolution of their fundraising. Opened in 2019, our Youth Zone is founded on the OnSide funding model whereby the first four years of revenue is made possible primarily by major donors – Founder Patrons – who each committed a minimum of £25k pa for four years.
Now as they enter year five, they seek the continuation of this support and are in the initial stages of diversifying their income sources. They have also secured significant ringfenced funding to expand the fundraising team, and the incoming Director of Fundraising will have significant scope to shape the team around their vision and strategy. Today, dementia is the leading cause of death in the UK. By 2025, more than one million people in the UK will be living with this often-devastating condition. About the Role
The role of Corporate Development Executive is incredibly varied and there is a real focus on working with the Corporate Development Manager to secure a diverse portfolio of national Partnerships. You will be responsible for managing a pipeline of prospects, supporting with major new business opportunities and leading on prospect research projects.
You will work closely with colleagues in the account management team to work on partnership opportunities as well as be a key member of the wider Partnerships and Philanthropy team.
About You
You must have had experience in Corporate Fundraising or in new business in the Corporate sector in either a sales or marketing role. You must be a passionate driven, individual who is able to demonstrate a good track record of working towards targets and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
This role is a hybrid role with one day a week required to work in the Charities Head Office in Aldgate, London.
