As Fundraising Manager, you will have experience overseeing various income streams, including individual giving, regional fundraising, corporate partnerships, and in-memory fundraising. The key responsibilities include:

- Provide general oversight and line management support to our fundraising and lottery teams, comprising 26 dedicated individuals. You'll offer specific guidance and support to a core group of 7 team members.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills to drive performance across various income streams, ensuring success in individual giving, regional fundraising, corporate partnerships, and in-memory fundraising.
- Offer operational support to the team, ensuring smooth day-to-day practices and leveraging your strong fundraising background to provide expert guidance.

About the role

The Individual Giving Team help us achieve our goal of delivering human rights impact by raising funds from our supporters. Main duties and responsibilities

· Strong data management and analysis skills

An exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative fundraiser to develop a strategic programme of mid to high level donors for a charity working to build a fairer UK justice system within everyone’s reach.

As the Major Gifts Fundraiser, you will play a pivotal role in developing and sustaining fundraising relationships, working closely with the Director of Development, Chief Executive and Senior Management Team. You will be an integral member of the Development Team and work across other teams, particularly the Communications and Policy Teams to maximise fundraising and engagement opportunities and to deliver a first-class giving experience to every major individual donor.

The JUSTICE team currently work in a hybrid manner. Staff members have access to office space in London, however, attendance is currently optional. Our staff enjoy flexible working conditions, 27 days annual leave, plus the week between Christmas and the New Year, 8% employer pension contribution and access to an Employee Assistance Programme.

About you
As our Face-to-Face Agency Manager, you will have the incredible opportunity to engage the public in the critical work we do, inspiring them to support children in need. Reporting to the Senior Manager Direct Engagement, you will lead the nationwide delivery of our face-to-face fundraising programme, ensuring its success day to day. 

In this role, you will:

• Drive the success of our face-to-face agency program, meeting and exceeding KPIs and targets through effective management of stakeholders.
• Manage budget allocation and optimization across channels, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently.
• Lead the implementation of compliance and safeguarding programs, maintaining the highest standards.
• Support delivery of our innovative fundraiser engagement program, optimizing performance and motivation.
• Utilize data-driven insights to adapt campaign delivery and drive continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with agencies through direct engagement and site visits, ensuring transparency and excellence.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and deliver exceptional results. Lead ad-hoc direct engagement projects as required, contributing to our mission-driven work.

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Experience managing end-to-end face-to-face fundraising campaigns and teams.
• Deep understanding of the F2F fundraising landscape and agency models.
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training programs.
• Strong budget management skills and knowledge of charity marketing compliance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and drive results.

Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but there are likely to be times when you will be required to come to your contracted office (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter).  This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team and is intended to be time spent on collaborating with colleagues and relationship building.

Our fundraising is currently handled by a single staff member - our Fundraising Manager. Most of our income is from trusts and foundations, but we want to strengthen other income areas to improve our stability.

You will play a key role in helping us attract new supporters, take care of existing donors, explore new fundraising initiatives, and improve our communications with supporters across multiple fundraising streams.

Spectra are a lived experience organisation working with socially excluded and marginalised communities in an empowerment model, to ensure access to appropriate health, wellbeing and support services.

We offer evidence-based, inclusive, accessible, knowledgeable and quality services which are non-judgemental and delivered by peers. 

Spectra are looking for a fundraiser, focussing on smaller trusts and individual giving, to join a growing fundraising team with exciting plans. You will contribute to raising the income required to continue delivering counselling, advocacy, mentoring, outreach, groups and other support services at Spectra. You will report the Fundraising Manager. 

You will be confident working with diverse and intersectional groups who face social exclusion and inequalities around access to appropriate health care, wellbeing and holistic support. You will be able unequivocally to respect, support, promote and work within LGBTQ+ and other diverse communities.

£30,000 pro rata, 3 days per week.  Hybrid working (office in Ladbroke Grove) with 25 days holiday and bank holidays (pro rata), plus a pension scheme.
